I sat there listening to the song and wondered what my life would be like after meeting the Backstreet Boys. I was going to meet them because my best friend, Amy, was engaged to Brian. I arrived in Orlando and drove to the address Amy gave me. I pulled in and got out of my rental car and got my bags and went to the door and rang the doorbell. The door opened and Nick stood there. "Hello, are you Bri?" Nick asked. "Yeah, and you are Nick," I said. "Yeah, let me get that for you, Amy and Brian are at the church making arrangements, they asked me to wait here for you so that you wouldn't be stuck outside," Nick said. "Cool, should I wait for them to show me to a room or should I just pick one?" I asked. "Wait for them, that way they know that the room is clean," Nick said. I plopped down on the couch. "So, how do like Amy?" I asked. "She's cool, became one of my best friends, how old are you?" Nick asked. "Same age as you, only you are seven days older than me," I said. "Cool, do you believe in love at first sight?" Nick asked. "Yeah, why?" I asked. "Because I love you, I hardly know you and I fell for you when I first saw you at the door," Nick said. "I fell for you when I first saw you on TV which was three years ago," I said. "Can I kiss you?" Nick asked. "Yes," I said. He leaned over and pressed his lips to mine. We kissed softly. He pulled back and we smiled and kissed again. We laid on the couch and kissed. We didn't hear the door open. We heard someone clear their throat. We pulled apart and looked at the door and saw Brian and Amy standing there with weird looks on their faces. "What's going on?" Brian asked. "She had something in her eye," Nick said. "Nice try, Frack, are you trying to bed her?" Brian asked. "No, Frick, I'm not okay, I'm not like that and you know it!" Nick said. "Just kidding, Frack, let me guess, you two talked and realized that you're in love," Brian said. "Yeah, that's right, is that a problem?" Nick asked. "Nope, it's great because we can double date!" Amy said. "My fiancee and her ideas, hi I'm Brian," Brian said. "I'm Bri," I said as me and Nick sat up. Amy and I went into the kitchen and talked about the wedding and what's been happening for the past three years. "Matt broke up with you because you were coming down here, is Nick the rebound?" Amy asked. "No, I have been in love with Nick for three years, you know that, I think that's the reason Matt broke up with me, because I was in love with someone else, someone I didn't know until now," I said. "Well, I think you and Nick belong together, he just broke up with Mandy and I know you won't hurt him," Amy said. "I know I won't, Nick's special, Matt wasn't," I said. "Hey girls, who's Matt?" Brian asked as he and Nick came into the kitchen. "He's Bri's ex, he broke up with her before she came down here, he didn't like the fact that Bri was in love with someone else," Amy said. "Who?" Nick asked. "You, Nick," Amy said. Nick wrapped his arms around me. Brian wrapped his arms around Amy and we all talked. The next day, Amy and I were at the bridal shop. I was trying on a dress. "How does this look?" the lady asked. I looked at Amy. She smiled. "It's perfect, you look great in it, Bri, Nick will drool when he sees you in that dress," Amy said. Amy paid for the dress and I got it and we walked out of the store. We walked through the mall. "I love Brian so much, Bri, I can't wait until he and I are married," Amy said. I looked at her and smiled. "What's the matter, Bri," Amy said. "I was just thinking about things, that's all," I said. "You were thinking about Nick, weren't you," Amy said. "Yeah," I said. "Bri, Brian told me last night before we went to bed that Nick is crazy about you, and you two only knew each other for a day," Amy said. "It was love at first sight," I said. We continued shopping and talked about the guys. We went back to Brian's house. Nick and Brian were sitting on the couch playing Nintendo. "Hi boys," Amy said. "Hey," they said not looking up. Amy and I looked at each other. "Brian, Nick, Bri and I are naked," Amy said. The guys looked up and the game was over as we heard. "Oh man!" they said throwing their controllers down. Amy and I laughed. I went upstairs to my room and hung my dress up. Nick came in. "What did you get?" Nick asked. "My maid of honor's dress, you'll see it at the wedding," I said. "I want to see it now," Nick said. "You will just have to wait like everyone else," I said wrapping my arms around his waist. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and we kissed deeply. We moved to the bed and laid down and kissed. Brian and Amy came in and cleared their throats. We sat up and they sat down and we talked. Two weeks later, it was two days before the wedding and there were problems between Brian and Amy. Amy was worried because he didn't come home the night before. We were talking. "Where could he be, I'm worried, I asked the guys, they don't know, I haven't Nick yet, and Nick would know because he's Brian's best friend, and Brian would tell him anything," Amy said. We went to Nick's house. I knocked on the door. Nick opened the door. Nick opened the door and smiled. "Hey girls," Nick said. We went in and Nick closed the door. We sat down. Nick sat down. "Nick, have you seen Brian?" Amy asked. "No, Amy, I haven't," Nick said. "He didn't come home last night," Amy said. "That's not like him, did you call his cell phone?" Nick asked. "It's at the house," Amy said. "Oh boy," Nick said. "I'm scared," Amy said. "It'll be okay, Amy," I siad. "He doesn't want me anymore," Amy said. I wrapped an arm around her and she cried on my shoulder. I looked at Nick and I knew he was thinking the same thing as me. Where was Brian? Five hours later, Nick and I were sitting on the couch of Brian and Amy's house. Amy went to lay down. Brian hadn't returned home yet. I sat there. "Where is Brian, why is he doing this," I said. "I don't know, but I want to hurt him," Nick said. "Wait in line," I said. "I know Brian loves Amy, I know he's crazy about her but why would he do this," Nick said. The door opened and Brian came in and saw us. Nick stood up. "Where in the hell have you been!" Nick yelled. "Out," Brian said. "Since yesterday, Brian, Amy is really upset, she was worried sick!" I said. "Where is she?" Brian asked. "Upstairs, laying down, she cried herself to sleep," I said. He headed for the stairs. "Brian," I said. He turned and looked at me. "What," Brian said. "You want to know why she cried herself to sleep," I said. "Why," Brian said. "She's afraid that you don't love her anymore and you don't want her anymore, that's why," I said. "I love Amy more than anything and I want her more than anything," Brian said. "Then go tell her that," I said. He went upstairs. Nick and I went to his house. We sat down and watched a movie. "Bri, I have a question," Nick said. "What," I said. "Would you ever leave me for someone else?" Nick asked. "Not in this lifetime, Nick, I'm in love with you," I said. He smiled and we kissed and cuddled up. The doorbell rang. I got up and opened the door and saw Brian and Amy standing there. "Hey you two, got everything worked out," I said as they came in. "Everything's fine, Brian was getting cold feet, we talked and the wedding is still on," Amy said. "Brian, you have nothing to worry about," I said. "I know that now, what are you and Nick doing?" Brian asked. "Watching Miss Congeniality with Sandra Bullock," I said. They sat down. I sat down with Nick and we cuddled. We all watched the movie. Two hours later, Brian and Amy went home. I got up and got my purse. "Where are you going?" Nick asked. "Home," I said. "Stay the night," Nick said. "You really want me to stay the night," I said smiling. "Yeah, I want to hold you in my arms all night, just sleep," Nick said. "I don't have any pajamas," I said. "I'll let you have a T-shirt and boxers," Nick said. "Okay," I said. We went upstairs. He gave me a T-shirt and a pair of boxers. I went into the bathroom and closed the door. I changed into the boxers and shirt and went out and saw Nick in a pair of boxers. "I always sleep in boxers," Nick said. "I'm so tired," I said. We got into bed. He pulled me close and held me close. I rested my head on his chest and closed my eyes. He kissed the top of my head. "I love you, Bri," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. We fell asleep holding each other. Two days later, it was Amy and Brian's wedding day. I was ready to go and helping Amy get ready. Brian's mother was in there with us. "I can't believe this day has finally come," Amy said. "I'm so happy that you are going to be a part of the family, Amy, I couldn't ask for anyone better than you for my son," Jackie said. "I love Brian so much, I can't imagine my life without him, I can't live without him," Amy said. Jackie and I smiled and we continued helping her get ready. There was a knock at the door. I opened it and saw Harold SR standing there. "It's time," he said. "Okay, she's almost ready," I said. I closed the door and we put the finishing touches on Amy's makeup and hair. She looked in the mirror. She smiled and we went out. I stood in front of her. Amanda and Kristen were in front of me. They looked at me and smiled. The doors opened and Amanda and Kristen walked down the aisle. Then I followed. I saw Nick standing beside Harold JR as he stood beside Brian. I smiled at Nick. He smiled and winked at me. I stood beside Kristen. The music started up and the doors opened and Amy and Harold SR walked down the aisle. They arrived at the altar. Brian and Amy faced the minister and the ceremony began. They exchanged vows and rings. They were pronounced husband and wife and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. They walked up the aisle. At the reception, Nick and I stood together. We talked to Kevin and Howie. Nick was standing behind me with his arms wrapped around me. We talked about the wedding. An hour later, Amy and Brian left for their honeymoon. Nick and I went back to Brian and Amy's house. We cuddled up in front of the TV and watched a movie. I looked up at Nick. He looked at me and he leaned down and brushed his lips against mine. I pulled him down and kissed him deeply. We laid on the couch with me on top and we kissed. Soon, our clothes were flying off and we were making love. We laid there afterwards holding each other. "I love you, Bri, so much," Nick said kissing my forehead. "I love you, too," I said. We got our clothes and went up to my room and went to bed holding each other.

