Nick sat in his room staring at a picture of his girlfriend, Brizee. They have known each other ever since they were babies and they have been best friends and they started dating two years before. They were juniors in high school. He looked up and saw his best friend, Brian, come in.
       “Hey Frack,” Brian said.
       “Hey,” Nick said.
Brizee and Brian’s girlfriend, Michelle, were currently in Europe on a trip for school.
       “You okay, man?” Brian asked.
       “I miss Briz,” Nick said.
       “I know what you mean, man, I miss Michelle, but they will be back next week,” Brian said.
       “I can’t wait, I just want to hold Briz in my arms,” Nick said.
       “Nick, have you two slept together?” Brian asked.
       “No, you know my parents and her parents are against it because they believe in sex after marriage, so no, we haven’t,” Nick said.
       “Neither have me and Michelle, our parents are against it, too,” Brian said.
       “God, Brian, I love Briz, I want to show her just how much I love her,” Nick said.
       “I don’t think so, Nickolas,” Jane said standing at the doorway.
       “Mom,” Nick said.
       “You are not going to have sex in high school, not until after you are married,” Jane said.
       “Why are you so against it, it’s not your life, it’s mine!” Nick said. Jane glared at her oldest son.
       “Nickolas, don’t talk to me that way, I am your mother, and you will listen to me,” Jane said.
       “I have been with Briz for two years and I have known her since I was a baby, so have you, why can’t it be different!” Nick said. Jane looked at her son.
       “Nick, if you have sex, she’ll get pregnant and you will have a baby to take care of, you guys are in school, you haven’t graduated yet, I want you to get a college education and a good job and then you can do what you want,” Jane said.
       “Mom, if I have sex now, I will make sure there is protection,” Nick said.
       “Nick, no, end of story, no sex until you are married, and you are only 16!” Jane said.
       “So what, I love Brizee!” Nick said angrily.
       “I know you do, and we love her, too, you two can do everything except have sex, okay, be thankful we are letting you two date and letting her sleep over here with you,” Jane said. She left the room. Nick looked at Brian.
       “See,” Nick said.
       “Man, she really is against it,” Brian said.
       “I know, try Brizee’s parents, they are worse, they said if me and Briz have sex, I will never see Briz again,” Nick said.
       “Damn,” Brian said.
       “Yeah, I mean, they let her sleep over here and stuff but if they find out that me and her have sex, they will ban me from seeing her and talking to her, they will send her off to boarding school,” Nick said.
       “I think you better listen and wait,” Brian said.
       “Yeah, I can’t lose Briz, Brian, I just can’t, I can’t bear the thought of being without her,” Nick said.
       “I know, same here, with Michelle, god, being with her is amazing, I can’t bear the thought of losing her,” Brian said. The phone rang. Nick reached over and grabbed it.
       “Hello,” Nick said.
       “Hey honey!” Brizee said.
       “Hey baby girl, I miss you,” Nick said.
       “I miss you, too, honey, Michelle and I are having so much fun, I got you something,” Brizee said.
       “You did, what is it?” Nick asked.
       “You will see when I get back, god, Nick, it’s so beautiful here, we are in Paris, I wish you were in here and I want to be in your arms so bad,” Brizee said.
       “I want you in my arms, I just want to hold you, I miss you so much, baby girl,” Nick said.
       “I love you, Nicky,” Brizee said.
       “I love you, too, baby girl,” Nick said.
       “Tell Brian that Michelle said that she loves him and she’ll call him later,” Brizee said.
       “Okay, I will, god, I wish I was with you right now, I just got chewed out by my mother again,” Nick said.
       “What now,” Brizee said.
       “It’s nothing, I made a smart-ass comment about something and I get yelled at,” Nick said.
       “Nicky, I have to go, I’ll call you tomorrow, okay,” Brizee said. Nick smiled.
       “Okay, baby girl, I love you,” Nick said.
       “I love you, too, honey, bye,” Brizee said.
       “Bye,” Nick said. He hung up and held his hand on the receiver.
       “Nick,” Brian said.
       “Michelle said she loves you and she’ll call you later,” Nick said. He laid on the bed.
       “Nick, they will be back next week, and you can hold her all you want,” Brian said.
       “I just miss her so much,” Nick said.
       “I miss Michelle, anyways, man, I gotta go, see you in school tomorrow,” Brian said.
       “Okay,” Nick said. Brian went out the door. Nick stared at the ceiling and thought of everything.