Chapter 2

Three weeks went by and Nick and I were closer than ever after that night of passion we shared. I moved with Nick to give Amy and Brian their space since they are newlyweds. I wanted to live with Nick and stay in Florida. The guys headed to the studio to record another album. They were currently in the Bahamas writing songs. Amy and I had to stay behind so they can concentrate on the music and not worry about us being the way. Brian insisted that I stay with Amy so she wouldn't be alone. Nick was happy about that decision because he didn't want me alone. "Bri, are you okay?" Amy asked. I was in the bathroom, throwing up. I cleaned up and went out. "I don't feel good," I said. "You look pale and you don't have a fever, I'll take you to the doctor," Amy said. We went to the doctor and Dr. Kelly ran tests on me. She came back in. "Bri, I'll call you with the results, okay, go home and rest and I'll call when the results are in," Dr. Kelly said. "Thank you, Dr. Kelly," I said. Amy and I went home. "What is wrong with me," I said. "We'll find out when Dr. Kelly calls, I'm here for you," Amy said. "Thanks, Amy," I said. We watched TV. Three hours later, the phone rang. I picked it up. "Hello," I said. "Bri, this is Dr. Kelly, I have your test results and you are three weeks pregnant," Dr. Kelly said. "Thank you for calling," I said. I hung up and went upstairs and sat down on the bed and thought about everything. What do I do? I sat there thinking. Amy came in and sat down. "Bri, what's wrong?" Amy asked. "I'm pregnant," I said. "How far along?" Amy asked. "Three weeks, I don't know what to do," I said. "You have to talk to Nick about this, talk to him when he calls," Amy said. "I can't tell him over the phone, Amy," I said. "What else can you do, Bri," Amy said. The phone rang. I picked it up. "Hello," I said. "Hey sweetie, how's it going?" Nick said. "I miss you," I said crying. "I miss you, too, honey, I'll be home in two weeks," Nick said. "I want you home now," I said. "What's wrong," Nick said. "I'm pregnant, Nick, three weeks along, I just got off the phone with the doctor," I said. "Oh god," Nick said. "I need to know if you want this baby," I said. "Bri, we'll talk about it when I get home," Nick said. "Nick, we need to talk about this now, I don't know what to do," I said. "Bri, look, I love you, I will talk to you when I get home, okay," Nick said. "How come you love me, Nick," I said. I hung up and cried. I laid down and cried. I fell asleep.
Meanwhile...in the Bahamas....
Nick sat there looking at the phone. He hung it up and sat there. Brian came over. "Frack," Brian said. "Bri's pregnant, Frick, she asked me how come I love her," Nick said. "Go to her, Nick," Brian said. Nick went back to Orlando.
Meanwhile........three hours later
Amy sat there watching TV when Nick came in. She pointed to the stairs. Nick went up and sat on the bed and put his hand on Bri's stomach. He smiled. He looked at Bri and saw her looking at him. "You want to know why I love you, you are beautiful and sexy and I can't live without you in my life, you are my true love and I can't imagine my life without you in it, you complete me, Bri, you are my soulmate, I want to be a father, Bri, I want that more than anything," Nick said. "I love you so much," I said. He hugged me. "We will get through this together, we have to work together and bring this little bundle of joy into the world, in eight months," Nick said. "I don't want to lose this baby, Nick, I can't lose this baby, I want to have this baby more than anything," I said. "We will have this baby, Bri, you and I together," Nick said. "You better get back to the guys," I said. "Yeah, Brian was the only one who knew where I was going, I better get back before Kevin has a fit," Nick said. "Call me later," I said. "You bet I will, I love you," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. He kissed me and my stomach and left. I put my hand on my stomach and smiled. "We are so lucky to have him, baby, your daddy and I will love you, I can't wait for you to get here," I said. I went to sleep, smiling and dreaming.
Meanwhile...in the Bahamas....three hours later....
Kevin was knocking on Nick's door. "Nick, get up," Kevin said. Brian came out of his room. "Cuz, he's not there," Brian said. "Where is he?" Kevin asked. "He went back to Orlando, something came up and he went to take care of it," Brian said. They heard the elevator open and Nick got off and saw Kevin. "Hey Kev, what's up," Nick said. "Why did you go back to Orlando?" Kevin asked. "Something I had to take care of," Nick said. "What's that," Kevin said. "None of your business, okay," Nick said. "Nick, tell me, now," Kevin said. "No!" Nick said. "Nick, tell the story, now," Kevin said. "I said it's none of your business!" Nick said. "Nick, it's all of our business," Kevin said. "Kevin, leave him alone," Brian said. "Quiet, Brian," Kevin said. "Who made you leader of the group, Kevin, huh, I didn't, no one did, there is no leader, I don't have to listen to you, get out of here!" Nick said angrily. "Kevin, just go, man," Brian said. "Nick, we are a group, we tell each other everything," Kevin said. "Well, this is none of your business, old man," Nick said. Kevin pushed Nick against the way and punched him. Kevin kept punching Nick. Brian tried to pull Kevin off. Howie and AJ ran in and pulled Kevin off of Nick. Brian helped Nick up. Kevin walked out. Nick sat down. Brian sat down. "I hate him, Brian, I can't tell him about Bri," Nick said. "Let him cool off, he didn't like being called 'old man'," Brian said. "I just wanted him to leave me alone," Nick said. "You got what you wanted," Brian said. "What about the group, how can we work together when me and Kevin hate each other," Nick said. "Let's see about it in the morning, I'm going to bed, good night," Brian said. He left. Nick called Bri and talked with her. They hung up and he went to bed. Two weeks later, Nick and Kevin were still not speaking to each other. The guys returned to Orlando. Nick and Brian went to Nick's house. Brian and Amy went home. Nick and Bri sat down holding each other. "You and Kevin still not talking?" I asked. "No, I don't like this, baby girl, not at all," Nick said. "Did you tell him that I'm pregnant," I said. "No," Nick said. The doorbell rang. I got up and opened the door. Kevin stood there. "Hi Kevin, come in," I said. He came in and saw Nick. "Nick, can we talk?" Kevin asked. "Yeah," Nick said. They went to the back. I sat down. An hour later, they came back in and Kevin hugged me and left. Nick sat down. "Everything is back to normal, I still didn't tell him," Nick said. We'll tell everyone at once, okay," I said. "I love you," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. We sat there holding each other.

Chapter 3

Two weeks went by and the guys were heading to Sweden to start recording the new album. Nick kissed me and my stomach and put his bags in the van. He kissed me deeply one more time and got into the van and the van drove off. I went back inside and sat down. Amy came in and sat down. A month later, I went to the doctor and the doctor checked me over. "Everything is going smoothly, except I hear two heartbeats," Dr. Kelly said. "Two heartbeats, what does that mean," I said. She brought in an ultrasound machine and hooked it up. She lifted my shirt and put jelly on my stomach and put the thing on my stomach and I looked at the screen. I couldn't believe my eyes. "It looks like you are having twins, Bri," Dr. Kelly said. "Oh my god," I said. She printed out a picture and I watched the screen. I saw them and smiled. She turned it off and cleaned up my stomach. She handed me the picture. "There you go, do you need copies," Dr. Kelly said. "Probably alot of them," I said looking at it. "Okay, I'll have copies made, and you can pick them up at your next appointment which will be a month from today," Dr. Kelly said. "Okay, thanks, Dr. Kelly," I said. "Was this a surprise to you, Bri?" Dr. Kelly asked. "Yes, a big one," I said. I went home and walked in and saw Amy, Kristen, and Amanda there. "What's up," Amy said. "You are not going to believe this," I said. "What, what is it," Kristen said. "I'm having twins!" I said. "Oh my god!" they said. I showed them the picture. We sat down and talked. That night, the phone rang. I picked it up. "Hello," I said. "Hey honey," Nick said. "Hi, how's the album going?" I asked. "Getting alot done, I miss you," Nick said. "I miss you, too, I went to the doctor today, I got a picture, I'll send it to you through email, okay, you have to seen it," I said. I logged on and scanned the picture. "You have a picture of the baby," Nick said. "Yeah, I'm sending it now," I said as I sent the email. "Okay, got it, I bringing it up and wow, what the," Nick said. "What do you see?" I asked. "I see two babies, Bri, are we having twins?" Nick asked. "Yeah, we are, there's two babies, I was so surprised," I said. "Not as I am, I can't believe it, I have to call my parents," Nick said. "Kristen, Amanda, and Amy were excited," I said. "I better go, I love you, sweetie," Nick said. "I love you, too, baby, bye," I said. I hung up and smiled. I put my hand on my stomach. "Hey honeys, your daddy will take great care of us, he loves us and he won't let anything happen to us, I love you two," I said. I laid down and went to sleep. Two months later, I received flowers from someone. I got ready and went to the beach. I saw a blanket with candles and a picnic basket. I felt arms around my waist and I smiled. "Hey honey, I missed you so much," Nick said. "I missed you, too," I said. We sat down. "I love you so much, I know I will love you until the day I die, I don't want there to be a day without you in it," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. We ate the food and went for a walk along the beach and went back to the blanket. Nick turned and faced me. He got down on one knee. "I love you with all my heart and soul, I want to be with you for the rest of my life, Bri, will you marry me and make me the happiest guy on earth," Nick said. I felt tears in my eyes. I put my hand on his chest and smiled. I stroked his cheek. "There is nothing more I want than to be your wife, yes, I will marry you, Nick," I said. He got out a ring and put it on my finger and kissed it. He kissed me tenderly. We went home and went to bed. The next morning, he went back to Sweden. Amy, Kristen, and Amanda came over and I told them the news. "Oh my god, Bri, this is so great," Amy said. "I know, I was so surprised, I love him so much, Amy, will you be my maid of honor?" I asked. "Of course I will," Amy said hugging me. "Kristen, Amanda, will you be my bridesmaids?" I asked. "Yes, we will, Bri," Kristen and Amanda said. "And I want you three to be godmothers to the babies," I said. "You bet we will!" they said hugging me. We all sat down and talked. That night, I went to bed and I laid there looking at my ring and I smiled. I went to sleep.

Chapter 4

Two months later, the guys were still in Sweden. I was sitting at home. I was five months along. The phone rang. "Hello," I said. "Hey sweetie, bad news, my parents hate me, they are coming out to talk to you," Nick said. "Oh," I said. "Babe, I love you, don't listen to them, okay," Nick said. "If they want me to give up the babies, it's out of the question, I want our babies," I said. "Me, too, I love you, sweetie," Nick said. "I love you, too, bye," I said. Five hours later, the doorbell rang. I opened the door and saw Jane and Bob Carter standing there. I let them in and closed the door. We sat down. "I know why are you are here, you want me to give up my babies, no way, I love my babies, they are staying with me, Nick and I are getting married and we are going to be a family here," I said. "Bri, we only want what's best for the babies," Jane said. "It's here with me and Nick, we want the babies, Nick wants to be a father, I want to be a mother, if you think I'm just using him because he's a Backstreet Boy and has money, think again, I love Nick with all my heart and soul and I can't live without him, he's my true love, my soulmate, I love him and I'm carrying proof that he loves me," I said putting my hand on my stomach. "Bri, we are sorry, we didn't know, we want to get to know you better," Jane said. The door opened and Nick came in. He sat down and Jane and Bob smiled. "Nick, we are happy about this, Bri is a very sweet girl and we can't wait until she's a part of the family," Jane said. "Bri, are you having boys, girls, or one of each," Bob asked. "I don't know yet, I want Nick there when I find out, but he'll be in Sweden," I said. "Bri, you know I'm working," Nick said. "I know, band first, then, me, I know how it is," I said. "Bri, you always come first," Nick said. "Then how come you don't show it," I said. "Bri, the guys and I are working on a new album," Nick said. "Maybe it should wait," I said. "Bri, it can't," Nick said. "I guess I'm not that important," I said. "Bri," Nick said. "Nick, I need you here with me, they are your babies, too, I need you here," I said. "Bri, I'll be home in three weeks and won't be leaving again until after the babies are born," Nick said. "Nick, I need you here now!" I said. "Bri, not now," Nick said. "I guess the band is more important than me!" I said. I went upstairs. Nick rested his head in his hands. He looked at his parents. Jane got up and went upstairs. She saw Bri standing at the window. "Bri," Jane said. "What am I doing, I don't want him to choose, I'm being selfish," I said. "Bri, you want him to be there for you, he'll be here for you in three weeks when the album is finished," Jane said. "I need to be alone to think, Jane," I said. "We'll be downstairs," Jane said. She left the room. I stared out the window and wondered, am I being selfish? I felt hands on my arms and I looked and saw a pair of worried blue eyes. "Nick, I'm sorry, I don't want you to choose, I just missed you so much and I guess it's the hormones kicking in," I said. "Baby, I love you, I want to be here with you more than anything in the world, but I have fans all over the world who are waiting for the new album," Nick said. "I'm sorry if I was being selfish, you are right, they are waiting and that includes me, go finish the album and come home to me," I said wrapping my arms around his waist. He wrapped his around my shoulders. "My mom is going to stay here and take care of you, she knows what it's like to have twins so she can give you pointers," Nick said. "You better get back before Kevin has a cow," I said. "I'll call you when I get there," Nick said. "You better," I said. We kissed deeply. Nick bent down to my stomach. "Bye babies, Daddy will be back soon," Nick said. He kissed my stomach and he hugged me and left. I went downstairs and he hugged his parents and came over to me. "I love you," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. He kissed me one more time and went out the door. Bob hugged Jane and came over to me and hugged me. I smiled. He left. Jane and I sat down and talked. "Feel better now," Jane said. "Yeah, everything's fine, I guess it was the hormones talking," I said. "I bet, that's how I was when I was pregnant with Angel and Aaron, I was saying weird things," Jane said. Amy, Kristen, and Amanda came in and saw Jane. They sat down and we all talked. That night, Amy, Kristen, and Amanda went home. Jane was settled into a guest room. I was in mine and Nick's room. I was lying in bed staring out the window and I smiled. I put my hand on my stomach. "We are lucky, babies, to have your daddy, he loves us and we are going to be a family, your daddy and I will love you both forever," I said. I went to sleep smiling. The next morning, I woke up and got up and went to the bathroom and noticed blood. I panicked. "Jane!" I called. Jane came running in and saw the blood. She looked at me. She ran and called 911. I was crying.

Chapter 5

The ambulance came and loaded me into the ambulance. They took me to the hospital. Jane stayed at my side until the waiting room where she had to stay. She went to the phones and called everyone. She called the guys in Sweden. "Hello," Brian said. "Brian, it's Jane, I need to talk to Nick, now," Jane said. "He doesn't arrived back for another hour," Brian said. "Get to the airport and get him back here, Bri's in the hospital," Jane said. "What, what happened?" Brian asked. "She went to the bathroom and discovered blood, it's the babies, Brian, get back here fast with Nick, get the guys and come back," Jane said. "Okay, bye," Brian said. Jane called Bob and told him what's going on. He was coming back. Jane sat down. Amy, Kristen, and Amanda came in. Jane told them the story. They all sat down and prayed and wondered the same thing. Will the babies make it. Two hours later, Dr. Kelly came out. Jane, Amy, Amanda, and Kristen stood up. "I'm afraid the babies didn't survive, there was too much blood and we couldn't stop it, Bri will be fine, she lost some blood, but she'll be okay, I'm sorry," Dr. Kelly said. She went back. Jane, Amy, Amanda, and Kristen sat down and cried. Jane went to see Bri. She was asleep. She went back out and sat down. Three hours later, Bob walked in and Jane told him. Bob held her close. Amy looked up and saw the guys coming in. Nick ran to his mother. "Mom, what happened?" Nick asked. "Bri went to the bathroom this morning, there was blood everywhere, I called 911 and we came here, Dr. Kelly just came out," Jane said. "What did she say," Nick said. "The babies didn't make it," Amy said hugging Brian. "What," Nick said. "Mr. Carter," Dr. Kelly said. "Why couldn't you do anything!" Nick said. "We tried, Mr. Carter, there was nothing we could do, it's not Bri's fault, it's no one's, these things happen, I'm sorry," Dr. Kelly said. Nick ran his hands through his hair. Bob walked over to Nick. "Nick, son," Bob said. Nick hugged his father and cried. Bob held his son close. Everyone watched as Nick broke down. They all wondered the same thing, will Nick and Bri survive this? An hour later, Nick was sitting beside Bri's bedside watching her sleep. He took her hand into his and kissed it. She stirred and opened her eyes and saw him. "Nick," I said. "Hey sweetie," Nick said. "Why did this happen?" I asked. "I don't know, honey," Nick said. "Don't leave me, Nick, I didn't mean for this to happen," I said. "Sweetheart, it's not your fault, these things happen, you aren't alone, there are alot of women out there who have miscarriages and lose babies, but they move on and they have babies, we can try again, I just talked to Dr. Kelly, it's not the end of the world, we can have more babies," Nick said. "That's true, thanks for making me feel a little better," I said. "Honey, I love you, I want to spend the rest of my life with you," Nick said. "I love you, too, I want to be with you forever," I said. He smiled and we kissed. There was a knock at the door. I looked and saw everyone. They came in and we talked. Three days later, I was released and Nick took me home and put me to bed. He kissed my forehead. "You better go finish that album," I said. "My mom is right downstairs if you need her, okay," Nick said. "Okay, I love you," I said. "I love you, too," Nick said. We kissed deeply and he left. I laid there and smiled. I knew everything was going to be okay.