Chapter 2

A week later, Nick and Brian were at school, hanging out. Nick stood at his locker. Hands covered his eyes.
       “Guess who,” a familiar voice said.
       “Um, my lover?” Nick asked.
       “What!” they said. He smiled and turned and saw Brizee standing there.
       “Hey girl, I knew it was you,” Nick said. Brizee hugged him.
       “I missed you so much,” Brizee said.
       “I missed you, too, baby girl,” Nick said.
       “Michelle and I get to go home and rest since we just got back,” Brizee said.
       “Okay,” Nick said.
       “Meet me at our spot tonight,” Brizee said.
       “Okay,” Nick said. She hugged him and left with Michelle. Nick went to class.
That night, he went to the beach to their spot. It was secluded and no one knew about it but him and Brizee. He walked there and saw her sitting there. She saw him and got up and ran to him and jumped on him and kissed him hungrily. They collapsed on the sand and began making out.
       “God I missed this,” Brizee said as Nick began kissing her neck. She held him close.
       “I love you,” Nick said.
       “I love you, too,” Brizee said.
       “I will do anything to hold onto you,” Nick said.
       “Nicky, you will never lose me,” Brizee said.
       “I know the parents’ told us no sex until marriage,” Nick said.
       “I know, I can’t help it, though, I think about wanting it all the time, even though we never did it,” Brizee said.
       “I have been thinking about it, too,” Nick said. They kissed hungrily.
       “Should we do it, should we defy our parents and have sex?” Brizee asked.
       “I have been thinking, senior prom,” Nick said.
       “Oh, that night,” Brizee said.
       “Yup, I have been dreaming of making love to you on prom night,” Nick said.
       “I can’t wait, but that’s a year away,” Brizee said.
       “I know,” Nick said.
       “What if we drift apart,” Brizee said.
       “We won’t, baby girl, I love you so much, I could never let you go,” Nick said.
       “Promise?” Brizee asked.
       “I promise with all my heart and soul,” Nick said. They continued kissing and soon headed to their homes.

Chapter 3

A year later…
Brizee walked down the hall to her locker. She opened it and saw all the pictures of her and Nick. They recently broke up and he was now dating someone new. Michelle came up to her.
       “Briz?” Michelle said. She saw the pics.
       “Oh Briz,” Michelle said.
       “He said we would never drift apart, he said he would never let me go, what went wrong,” Brizee said leaning against the lockers. She saw Nick coming down the hall with his new girlfriend. She turned and got her stuff out of her locker. Brian came up to them.
       “You okay?” Brian asked. Brizee watched as Nick and his new girlfriend kissed at Nick’s locker. Brizee closed her locker and went to the gym. She was in the locker room changing when Nick’s girlfriend came in.
       “Hello, Brizee,” Mandy said.
       “Hi,” Brizee said.
       “Thanks for breaking up with Nick, I’ve always had a crush on him,” Mandy said.
       “He broke up with me, Mandy,” Brizee said coldly.
       “Whatever, I’m happy with him, he is a great kisser, and awesome in bed,” Mandy said. With that, she walked off. Brizee stood there. She sat on the bench and felt her heart break. Michelle came in and saw her.
       “Briz,” Michelle said.
       “He slept with her, she said he was awesome in bed, they slept together,” Brizee said.
       “Oh god,” Michelle said.
       “I can’t believe this, it’s almost prom night, how can I go, I don’t have a boyfriend or a date,” Brizee said crying.
       “You can come with me and Brian,” Michelle said.
       “Thanks, but I just won’t go,” Brizee said.