Chapter 6

Three weeks later, I was completely over losing the babies. Nick and the guys had finished the album and were returning home. Amy, Kristen, Amanda, and I were at the airport. "Nick might get mad at you for being here," Amy said. "The doctor released me and I'm fine, I want to be here and he'll just have to deal with it," I said. The plane landed. We watched the guys walk off the plane. Amy ran to Brian and they hugged. Kristen and Kevin hugged. Amanda and AJ hugged. Nick was talking with Howie. "Nick," I said. He looked and saw me. He came over to me. "What are you doing out of bed, you should be resting," Nick said. "I'm fine, Dr. Kelly released me, I can do normal things now, I'm fine, besides I wanted to come see you," I said. "I'm sorry, I was just worried," Nick said. "I'm fine, Nick," I said wrapping my arms around his neck. He smiled. "I'm glad," Nick said hugging me. "I miss you," I said. "I missed you, too, baby," Nick said. We all went home. Nick and I walked into our house and he put his bags down. I sat down on the couch. He sat beside me. "What happens now?" I asked. "What do you mean," Nick said. I held up my left hand. "Are we still engaged or is it over because I'm no longer pregnant," I said. "We are still getting married, babe, I want to be with you forever, I love you," Nick said kissing my lips softly. "I love you, too," I said. We kissed deeply. We laid down on the couch and kissed. "Remember what happened last time we were on a couch, kissing," I said. "Oh yeah," Nick said kissing my neck. "I should tell you that I can do everything now," I said. "Oh really, like this," Nick said unbuttoning my shirt. "Oh yeah, like that," I said. He pulled off my clothes and I pulled off his and we made love. Afterwards, we laid there holding each other. "I don't ever want to lose you," Nick said. "I don't want to lose you either," I said. We fell asleep holding each other. The next day, I met Amy, Amanda, and Kristen at the mall. We met at the wedding boutique. "Hey, so the wedding is still on?" Amy asked. "Yeah, he wants to be with me forever," I said. "What happened yesterday when you got home from the airport," Kristen said. "We talked and then we made love," I said smiling. "You want to get pregnant again, don't you," Amanda said. "I wouldn't mind that," I said. "I'm pregnant," Amy said. "Congratulations," I said hugging her. "Thanks, Brian was so happy that I think he called everyone in Florida and Kentucky," Amy said. "He must be really happy," I said. "What theme are you looking for?" Kristen said. "I like the colors pink, white, yellow, and green together," I said. "Got to have green in there, it's Nick's favorite color," Amy said. "And mine, too," I said. A lady came over to us. "Excuse me, are you Britney Hardin?" she asked. "Yes," I said. "There's a phone call for you at the desk," she said. I went over and picked up the phone. "Hello," I said. "Hey baby, how's it going," Nick said. "Fine, just looking at dresses, what's up," I said. "I just wanted to hear your voice, I was wondering what you were doing," Nick said. "Well, I'm glad you called because I'm stopping by the tuxedo shop to set you and the guys up for an appointment to be fitted for tuxes," I said. "Fine, but when will the wedding be, the guys and I are going to be busy the next year," Nick said. "When does everything start?" I asked. "In six months," Nick said. "Nick, I can get everything done in three months," I said. "Okay, we need to talk about where we are going for our honeymoon," Nick said. "How about the Caribbean or Hawaii, or the Bahamas," I said. "I'll pick a place, you set me and the guys up with an appointment for our tuxes, and whatever other arrangements you have planned, I'll take care of the honeymoon, okay," Nick said. "Okay, and you write down who you want to invite and who you don't want to invite," I said. "Okay, I'll let you get back to what you were doing, I love you," Nick said. "I love you, too, bye," I said. I hung up and went back over to the girls and we looked at dresses. I found a wedding dress. I tried it on and smiled. I came out and the girls smiled. "Bri, if you wear that one, Nick will drool," Amy said. "Amy, he drools at everything she wears," Kristen said. "Oh yeah," Amy said grinning. I smiled and went to change back. The girls found their dresses. Amy's was pink. Kristen's was green. Amanda's was yellow. I bought the dresses and the lady wrapped them up and we left the boutique. "Amy, can you keep this dress at your house so Nick won't see it," I said. "Yeah," Amy said. I stopped in at the tuxedo shop and made an appointment for Nick and the guys. I put the dress in Amy's car and I got into my car. I went home and saw Nick sitting on the couch. "Hey," I said. "Hey, so when do the guys and I go get our tuxes," Nick said. "Tomorrow at one," I said. "Okay," Nick said pulling me down beside him. I smiled and kissed his cheek. He picked me up and carried me up to our bedroom and we laid on the bed and pulled each other's clothes off and made love. We laid there holding each other. "I can't wait until we are married," Nick said. "Me either," I said. We fell asleep holding each other.

Chapter 7

Three months later, it was two days before the wedding and the girls threw me a bachelorette party. They had a stripper come in and strip. We were laughing and having fun. They had me dance with the stripper. After he was done, he left. I looked at the girls. "Well, did you think he was sexy," Kristen said. "No guy is sexier than Nick," I said. We all talked and then drank alot of beer. Everything went blurry. I woke up the next morning with a headache. I sat up holding my head. Amanda and Kristen sat up holding their heads. Amy woke up. "Morning, girls," Amy said. "Amy, don't yell," I said. I got up and went to the bathroom and threw up. I heard the doorbell ring and I sat there by the toilet. I cleaned up and leaned back against the tub and closed my eyes. "Hey baby," Nick said. "Don't yell," I said. "Sorry, drink too much," Nick said quietly as he sat down beside me. "I think so, how was your bachelor party?" I asked. Amy brought in some coffee. I took a cup and took a sip and winced. "It was fun, I didn't drink much, just one beer, the guys had a stripper come in," Nick said. "You didn't sleep with her, did you," I said. "No, baby, the guys made me dance with her when she was naked and had her sit on my lap, that's it, but I didn't notice her because I was thinking about you, and how you look naked," Nick said. "The girls got a stripper and made me dance with him after he was done stripping, he was naked, after he left, Kristen asked me if he was sexy," I said taking another sip of coffee. "Did you think he was sexy," Nick said. "No guy is sexier to me than you, babe," I said. "That's sweet, baby, I love you," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. He kissed my lips softly. " I can't wait for tomorrow," Nick said. "Me, too," I said. "So you are staying here tonight," Nick said. "Yeah, I can't see you before the wedding," I said. "I'll miss you," Nick said. "I'll miss you, too, baby," I said. We kissed. He got up and left. I sat there smiling. The next day, we all were at the church getting ready. An hour later, we all were ready to go. There was a knock at the door. Amanda opened the door and saw my father standing there. "It's time," Dad said. I looked in the mirror and followed everyone out. I hugged my mother and she went to sit down. The doors were closed. The doors opened and Amanda and Kristen walked down the aisle. Amy walked down the aisle. The doors closed. My dad and I stood in front of the doors. The music started and we walked down the aisle. We reached the altar. The ceremony began. We exchanged vows and rings. "I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride," the minister said. Nick and I smiled and shared a tender kiss. Everyone stood up and clapped. We walked up the aisle. Once we were through the doors, Nick pulled me close. I smiled. He kissed me deeply. We went to the reception. I got up onstage. "Hello, everyone, I have a song that I want to sing to my husband, Nick, this song is for you," I said. The music started.

After I was done, everyone clapped. Nick came up to me and kissed me deeply. We got offstage and the guys and girls hugged me. "That was awesome, Bri," Brian said. "Thanks," I said looking up at Nick. We all talked for awhile. It was time to cut the cake. I stood in front of the table and picked up a cutter. Nick stood behind me and put his hand over mine. We cut the cake and fed it to each other. We shared our first dance. Then I threw my bouquet. Amanda caught it. AJ hugged and kissed her. I went upstairs and changed clothes. I was looking in the mirror. Amy came into the room. "Bri, you okay," Amy said. "I'm great, I'm Mrs. Nick Carter, I'm married to the man I love more than anything," I said. "Great song," Amy said. "Thanks," I said. "Nick's waiting," Amy said. I grabbed my purse and went downstairs. Nick grabbed my hand and we left for our honeymoon.

Chapter 9

Nick and I arrived at the airport to go to the Caribbean for our honeymoon. We were standing there waiting for our flight. Nick was hugging me from behind. "I love you, Mrs. Carter," Nick said. "I love you, too, Mr. Carter," I said. "Excuse me, are you Nick Carter?" a girl asked. Nick looked at her. "Yes, I am," Nick said. "Can I have your autograph?" she asked. "Sure," Nick said. He gave her his autograph. He hugged her. I smiled. She looked at me. "Can I have your autograph, too, Mrs. Carter?" she asked. "Sure," I said. I signed my name. "Thank you, and congratulations on the marriage, you two definitely belong together, bye," she said before walking off. Our flight was announced. We got on the plane and sat down. Nick held my hand. The plane took off. Five hours later, the plane landed. We got off and got our luggage and headed for the hotel. Nick got a suite and we went up to it. I walked in and looked around. Nick closed the door and locked it. "Wow, this is nice," I said. "Yes, it is," Nick said. I went to the window and looked out at the view and smiled. "Nick, come here," I said. Nick came over and wrapped his arms around me. "Wow, the view's incredible," Nick said. "Yeah, it is," I said. "I love you," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. I went out on the balcony and looked at the ocean. "What's wrong?" Nick asked. "Nothing, I'm just so happy right now, it's overwhelming," I said. "I can make it happier," Nick said lifting my hair up and placing a soft kiss on my neck. "I think I know how you can make it happier," I said closing my eyes. He pressed his hands on my waist and pulled me back against him. He kissed my neck and shoulder. He slid my jacket off and pulled my blouse out from my skirt and slid his hands underneath it. "Nick, let's go inside, baby," I said. He picked me up and carried me into the room and laid me on the bed. He pulled his jacket off and slid his shoes off. He went down and knelt at the end of the bed and pulled my shoes off. He climbed up on the bed and laid on top of me. We kissed deeply. He unbuttoned my shirt and slid his hand inside. He caressed my body and I arched towards him. He ripped open my blouse and pulled it off. He pulled off my skirt. I pushed his shirt off and pushed his pants off. We removed the rest of each other's clothes and made long, passionate love all night long. Afterwards, we laid there holding each other. "I love you," Nick said kissing my forehead. "I love you, too," I said. We kissed passionately and went to sleep holding each other. A week later, after days on the beach and nights of passionate lovemaking, we returned to Tampa. Brian and Amy were meeting us at the airport. We got off the plane and discovered a crowd there. Nick and I had disguises on and we slipped by without being noticed. Brian and Amy had disguises on and we all left the airport without any problems. We all went to mine and Nick's house. Brian and Nick sat in the living room while me and Amy were in the kitchen. "How was the honeymoon?" Amy asked. "Amazing, the hotel was great, the view was incredible," I said. "Which view?" Amy asked grinning. "Both, the view of the ocean from the room was incredible, we spent days on the beach," I said. "And night of passionate lovemaking," Amy said. "How did you know?" I asked. "I can see it in your eyes, Bri, you are more in love than ever," Amy said. "I love him more than anything in the world," I said. "I know how you feel, I still can't believe that I'm having a baby," Amy said. "I will be a godmother, right," I said. "Well, of course!" Amy said. "We are truly happy, aren't we," I said. "Oh yeah, we are very lucky and happy to have them," Amy said. We talked. That night, Nick and I went into our bedroom and closed the door and laid on the bed and pulled each other's clothes off and made love. We fell asleep holding each other. In the middle of the night, I woke up to the doorbell ringing. I got up and got dressed and went downstairs and opened the door and saw Brian standing there. "Brian, what is it, it's the middle of the night," I said sleepily. "Amy and I had a huge fight and I walked out," Brian said. "Come in," I said. He came in and sat down. I closed the door. "Where's Nick?" Brian asked. "He's asleep, what was the fight about?" I asked. "She got a letter from her ex-boyfriend, Mark, and he wants to meet with her, she was thinking about going and I said it was a bad idea and we got into a big fight, I told her to go to him and be with him again if that's what she wanted and I walked out, I went to the beach and walked for a little bit and then drove around for awhile and came here," Brian said. "Brian, you two have to talk this out, she loves you, I know that, she told me about a hundred times, there is no competition between you and Mark because you top Mark, she loves you more than she ever loved him, I can see that because I'm her best friend, she has always been in love with you, you two are having a baby, you are going to be a family and do you think she wants to give that up when that's what she wants, she wants to have a family and it's starting and she doesn't want to give it up for Mark, she wants to have a family with you," I said. "I guess I better get back and talk to her, huh," Brian said. "I think that will be the right thing to do," I said. "Thanks, Bri, you are a great friend," Brian said. "Yeah, can you leave, I was sleeping off jetlag, I'm tired, and I'll be grouchy tomorrow, goodnight, Brian," I said. "Night, Bri," Brian said hugging me. "Now go save your marriage," I said. "I'll talk to you and Nick later," Brian said. He left and I closed the door and locked it. I felt arms around my waist and lips on my neck. "Great advice, baby girl," Nick said. "Thanks," I said. "You have too many clothes on," Nick said turning me around. I saw that he was naked. I smiled and he pulled my clothes off and carried me upstairs and we laid on the bed and made love. We fell back asleep holding each other.

Chapter 10

Three months later, Nick and I were enjoying married life. Amy and Brian were getting ready to be parents. Amy was seven months along and loving it. Brian is very excited. Amy and I were sitting by the pool at mine and Nick's house while Nick and Brian were in the pool. "I can't wait until this is over, my feet hurts, my back hurts, plus I'm tired of Brian not letting me do anything," Amy said. "Amy, he loves you and doesn't want you to hurt," I said. "I know," Amy said. I heard the doorbell. I got up and opened the door and saw Matt and Mark standing there. "What are you two doing here," I said. "We came to see you and Amy," Mark said. "Sorry, not possible," I said slamming the door and locking it up. I went back out and sat down. "Who was at the door?" Amy asked. "The exes, Mark and Matt, wanting to see us," I said as the doorbell rang again. I groaned. Amy and I got up and went to the door. Amy opened it and saw Mark and Matt. "Look, guys, if you two want to get back together with us, dream on, we are married now and we are happy, leave us alone and stay away from us," Amy said. She slammed the door. Brian and Nick came in. "What's going on?" Nick asked. "Our ex-boyfriends are here, they want us back," Amy said. The doorbell rang. Nick and Brian opened the door. "Can we help you?" Nick asked. "We want to see Amy and Bri," Mark said. "Sorry, they don't want to see you," Nick said. "We just want to talk to them, that's all," Matt said. Amy and I went out and closed the door behind us. "So, talk," Amy said. "We miss you, too, we want you back," Matt said. I shook my head and walked off. Matt followed me. I stopped and stood there with my arms crossed. "Bri, I'm sorry for what I did, I've changed," Matt said. "And what do you want me to do, divorce Nick, be with you again," I said. "Yeah," Matt said. "No, never, I love Nick, he loves me, there is never going to be a you and me, we have been over for a long time, you hurt me, Matt, you cheated, I can't forgive you for that, Nick has not hurt me, I know he will never hurt me, he loves me, he is my husband, I'm not leaving him, never, get the hell out of here and don't come back!" I yelled. He pulled me close. He kissed me deeply. I pushed him away. "Don't you dare do that ever again!" I yelled. I ran back to the house. I heard Amy and Mark yelling at each other. Amy followed me into the house. I slammed the door. "Idiots!" I said angrily. "That bastard," Amy said. "I have to wash my face and change clothes, uggh!" I said. I went upstairs and went into the bathroom and closed the door. I got into the shower. I washed off and got out and dried myself. Nick came in. "Hey," Nick said. "Nick, take those clothes and burn them, uggh!" I said. I went out and put fresh clothes on. "You were watching, weren't you," I said. "Yeah," Nick said. "That guy makes me sick," I said. Nick pulled me close. "I know you love me and don't want him anymore," Nick said. "I want you and only you," I said. He kissed me passionately. "You are a much better kisser than him, you are better at everything than he ever was," I said. "Did you sleep with him?" Nick asked. "No, you were my first time, I never went that far with him, I don't want to talk about him anymore," I said. "Good, I don't want to, either," Nick said kissing my neck. "Did Brian and Amy leave?" I asked. "Yeah, they went home, they're okay," Nick said. "Make love to me, Nick, I need you so bad," I said. He went over and closed the door and locked it and we laid down on the bed and we pushed each other's clothes off and made love. Afterwards, we laid there holding each other. "I love you so much, Nick, I don't want to lose you, ever," I said. "I love you, too, and I don't want to lose you either," Nick said. We fell asleep holding each other. Two hours later, I woke up and saw Nick gone. I got up and got dressed and went downstairs and saw Nick talking to a blond girl. "Hey honey," I said wrapping my arms around his waist from behind. "Who is this?" she asked. "My wife, Mandy," Nick said. "So you're Mandy," I said. "Yes, so you're his wife?" Mandy said. "Yes, I'm Mrs. Nick Carter," I said. "How did you two meet?" Mandy asked. "I came down for Amy and Brian's wedding, Amy's my best friend," I said. "Oh, and you and Nick met and got together," Mandy said. "Yeah, it was love at first sight," Nick said. "Well, I better go, congrats on the marriage, bye," Mandy said. She left. Nick closed the door and locked it. He picked me up and carried me upstairs and closed the door of the bedroom and laid me on the bed and got on top of me and pulled my clothes off and we made love all afternoon. Afterwards, we fell asleep holding each other.