Chapter 4

Two nights later, it was prom night and Brizee was home curled up in front of the TV with movies.
       “Brizee, honey, aren’t you going to prom?” Laura asked.
       “No, Mom, I’m staying home, I don’t have a date, and I will not go and watch Nick dance with Mandy,” Brizee said.
       “Honey, it’s your Senior prom,” Laura said.
       “So, there is no reason to go,” Brizee said.
       “Michelle and Brian,” Laura said.
       “They will be going together, I don’t need to be a tag along, it’s their night to be together, I have no one,” Brizee said.
       “Honey, it’s your last prom night,” Laura said.
       “And I said I didn’t want to go,” Brizee said. Laura shook her head and went to the kitchen where her husband was.
       “Is she going?” Steve asked.
       “No,” Laura said.
       “I wish she and Nick didn’t break up, I hate seeing her like this,” Steve said.
       “I talked to Jane, she said that Nick is dating some girl named Mandy, a week after he broke up with Brizee,” Laura said.
       “I can’t believe it, how could he hurt our daughter like this,” Steve said.
       “Briz said they drifted apart,” Laura said.
       “I just hope she doesn’t going into a depression,” Steve said.
       “I know,” Laura said.
Meanwhile…at the prom…
Brian and Michelle walked into the room. Brian saw Nick at the punch bowl. He went over to Nick.
       “Hey Nick,” Brian said.
       “Hey, Brian, how is everything,” Nick said.
       “Fine, how are you,” Brian said.
       “I’m okay, I guess,” Nick said.
       “You okay?” Brian asked.
       “Um, is Briz coming tonight?” Nick said.
       “No, Michelle said that Brizee told her she was staying home and watching movies, she tried to get Briz to come but Briz told her that she didn’t want to come without a date, and she didn’t want to be alone here,” Brian said.
       “I broke up with Mandy, that was a mistake, she told everyone that we slept together, I never slept with her,” Nick said.
       “Michelle said that Mandy told Briz that you two slept together,’ Brian said.
       “I have to go to Briz, god, man, I screwed up, I never should have broken up with her,” Nick said.
       “Go, man, and bring her back so you two can enjoy the night!” Brian said. Nick ran out. Michelle came over to him.
       “Brian?” Michelle said.
       “He’s going after Briz, he wants her back, he broke up with Mandy, she lied, baby, she and Nick never slept together,” Brian said. Michelle smiled.
       “I’m calling Briz and telling her Nick’s on his way and to get ready to come here,” Michelle said. She went to call Brizee.
Meanwhile…
       “You mean he’s coming here to take me to the prom and he wants me back,” Brizee said.
       “Yes, Briz, and he never slept with Mandy, she lied about that, he’s still yours, I’ll see you when you get here, okay,” Michelle said. Brizee smiled.
       “I better go find my dress, I can’t believe this, my dreams are coming true, I am getting him back, he’s mine, all mine,” Brizee said grinning.
       “He is all yours, Briz, don’t let him go this time, he is your man,”
Michelle said.
       “I never stopped loving him,” Brizee said. The doorbell rang.
       “Oh, that’s him, I better go get ready, see you,” Brizee said. She hung up and went to the door and opened it and saw Nick. He stepped in and kissed her hungrily. She held him close.
       “Briz, god, I’m so sorry, I never stopped loving you and I never want to let you go again,” Nick said.
       “I know, I know, Michelle called me and told me everything, if you wait here, I’ll go get ready,” Brizee said.
       “So you’ll take me back?” Nick asked.
       “Yes, and I’m never letting you go again,” Brizee said. Nick smiled and hugged her.