Chapter 11

Three weeks later, Amy was getting bigger. The guys found out that they were going on tour in three weeks. Brian was upset. Nick wasn't that happy. I arrived at the studio. Nick and Brian were talking. I walked up to them. "How can I leave, man, Amy is due around the time we leave, I can't leave her and the baby, I can't believe management," Brian said. "I don't want to leave Bri, but I have to, We've been marriage for four months now and I don't want to leave her," Nick said. "But you have to," I said. They looked at me. "The fans want to see you, you have to go," I said. "Bri, come with us," Nick said. "Who's going to stay with Amy?" I asked. "Oh man," Nick said. He walked inside. Brian's cell phone rang. "Hello, yes, what, are you sure, okay, I'll be right there," Brian said. "Brian, what is it?" I asked. "Amy's in labor!" Brian said. He ran to his Jeep. I ran inside. Nick, Kevin, Howie, and AJ were talking. "Guys, Amy's in labor, come on!" I said. We all went to the hospital. We sat down and waited. Dr. Kelly came out. "Hi guys, Amy and the baby are fine, the baby was born naturally and she will be fine," Dr. Kelly said. "Thanks, Dr. Kelly," I said. "She's in the nursery," Dr. Kelly said. I got up and went to the nursery. I looked in and saw the baby and smiled. "Where is she?" Nick asked. "Right there, she's beautiful," I said. "Oh man, she looks like Amy," Kevin said. "She has Brian in her, too," I said. "Where," AJ said. "She just opened her eyes, she has blue eyes," I said. "Yeah, she does," Brian said coming up to us. "Hey man, congrats!" Nick said hugging him. "Thanks, man," Brian said. Kevin, Howie, and AJ hugged him. Three days later, Brian brought Amy and the baby home. Two weeks later, the guys were practicing for the tour. I went into the studio and saw a recording studio. I looked around. A guy came in. "Who are you?" he asked. "I'm Britney Carter, Nick Carter's wife," I said. "Do you like singing?" he asked. "Yes, I do, I sing all the time," I said. "Do you have a record deal?" he asked. "Who are you?" I asked. "Max Martin, I write songs for the guys," he said. "And they are good, I don't have a record deal," I said. "You want to sing for me," Max said. "I have music for the Faith Hill song, There You'll Be, I sang it to Nick at the wedding, I want to become a singer," I said. "Let's record it and I'll send your tape to Jive Records," Max said. He led me to the recording booth and put earphones on me and went back and the music started and I sang the song. After I was done, I went out to where Max was. He smiled. "From what I heard, you have got the record deal, you are really good, you could really hit it big, you will receive a call from Jive Records, meanwhile, I'll write some songs for you," Max said. "Thank you," I said. I went out and went down to where the guys were practicing. I stood at the doorway and smiled as I watched Nick practice. Fatima called for a break and the guys sat down. I sat down next to Nick. "Hey sweaty boy," I said. "Hey, you," Nick said. "I want to be a singer," I said. "You want to do what?" Nick said. "Become a singer, like you guys," I said. "Bri, do you know how much work it is," Nick said. "Yeah, I can handle it, Nick, it's been my dream to become a singer, I want that to happen, it's already getting started, I met Max Martin, I recorded that song I sang to you and he's taking it to Jive Records, then he's going to write some songs for me," I said. "Why didn't you tell me," Nick said. "I just met him before I came in here," I said. "Why didn't you tell me about what you wanted to do," Nick said. "Because you were busy with getting ready for the tour," I said. "Break's over, guys," Fatima said. "We'll talk about this later," Nick said. "There is nothing to talk about, Nick, I want to be a singer, it's been my dream, and I'm not letting anyone take it away from me," I said. I walked out and went home. I called and talked with Amy. "He didn't like the idea at all, Amy, what do I do?" I asked. "Bri, this is your dream, he'll come around," Amy said. "I hope so, I don't want to fight with him," I said. "You two have to talk about this, or there will be a fight," Amy said. The other line beeped. "I'll call you back, Amy, I have another call," I said. "Bye," Amy said. I switched over. "Hello," I said. "Britney, this is Barry at Jive Records," the guy said. "Hi," I said. "Max brought over the tape and we listened to it, could you come down here, we would like to talk to you in person?" Barry asked. "Sure, bye," I said. I hung up and went down to Jive Records office in Orlando. I went in and was shown to Barry's office. I walked in and saw a man behind the desk. "Britney Carter?" he asked. "Yes," I said. "Barry Weiss, have a seat," Barry said. I sat down. "Max brought this tape of you singing this song and I have got to say that it's awesome, you definitely have what it takes to be a singer and performer, you just got yourself a record deal," Barry said. "Really, thank you so much," I said. I heard an angry voice and Nick barged into the office. "Don't give her a record deal," Nick said. "She has what it takes, Nick, she is an awesome singer," Barry said. "She was lip-syncing, that's not her voice," Nick said. "I did not! What is your problem!" I said standing up. "I don't want you singing!" Nick said. "You can't tell me what to do, you may be my husband, but it's my life, I choose what I want to do, I want to sing, Nick, I don't want to sit at home and twindle my thumbs, I want to do something, I have talent, I want to show it, I don't want to be a couch potato, I want to be onstage, singing to people, showing what I can do, like you guys, I've watched you guys onstage and that made me realize that that's what I want to do," I said. "We'll talk about this later," Nick said before walking out. I sat down. "You will work with Max on the songs, and I'll find a manager for you," Barry said. Brian and Kevin came in. "Hey," Brian said. "Guys, I got a record deal," I said. "That's great, Bri," Brian said hugging me. "Thanks," I said. "Hey, how would you guys like to be her managers, all five of you," Barry said. "Yeah, we'll talk to Nick, and the other two, you got managers now, Bri," Kevin said. I hugged them and I shook hands with Barry and we all left. I told Brian and Kevin what Nick did. "Bri, he's worried," Brian said. I nodded and went home and saw Nick. I put my purse down and glared at him. "What," Nick said. "Was that really necessary," I said. "I just want you to be my wife," Nick said. "Nick, I'll be your wife no matter what I'm doing," I said sitting down beside him. "I just want to come home to you," Nick said. "Well, you guys are my managers," I said. "What," Nick said. "Brian and Kevin came into Barry's office and Barry asked them if all five of you will be my managers, Kevin said they will talk to you, Howie, and AJ about it," I said. "Oh," Nick said. I moved so that I was straddling Nick's lap and facing him. "Nick, I love you, more than anything, there is no one else for me, if you are thinking that I'm going to leave you once I hit it big, think again, I could never leave you, I love you more than anything in the world, I can't live without you in my life," I said. Nick put his hands on my hips. "I love you, too, and I'll support you in whatever you want to do, I'm sorry for being a jerk," Nick said. I smiled and started kissing his neck. He pulled me closer. He started kissing my neck. I stopped kissing his neck and rested my forehead on his shoulder. I unbuttoned his shirt and pushed it open. My hands ran over his chest. He stood up and went over to the fireplace and knelt down and laid me on the floor. He got up and locked the door and closed the windows and the blinds. He turned off the lights. He went over and turned the fireplace on. The glow of the fire lit up the room. He laid on top of me. He pulled my clothes off and I pulled the rest of his off and we made love. Afterwards, we laid there holding each other. "I love you," Nick said. "I love you, too, baby," I said. We got up and Nick turned off the fireplace and we went upstairs to our bedroom and closed the door and locked it and laid on the bed and made love again. We fell asleep holding each other.

Chapter 12

Three months later, I was done recording my first album. Nick and the guys were going on tour again and this time I was going with them to open for them. Nick and I were packing. "I'm glad you are going with us, I would have missed you alot," Nick said. "I would have missed you, too, we will be together now," I said. "I know," Nick said pulling me close and kissing my neck. "I don't think so, Mr. Carter, you need to finish packing," I said. "But I'm done, all I had to do was put fresh clothes in the bags, and I did, I'm done, and you are done, I want you," Nick said lying me on the bed. We pulled each other's clothes off and made love. We laid there holding each other. "Come on, let's get going," I said getting up. I got dressed and closed my bags up and carried them downstairs. Nick came downstairs with his bags. Two hours later, we were on the tour bus. I was talking to Brian when I saw Nick come over and sit down beside me. "Mrs. Carter," Nick said. "Yes," I said. "Can I talk to you?" Nick asked. We went back to the entertainment room and he closed the door and locked it and looked around. He came over to me and kissed me hungrily. He turned on the stereo with the remote. He pulled my shirt off. "Nick," I said. "Hmm," Nick mumbled as he kissed my neck. "Not here," I said. His hands ran over my body. He pulled me closer. "I want you so bad, I can't wait," Nick moaned as he kissed my collarbone. "Oh god, Nick," I said. I pulled his shirt off. We pulled the rest of each other's clothes off and laid on the floor and he got inside me. He picked up the pace and we both reached our peaks. He laid on top of me and kissed me softly. "I love you so much," Nick said kissing my neck. "I love you, too," I said. We got dressed and straightened up and joined everyone up front. Three months later, we returned to Orlando. I was staring out the window of the Durango. "Baby, you okay?" Nick asked. "Yeah, I can't believe it's over, I had so much fun, the fans were incredible, every city loved me, did you hear the cheers," I said. "Yeah, you will make it big, baby, I know you will," Nick said. "I hope so, I just don't want anyone to hate me," I said. "Baby, there will be people who hate you and people who love you, don't worry about the people who hate you, focus on the ones who love you," Nick said. "Like you do, when the ones who hate you guys love N'Sync, and the ones who love you hate N'Sync," I said. "Yeah, we care about the fans who love us, not the ones who hate us, the ones who hate us, not our problem, the ones who love us, we do anything for them," Nick said. "That's why you guys dedicated Larger Than Life to the fans, because they love you and you wanted to show them that you love them," I said. "Yeah," Nick said. "I know I love you guys, especially you," I said. "And I love you," Nick said. He squeezed my hand. We arrived home. We carried our stuff in. I unpacked the clothes and put a load in the washer. I turned it on and went back out and Nick pulled me close and picked me up and carried me upstairs and laid me down and we made love. We fell asleep holding each other.

Chapter 13

Three weeks later, Nick, Brian, and AJ were going to Disney World with Aaron and his girlfriend, Hillary. "Are you sure you don't want to come?" Nick asked. "I'll be fine, I was planning on going over to Brian's and spending time with Amy and the baby, I'll be okay, go and have fun with your friends and brother, okay," I said. "I love you," Nick said kissing my forehead. "I love you, too," I said. He left. I went over to Brian's. I sat down beside Amy. "Hey, how's everything going?" I asked. "Brian and I are hardly getting any sleep, but it's worth it, she is so cute," Amy said. "How does Brian like being a father?" I asked. "He loves it, he sings to her, he gets up with her most of the time, and he even dances with her," Amy said. "She is adorable, she has Brian's eyes and your looks, did Brian already set an age of when she can start dating?" I asked. "He said she's not dating until she's thirty," Amy said. "And what do you think about that?" I asked. "I told him to ease up and let things happen when they do, he lowered it to twenty-one," Amy said. "He's just trying to be a good father," I said. "Well, he doesn't need to try, he already is," Amy said. The phone rang. "I'll get it," I said. I picked up the phone. "Littrell residence," I said. "May I speak to Mrs. Brian Littrell, please?" a woman asked. "Just a sec, here," I said handing the phone to Amy. I took the baby into my arms and held her. "Hello, yes, he's my husband, what, how is he? Okay, I'll be there as soon as I can get there, bye," Amy said. She got up and hung up the phone. "Amy," I said. "The guys were in a car accident, come on," Amy said. We got Gracie's bag and carseat and headed for the hospital. I ran in and went to the nurses station. "Can I help you?" the nurse asked. "I need to see my husband," I said. "And you are?" she asked. "Britney Carter, my husband is Nick Carter," I said. "He's in room 2453, down the hall there," she said. "Thank you," I said. I went to the room and saw Nick sitting on the bed with a neon green cast on his left arm and a bandage on his forehead. "Nick," I said. "Hey," Nick said. I gently hugged him. "I'm so glad you're allright," I said. "I'm fine, baby, but AJ is bad, he's in a coma, Brian broke his left arm and had a concussion but he'll be fine, Aaron and Hillary have bruises, they will be fine," Nick said. "What happened?" I asked. "AJ lost control of the car, he was talking and a drunk driver swerved into our lane and AJ swerved to avoid it and ended up in the ditch," Nick said. "I'll go check on AJ, okay," I said. "Baby, I need to see you, when the accident happened, I saw my life flash before my eyes and all I wanted was to see you, I don't want you to leave this room," Nick said. "Bri," Dr. Kelly said coming into the room. "Hi Dr. Kelly," I said. "You had a checkup yesterday, right," Dr. Kelly said. "Yeah," I said. "I have some test results here that you might like, you are four months pregnant," Dr. Kelly said. "Really, I wondered why I was getting fat," I said. "Congratulations, you two," Dr. Kelly said. "Thanks," Nick and I said. She left the room. Nick hugged me. "I can't believe it," Nick said. "Me either," I said. He kissed my neck. "I love you, baby," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. An hour later, we were in the waiting room, waiting for any news on AJ. Brian was out there with Amy and Gracie. Aaron and Hillary were sitting together. Kevin and Howie were talking. We told everyone the news when we came out and they all were happy for us. Dr. Thomas came out. We all stood up. "AJ just woke up and he will be fine, everything is fine," Dr. Thomas said. Chapter 14

Four weeks later, I was six months and loving it. I was in one of the bedrooms painting. I was going to make it the nursery. I was humming along to the music that I had playing when I heard the front door slam. I put my paint roller down and went downstairs and saw Nick. He was mad. "Nick, what's wrong," I said. "I hate the guys, I hate Fatima, I hate them all," Nick said angrily. "What happened?" I asked. "They said I was fat, that I need to lose weight!" Nick said. "Nick, honey, calm down, you are not fat, okay, I'm fat, but you aren't, not to me anyway," I said. He came over to me. "You think I'm fat!" Nick said. "No, I don't, Nick," I said. "Yes, you do!" Nick said angrily. "Nick, I don't think you're fat!" I said. "I can see it, you do think I'm fat!" Nick said. "Nick," I said. "Admit it!" Nick yelled. "Don't yell at me!" I said. He got his keys. "Where are you going!" I said. "Somewhere where I can breathe!" Nick yelled slamming the door behind him. I stood there. I sat down and felt tears in my eyes. Three days later, I was worried. Nick never came home. He hadn't called. I called Brian. "Hello," Brian said. "Brian, it's Bri, have you seen Nick?" I asked. "No, I haven't, not since he stormed out of the studio," Brian said. "I know, he came home and told me about it, then we got into a fight and he left, I haven't seen him since, he hasn't called, Brian, I'm worried and scared," I said. "I'll go find him, Bri, okay, just stay calm and stay by the phone, okay, I'll call when I find him, okay," Brian said. "Bye," I said. I hung up and sat there. I went upstairs and went back to painting the nursery. An hour later, the phone rang. I grabbed it. "Hello," I said. "Bri, I found him, he's at his parents, he's scared to come home, he feels guilty because he yelled at you, he knows he never yelled at you and it scared him," Brian said. "Where is he now?" I asked. "He's coming home," Brian said. "Thanks, Brian," I said. "And I apologized to him for calling him fat, I'll talk to you guys later, okay," Brian said. "Bye, Brian," I said. I hung up. I heard the front door open and close. I continued painting. I heard his footsteps coming up the stairs and I heard them stop. I turned my head and saw him standing at the door. "Can we talk?" Nick asked. "Why," I said as I painted. "Bri, please," Nick said. I looked at him and put the roller down and went out the door and downstairs. He sat down beside me. He took my hand in his. "Sweetie, I'm sorry for yellig at you, I was just angry at Fatima and the guys and I didn't mean to take it out on you, I love you so much," Nick said. "It really hurt me, Nick, when you yelled at me and when you didn't come home for three days, I was worried sick about you," I said. "I know, Brian told me, I was scared, I never yelled at you and it scared me, I felt all this guilt and I couldn't shake it, I'm so sorry, baby," Nick said. "I forgive you, if you promise to never yell at me again," I said. "I promise," Nick said. We kissed. "Now, want to help me paint?" I asked getting up. "Paint what," Nick said. "The nursery, silly," I said. He smiled and put his hand on my stomach. "I'm so happy right now, Bri," Nick said. "Me, too," I said. He kissed my stomach and we went up and painted the nursery. Later that night, Nick and I sat in the living room, cuddled up in front of the TV. We were watching Lethal Weapon 4. I felt Nick kiss my forehead. "I don't ever want to lose you," Nick said. Chapter 15

Three weeks later, I was seven months along and loving it. Jane was over helping me decorate the nursery. Bob and Nick went to a football game. I heard the doorbell ring. I went down and opened the door and saw Amy standing there with a bag and Gracie. "Amy, what's wrong?" I asked. "Brian's been having an affair, with his ex, Leighanne, I left him, he begged and pleaded for me not to but I did, I'm going back to Missouri, I came to say goodbye," Amy said. "What about Brian, will he be able to see Gracie?" I asked. "No, not after what he did," Amy said. "Amy, she's his daughter, he has a right to see her," I said. "Bri, it's my decision, he shouldn't have had the affair, he really hurt me, you better make sure Nick isn't cheating on you, because Brian and Nick do everything together, goodbye, Bri, I'll miss you, I'll call you once I get to my mother's place," Amy said. We hugged. I kissed Gracie's forehead and she left. I closed the door. Jane came downstairs. "Who was that, Bri?" Jane asked. "Amy, she's going back to Missouri," I said. "To visit," Jane said. "No, she left Brian and is going back to stay," I said. "Why?" Jane asked. "She said that Brian had an affair with Leighanne, Amy took Gracie and left him, she won't let him see Gracie," I said. "That's not right," Jane said. "I know, what's worse, she told me that I better make sure that Nick is not having an affair, since he and Brian do everything together," I said. "Nonsense, Nick loves you and he's really happy, I never seen him this happy," Jane said. Nick and Bob came in. I told them the story. I pulled him out back. I sat him down and looked at him. "Nick, are you having an affair and don't lie to me," I said. "No, I'm not, baby girl, I love you so much, I would rather die than live without you," Nick said. He gently pulled me down in his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you," I said. "I love you, too, there is no reason whatsoever for me to have an affair, I have the perfect life, the perfect job, I have a beautiful and sexy wife, who is seven months pregnant with my child, the best family ever, and the best friends, I couldn't ask for anything better, Amy is just upset, and I can understand that, I knew about the affair, Brian begged me to keep it a secret, even from you, because you are Amy's best friend and you two tell each other everything, I wanted to tell you and I begged him to break it off but he had to find out how he felt, he doesn't love Leighanne, he loves Amy and Gracie, they are his life and he doesn't want to live without them, it's too late, she's gone and took Gracie with her, do you think I better go see how he's doing?" Nick asked. "He is your best friend, he'll probably need you," I said. I got up and he stood up and pulled me close. "I'll be back soon, baby, I love you," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. He kissed my lips softly and left. I went inside and Jane and I continued with the nursery.
Meanwhile at Brian's house......
Brian laid on the couch, crying and feeling emptiness. He heard the door open and close and he sat up and saw Nick come in. "Hey Frick, you okay?" Nick asked sitting down beside him. "No, Frack, I lost my wife and child because of something so stupid!" Brian said. "I know," Nick said. "How do you know?" Brian asked. "Bri told me, Amy stopped by and said goodbye and told her the story, Amy told Bri that she's not going to let you see Gracie ever again," Nick said. "Did Amy tell Bri where she was going?" Brian asked. "Amy is going back to Missouri to stay with her mother, Amy is suppose to call Bri when she gets there, I can see if I can talk to her if you want me to," Nick said. "Could you, maybe she'll talk to you," Brian said. "I'll talk to Amy, okay, I'll explain everything, okay," Nick said. "Thanks man," Brian said. "What are best friends for," Nick said. He hugged Brian and left. Brian sat there thinking to himself, will he survive without Amy and Gracie?