Chapter 5

Nick sat there waiting for Brizee to come down the stairs. Steve came in and saw him.
       “Nick?” Steve asked.
       “Hi,” Nick said.
       “What are you doing here?” Steve asked.
       “Brizee and I are back together, I am taking her to the prom,” Nick said.
       “Please don’t ever break up with my daughter again,” Steve said. Nick looked at him.
       “I won’t, I promise this time, we are going to be together forever, she is the one for me,” Nick said. Steve smiled.
       “Good,” Steve said.
       “Oh, everyone is getting hotel rooms so we can just go up to the rooms instead of driving home,” Nick said.
       “Okay,” Steve said. The doorbell rang. Steve opened it and saw Brian and Michelle. They came in and saw Nick.
       “You are a liar, Nick, you never broke up with Mandy, did you!” Michelle said.
       “I did!” Nick said standing up.
       “Really, then how come she was looking for you and telling us you two had a room at the hotel,” Michelle said.
       “She’s lying,” Nick said.
       “Tell me the truth, Nick, you never lied to me,” Brian said.
       “I am telling the truth, Brian, okay, Brizee is the one for me, I love her with everything in me, okay, I’m not going to let her go again!” Nick said.
       “You sure about that,” Michelle said.
       “About what, how I feel, yes I am, I love Brizee!” Nick said. He looked at the stairs and saw Brizee come downstairs dressed in her prom dress. He stood there staring at her. He went over to her.
       “You look absolutely beautiful, gorgeous,” Nick said.
       “Thank you,” Brizee said smiling up at him.
       “This is our night, Brizee,” Nick said.
       “Yes it is,” Brizee said. They all went to the prom. Nick and Brizee went on the dance floor and danced.
       “I do have a room for tonight, I was going to stay there by myself, we could share it if you want to,” Nick said.
       “I thought tonight was going to be the big night for us,” Brizee said. Nick smiled.
       “You remember,” Nick said.
       “Yeah,” Brizee said.
       “I didn’t think you would, after everything that has happened,” Nick said.
       “I never stopped thinking about it, I thought about the day that you would want me back,” Brizee said. Nick smiled and hugged her close as they danced.
       “Nick, I have to ask, but did you get back together with me, just for tonight so you can have your first time?” Brizee whispered. Nick pulled back and looked at her.
       “Briz,” Nick said.
       “It’s true, isn’t it, you just want to do it tonight, and then that’s it,” Brizee said.
       “Brizee,” Nick said.
       “No, I get it, Nick, it’s just for tonight, and then it’s back to Mandy, I get it, you know what, have fun,” Brizee said. She walked off. Michelle went after her.
       “Brizee,” Michelle said.
       “He just wanted to get me into bed,” Brizee said.
       “Briz, he does love you,” Michelle said. They heard the music stop and Nick’s voice.
       “This song is dedicated to Brizee, I love you, Brizee,” Nick said. He sung Clay Aiken’s song, Invisible. She looked at Michelle. Michelle nodded. After Nick was done, he came offstage and walked over to her. Everyone watched as Brizee ran into his arms and they kissed deeply.

Chapter 6

After prom was over, Nick and Brizee went up to the hotel room. She walked in and her eyes widened. She felt him hug her from behind. She smiled.
       “I love you,” Nick said kissing her neck.
       “I love you, too,” Brizee said.
       “Do you want to do this now or wait until marriage,” Nick said. Brizee stood there thinking.
       “What if we waited, would you wait that long?” Brizee asked.
       “I would wait forever for you,” Nick said.
       “I want you now, Nick, make love to me, please,” Brizee said. He picked her up and laid her on the bed and laid on top of her. They slowly removed each other’s clothes and he gently made love to her. Afterwards, they laid there holding each other.
       “I love you so much, baby girl, there is no way I’m letting you go again,” Nick said. Brizee sat up.
       “Nick, there was no protection,” Brizee said.
       “Dammit!” Nick said covering his face.
       “Maybe I won’t get pregnant,” Brizee said.
       “Briz, if you get pregnant, your parents won’t let us see each other, and my parents will do the same,” Nick said.
       “If I get pregnant, I will hide it, I will be going away to college so that will work,” Brizee said.
       “You are going away?” Nick asked.
       “Yeah, I’m going to University of Miami,” Brizee said.
       “I’m going to University of Florida,” Nick said.
       “I’ll be in Miami, and you will be in Gainsville,” Brizee said.
       “Yeah, man,” Nick said.
       “How about you come with me to the University of Miami, you can transfer,” Brizee said.
       “How about you going to the University of Florida with me,” Nick said.
       “Gotcha, Nicky, I am going there so we will be going together, we can get an apartment off campus, I got one reserved,” Brizee said.
       “I just want to be with you,” Nick said. There was knocking at the door. They got up and got dressed and straightened up and Nick opened the door and saw his parents.
       “Mom, Dad,” Nick said. Brizee quickly made the bed and came up behind him.
       “Hi Jane, Bob,” Brizee said.
       “Are you two back together?” Jane asked.
       “Yeah,” Brizee said. Jane hugged her.
       “Thank god, we are so glad,” Jane said.
       “Is everything okay?” Nick asked.
       “Yeah, honey, we just wanted to make sure you were okay and we thought you would be alone, but since Brizee is here, we won’t be worried, take care, honey,” Jane said hugging her son. She and Bob left. Nick closed the door and locked it and hugged her.
       “I don’t want them to hate me if I get pregnant,” Brizee said.
       “I heard something about the day after pill,” Nick said.
       “I have to go to the doctor for it,” Brizee said.
       “I have an idea,” Nick said.
       “What,” Brizee said.
       “Let’s secretly get married,” Nick asid.
       “What,” Brizee said.
       “We are 18, we can get married, we can secretly be married and if you get pregnant, we can tell our parents,” Nick said
       “Nick, are you crazy,” Brizee said.
       “Baby, if you get pregnant, our parents will separate us, if we get
married, they can’t do anything about it,” Nick said.
       “I don’t know, Nick, what if I won’t get pregnant, what then,” Brizee said.
       “We be together,” Nick said.
       “Nick, I don’t want to talk about this anymore, okay,” Brizee said. She laid down on the bed. He laid down beside her.
       “I love you, no matter what,” Nick said.
       “I love you, too,” Brizee said. They held each other as they went to sleep.

Chapter 7

Three weeks later, Nick, Brizee, Brian, and Michelle graduated from high school. Nick and Brian got asked to join a music group with three other guys. Brizee just found out she was pregnant and told Michelle. Michelle swore she wouldn’t tell anyone. Nick came over and told her the news about him and Brian and the music group. She told him she was pregnant. He hugged her.
       “What do we do, Nick,” Brizee said.
       “We will deal with this together,” Nick said.
       “My parents will kill me,” Brizee said.
       “So will mine,” Nick said. The front door opened and Laura and Steve came in.
       “Hi honey, hi Nick,” Laura said hugging them.
       “Hi Mom, hi Dad,” Brizee said.
       “Hi Laura, Steve,” Nick said.
       “Everything okay?” Laura asked.
       “Yeah,” Nick said.
       “No,” Brizee said as she started to cry and Nick held her.
       “Brizee, what’s wrong,” Steve said. They sat down. Nick sat down and held her hand as she told them everything. She looked at her parents.
       “Honey, we don’t hate you, you two are in love, and didn’t want to wait,” Laura said.
       “We know Nick would never abandon you,” Steve said.
       “I love her with all my heart and soul,” Nick said.
       “We can tell, Nick, by the way you two look at each other,” Laura said.
       “We have to tell my parents,” Nick said.
       “If you need anything, we are here for you,” Laura said.
       “Mom, Dad, are you sure?” Brizee asked.
       “Yes, honey,” Laura said. Nick and Brizee went to his house. They walked in and saw his parents sitting there. They sat down.
       “Mom, Dad, we have to talk to you,” Nick said.
       “What is it, honey,” Jane said. Nick told them everything. Brizee sat there staring at her hands.
       “Mom, Dad, Brizee’s parents support us, they aren’t mad at us, please, don’t be mad at us,” Nick said. Jane and Bob looked at each other.
       “Why would we be mad?” Jane asked.
       “Because you were against me having sex before marriage,” Nick said.
       “We were, but not anymore, we know you two are in love,” Jane said.
       “We want to get married, before I leave for Europe,” Nick said.
       “We can get that done,” Jane said.
       “Mom, Dad, thank you, I just can’t be without Briz,” Nick said holding her close.
       “And I can’t be without him,” Brizee said leaning against him.

Chapter 8

(Okay, I know you all hate it when I have dreams in my stories, but it's only so that I won't have to start the story all over again and get everyone confused like how it will go from this to this and it wouldn't make sense. So it's back to Chapter 3 and I'm going to put a little of Chapter 3 and continue from there!)

A year later…
Brizee walked down the hall to her locker. She opened it and saw all the pictures of her and Nick. They recently broke up and he was now dating someone new. Michelle came up to her.
       “Briz?” Michelle said. She saw the pics.
       “Oh Briz,” Michelle said.
       “He said we would never drift apart, he said he would never let me go, what went wrong,” Brizee said leaning against the lockers. She saw Nick coming down the hall with his new girlfriend. She turned and got her stuff out of her locker. Brian came up to them.
       “You okay?” Brian asked. Brizee watched as Nick and his new girlfriend kissed at Nick’s locker. Brizee closed her locker and leaned against it.

       "Just peachy," Brizee said. She went to her next class and bumped into someone. She looked up and saw Nick.

       "Sorry," Brizee said walking around him and went to class. She sat down in her seat. She saw Nick come in and sit down in his seat beside her. She forgot that they were lab partners. He slipped a note to her. She opened it and read it.

'Prom night is coming up, meet me in room 5889 at midnight'

Brizee looked at him. He looked at her and she held the note. He nodded and smiled at her and winked at her.  After school, Brizee showed Michelle the note.

       “He might want you back, Briz,” Michelle said.

       “I don’t know, he’s still with Mandy,” Brizee said.

       “Just go to the room like the note says and see for yourself,” Michelle said. Brizee nodded and went home. She saw her house up for sale and she walked in and saw the house empty except her stuff. She saw a note.

‘Dear Brizee,

We had to move away. I’m sorry, honey, but we had to do this. To protect you from us. Something went wrong and people were coming for us so we had to leave. We set up a trust fund for you and Jane and Bob are in charge of it and are your guardians and you will be living with them. I know you and Nick broke up but they are your guardians. We gave up our rights and made them your legal guardians. We love you, honey, and always will. Mom’

She gathered her stuff up and put it in her car and checked everything and went to the Carters’. Jane and Nick came out. Jane hugged her.

Chapter 9

Three weeks later, it was prom night. Brizee stood in front of the mirror in her and BJ’s room.

       “Briz, you look great,” BJ said.

       “Yeah, for someone who doesn’t have a date,” Brizee said.

       “So, you will turn heads and all the guys will want to dance with you,” BJ said.

       “Except one,” Brizee said.

       “I know Nick will never stop loving you,” BJ said.

       “I miss him, as my boyfriend,” Brizee said.

       “Maybe someday you two will get back together,” BJ said.

       “Yeah, maybe,” Brizee said. She went downstairs and saw Brian and Michelle waiting.

       “Thanks for letting me come with you guys,” Brizee said.

       “Hey, at least you are coming to the prom, we don’t mind,” Michelle said hugging her. Brian kissed her cheek. They went to the prom. They walked in and looked around. Brizee saw Nick and Mandy dancing. She went over to the punch bowl.

       “Hi Brizee,” Mrs. Jackson said standing there.

       “Hi Mrs. Jackson,” Brizee said.

       “Would you like some punch?” Mrs. Jackson asked.

       “Did anyone spike it?” Brizee asked.

       “No, no one has came over here to get any punch yet, and I’ve been here since everyone started coming in,” Mrs. Jackson said.

       “Yeah, I’ll have some punch,” Brizee said.

Nick and Mandy were dancing. Brian came over to them.

       “Hi you two,” Brian said.

       “Hi Brian,” Mandy said.

       “Hi B,” Nick said.

       “Enjoying yourselves?” Brian asked.

       “Yeah, so where’s Michelle?” Nick said.

       “Over at the punch bowl with Briz, she didn’t want Briz to be alone,” Brian said. Nick looked over and saw Brizee sipping some punch and talking to Michelle.

       “She really cleaned up her act,” Mandy said.

       “What do you mean,” Nick said.

       “I heard around school that Brizee was drinking and doing drugs,” Mandy said.

       “And who said this?” Nick asked.

       “It’s just around school,” Mandy said.

       “I never heard that and Michelle hasn’t either,” Brian said.

       “I never heard about it,” Nick said.

       “Well, it’s true, she started after you broke up with her,” Mandy said. Nick pulled away.

       “No, Brizee wouldn’t do that, I know she wouldn’t,” Nick said. Mandy looked at him.

       “All the guys are talking about it,” Mandy said.

       “Brizee doesn’t do drugs or drink, I know she doesn’t because Michelle would tell me, me and Michelle have been there for Brizee ever since she and Nick broke up, okay,” Brian said.

       “Whatever,” Mandy said.

       “You know what, we are over, Mandy, I can’t take it anymore, all your lies about Brizee, I know her better than anyone and she would never do anything like drink or do drugs or anything bad!” Nick said. He walked off and out of the room. Brian ran over to Brizee and told her to get up to Nick’s hotel room. She went out the door and went up to Room 5889.

Chapter 10

She knocked on the door. The door opened and Nick stood there.

       “Okay, so I’m here, now what,” Brizee said as Nick let her in. He closed the door and locked it. He came over to her and kissed her deeply. She pulled back and looked at him.

       “I want you back, Briz, I am so sorry for hurting you, I’m so sorry for breaking up with you, it was a big mistake, I never should have broken up with you,” Nick said.

       “Nick,” Brizee said.

       “I love you, Briz, I have never stopped loving you, and I know I never will, please take me back, please give me another chance, I promise this time it’s forever, you are the only one I want,” Nick said. Brizee looked at him.

       “I love you, too,” Brizee said.

       “Will you take me back?” Nick asked.

       “Yes,” Brizee said. He kissed her deeply. They collapsed on the bed and began making out. They removed each other’s clothes and were making love. He was gentle and loving and protected with the condom he had in his wallet that Brian told him to carry around to remind him that if the situation came up, to use it.  Afterwards, they laid there holding each other.

       “Oh god,” Brizee said.

       “Yeah,” Nick said.

       “Nick, no one can know, if our parents find out, it’s the end of us,” Brizee said.

       “I know, we can’t tell anyone,” Nick said. He hugged her close and they went to sleep holding each other.

The next morning, Nick took her home and they hugged and she went inside and saw her parents sitting there.

       “Hi,” Brizee said.

       “Where have you been!” Laura said.

       “At the hotel,” Brizee said.

       “You should have called us,” Steve said.

       “I know, I’m sorry, Nick and I got back together, I was with him mostly, he brought me home,” Brizee said.

       “Did anything happen?” Laura said.

       “No, we just went to sleep, that’s all,” Brizee said.

       “Okay, honey,” Laura said. Brizee went upstairs and got into the bath and sat there soaking in the water. She thought about the night before and smiled.

The next day, Brizee went to school and went to her locker. Michelle and Brian came up to her.

       “Hey girl, so what happened,” Michelle said.

       “Michelle, I told you, Nick called me and told me they got back together,” Brian said.

       “Brian’s right,” Brizee said. Michelle hugged her.

       “I’m so glad, we can double date!” Michelle said.

       “Yeah,” Brizee said.

That night, Brizee and Nick were in Nick’s room, lying on his bed, making out. Jane came in and saw them.

       “Brizee, Nick, are you hungry?” Jane said. Nick pulled back.

       “Yeah, I am, are you hungry, Briz?” Nick asked.

       “Yeah, what’s to eat?” Brizee asked.

       “Spaghetti,” Jane said.

       “Okay, we’ll be right down,” Nick said. Jane nodded and went downstairs. Nick got up and straightened up and Brizee got up and straightened up. They went downstairs to eat.

Chapter 11

After dinner was over, Nick and Brizee were back in his room, making out. Jane passed the bedroom and saw them. She saw how they were holding each other. Brizee had her hands under Nick’s shirt while Nick’s hands were roaming Brizee’s body. She went to her room and sat down. Bob came in.

       “Jane,” Bob said.

       “I think Nick and Brizee had sex, I just passed his room and saw that his hands were all over her body and hers was under his shirt,” Jane said.

       “Let’s ask them,” Bob said.

       “They will lie, just so they won’t be apart, they know what will happen if they have sex, they won’t tell the truth,” Jane said.

       “They make out a lot, they couldn’t have gone all the way, Jane, we should trust them,” Bob said.

       “I hope you are right, Bob,” Jane said. They heard Nick’s door close and lock. Jane went to the door and listened. She heard Brizee giggling and then she heard moaning. Jane heard Nick’s bed creaking. Jane knocked on the door.

       “Nickolas, what are you two doing in there?” Jane asked.

       “Nothing, Mom, we are just watching movies,” Nick said.

       “Why is the door locked?” Jane asked.

       “So the sibs will leave us alone,” Nick said.

       “Nickolas, open the door, now,” Jane said. Nick flung the door open and looked at her.

       “What is it, Mom, and you know how much I hate being called Nickolas,” Nick said.

       “Are you two having sex?” Jane asked.

       “No, we aren’t, Mom, okay, we would like to be alone to watch movies,” Nick said.

       “Are you lying to me?” Jane asked.

       “Mom, no, I’m not okay, I know what you and Dad said about sex before marriage, do you think I would want to be apart from Brizee again, we just got back together!” Nick said.

       “Okay, honey, goodnight, goodnight, Brizee,” Jane said.

       “Night Jane,” Brizee said. Jane went to her room and got ready for bed. Nick closed the door and locked it and laid down on the bed. He turned the TV on and popped in a movie and pulled Brizee close. They removed each other’s clothes and he slipped on a condom he had hidden under his pillow and they quietly made love. Afterwards they put pjs on. Brizee put the condom wrapper in her purse and laid down in his arms and they went to sleep holding each other.

Chapter 12

The next day after school, Brizee went home and put her purse down and went upstairs.

       “Brizee!” Laura called.

       “Yeah!” Brizee said.

       “Can I borrow your cell phone?” Laura asked.

       “Yeah, it’s in my purse,” Brizee said. She went into her bathroom and was getting ready to take a bath when Laura came into the bathroom.

       “What is this?” Laura asked holding up the condom wrapper.

       “Some dweeb at school thought it would be funny to put a condom over my side mirror of my car and the wrapper stuck in my car door, I must have put the wrapper in my purse to throw it away later,” Brizee said. Laura tossed it into the trash.

       “Well, it’s not funny and I hope they realize that,” Laura said.

       “I know,” Brizee said. Michelle came in.

       “Hi,” Michelle said.

       “Hi Michelle, Brizee, I’m going to the store, I’ll be back later,” Laura said. She went out the door. Brizee made sure she was gone and closed the door and put the lid down on the toilet seat and sat down. Michelle sat down on the edge of the tub.

       “Briz,” Michelle said.

       “My mom found a condom wrapper in my purse,” Brizee said.

       “How did it get there?” Michelle asked.

       “From last night, I put it there, Nick and I made love, we made love for the first time on prom night,” Brizee whispered.

       “You had sex with Nick last night in his bedroom, with his parents and sibs there,” Michelle whispered.

       “Yeah, Michelle, you can’t tell anyone, if word gets back to my mom and dad, and Jane and Bob, they will make us stop seeing each other, and my parents will send me away to the boarding school,” Brizee said.

       “I won’t tell anybody, not even