Chapter 16

Nick arrived back home and saw his mother heading out the door. "Bye Mom," Nick said. "Nick, how's Brian?" Jane asked. "A mess, I don't know if he will survive this," Nick said. "I'll go over there, okay," Jane said. "If you want to," Nick said. "Bye sweetie," Jane said kissing his cheek and hugging him and left. Nick went into the house and saw Bri sitting on the couch with her feet propped up. She was looking at her feet. "Hey honey," Nick said. "How's Brian?" I asked as he sat down beside me. "Not so good, he's really upset and a mess, my mom went to see him," Nick said. "Are my feet ugly?" I asked looking at them. "No, why?" Nick said. "This is the only way I can see my feet without my stomach in the way, I was trying to see if they were ugly or nice," I said. "Your feet are fine, sweetheart," Nick said. "Okay," I said. "When Amy calls, I want to talk to her, okay," Nick said. "Okay, maybe she'll listen to you," I said. "Yeah, I'm telling her the whole story," Nick said. "I hope she listens and comes back, Brian needs her and Gracie," I said. The doorbell rang. Nick got up and opened the door and saw Brian. He came in. "Brian," I said. He sat down and hugged me. "It'll be okay, B, we're here for you," I said. "I love Amy, so much, and Gracie, my little angel," Brian said. "Amy hasn't called yet, when she does, I'll let Nick talk to her," I said. "I want her and Gracie, no one else," Brian said. "We'll get her back here," I said. The phone rang. I picked it up. "Hello," I said. "Bri, it's me, I'm at my mother's," Amy said. "Amy, come home," I said. "I am home now, Bri, I can't go back to him," Amy said. I handed the phone to Nick. "Amy, it's Nick, listen to what I have to say, okay, and don't hang up on me, okay, because afterwards I'm going to hand the phone back to Bri, okay, allright, now, I want to tell you a story," Nick said. He told her the story. "Are you still there? Okay, now please come home, Amy, Brian needs you and Gracie, he doesn't care about Leighanne, she can go to hell for all he cares, he loves you and Gracie, you two are his life and without you, he can't go on, I know him, Amy, I've known him longer than you, he loves you, he's falling apart right now, Amy, he needs you to put it back together, he won't do it again, he would rather die than ever hurt you again, Amy, please come home, yeah, here," Nick said handing the phone to me. "Amy," I said. "Is what Nick said true?" Amy asked. "Yes, Amy, everything is true," I said. "I'm coming home, with Gracie, where's Brian?" Amy asked. "He's here, Amy," I said. "Let him stay there and I'll come there, okay, keep him there, okay, I'll see ya, bye," Amy said. "Bye," I said. I hung up and looked at the guys and smiled. "She's coming home," I said. "Allright, Nick!" Brian said. "She's coming here," I said. "What," Brian said. "She wants you to stay here and she'll come here, okay," I said. "Thanks Bri," Brian said. He hugged me. "What are friends for?" I asked. "You two are my best friends, I love you both," Brian said. "And we love you," Nick said. We all hugged. That night, Brian was in a spare bedroom and Nick and I were in our room in bed. "I love you, honey," Nick said. "I love you, too," I said. He kissed my forehead and we went to sleep holding each other.

Chapter 17

The next morning, I woke up and felt pain in my stomach. I sat up and the pain got worse. I put my hand on my stomach and winced. I looked over at Nick. I shook him. "Nick, wake up, now," I said. He woke up. "What is it," Nick said. "Something's wrong," I said crying. "The baby?" Nick asked. "Yes," I said. He got up and put some clothes on and helped me up. He knocked on Brian's door. Brian opened the door. "Come on, Frick," Nick said. Brian put his clothes on and followed us. "What's going on?" Brian asked. "The baby, something's wrong," Nick said. They took me to the hospital. Dr. Kelly examined me. Brian called the guys. Kevin, Kristen, AJ, and Howie came to the hospital. They sat in the waiting room. Nick came out crying. "Nick, what's wrong, man," Brian said. "She's in labor, they can't stop it, they are performing a C-section, I couldn't stay with her, she's scared, Brian, she needs me and they won't let me be in there with her!" Nick said crying. Brian hugged him. They sat down. Nick stared at the floor and prayed. Brian's cell phone rang. "Hello, Amy, honey, we're at the hospital, it's Bri, she's in labor, she's in there right now, okay, see ya," Brian said. "Is she coming?" Nick asked. "Yeah," Brian said. Ten minutes later, Amy and Gracie came into the waiting room. Brian ran to them and hugged them. Brian took Gracie and Amy went over to Nick. "Nick," Amy said. "I'm scared, Amy, Bri needs me, but they won't let me be with her," Nick said. "She knows where you are, just have to wait, okay, you aren't alone, we all are here and we aren't leaving," Amy said. Nick looked at the floor. Amy hugged him. She sat down next to Brian and they talked quietly. AJ sat next to Nick. "Where's Amanda?" Nick asked. "We broke up last night, she's packing her things and is moving out," AJ said. Dr. Kelly came out. They all stood up. "Bri's in the recovery room, she'll be fine," Dr. Kelly said. "What about the baby?" Nick asked. "The baby is in ICU on life support, you have a boy, we will keep a close eye on him, it's too early to tell if he'll make it, but we won't give up," Dr. Kelly said. "Dr. Kelly, do what you can, Bri and I can't lose another baby," Nick said. "We know, and we won't give up," Dr. Kelly said. She went to the desk. Nick looked at everyone. "I have a son," Nick said. The guys hugged him. Nick went to the nursery in ICU and looked for the baby. He saw an incubator with Carter on it. He saw the baby. Brian came up to him. "There he is, Frick, he's so tiny," Nick said. "Pray, Nick, we all have to pray for him to make it," Brian said. "I'm praying, Frick, double time, if we lose this baby, I don't know what me and Bri will do," Nick said. "You can't give up hope, Nick," Brian said. "I won't," Nick said. He went to Bri's room. He saw her asleep. He sat down and took her hand. She woke up and saw him. "Nick," I said. "Hey honey, I'll be right here," Nick said. "Where's the baby?" I asked. "He's in ICU on life support, he's still alive, Dr. Kelly won't give up on him, I won't either," Nick said. "It's a boy, what should we name him?" I asked. "How about Jason," Nick said. "Jason Robert Carter," I said. Nick smiled. "Perfect," Nick said. "I'm so tired," I said. "Get some rest, honey," Nick said. "Okay," I said. I closed my eyes. Nick watched her sleep and he hoped and prayed the baby will make it.

Chapter 18

Two days later, I was sitting in the nursery looking at Jason through the incubiator. Nick was with me. "He's so tiny," I said. "I know," Nick said. "What if he doesn't make it, Nick, I couldn't handle that," I said with tears in my eyes. "Honey, we have to pray, for him, we can't give up hope," Nick said. "You two have nothing to worry about, he'll be fine, he's gaining weight," Dr. Kelly said. "Really," I said. "We ran some tests, I just got them back, he'll be fine," Dr. Kelly said. "I can't believe it," I said as Nick hugged me. "Miracles do happen," Dr. Kelly said. "Yes, they do," I said. Three days later, Jason was brought into my room and I held him in my arms and smiled. Nick sat on the bed beside me and we watched him. "Our little miracle," I said. "Hey little guy, I'm your Daddy," Nick said. I looked up at Nick. He looked at me and kissed my forehead. "I love you," I said. "I love you, too," Nick said. The door opened and Brian, Amy, Gracie, Kevin, Kristen, AJ, and Howie came in. "Hey, there's our nephew," Brian said coming over to the bed. "He is so cute," Amy said. "Hey!" Nick said. "Nickolas!" I said. "Okay, he is cute," Nick said. We all watched the baby. Three days later, Nick brought me and Jason home. We put him in the nursery. I stood there watching him. Nick wrapped his arms around me. "Our little miracle baby," Nick said. "Yes, I'm so happy, Nick," I said. "Let's go to bed, honey," Nick said. We went to our bedroom and we went to bed holding each other.

It's been four years since Jason's birth and we were so happy. Jason was four and acting like his father, pulling pranks on everyone. I was five months pregnant with our second child.

Brian and Amy are deeply in love and are enjoying each other's company. No more affairs and cheating. They are really happy. Gracie is four, also, and she is adorable. Amy is five months pregnant with their second child.

AJ found a girl, her name is Sarah, we have welcomed her into the Backstreet Family. She is so right for AJ and they are really happy.

Kevin and Kristen are as happy as can be. Kristen is seven months pregnant with their first child and Kevin is really excited.

Howie has found a girl, also, her name is Claudia. They are perfect for each other. Claudia, also, has become a member of the Backstreet Family.

The guys thought about breaking up but decided to stay together. They kept making music and going on tours. I know they will never give it up for anything.

I put my career to rest in order to stay home with Jason and the new baby. As much as I enjoyed it, I would rather be with mine and Nick's kids.
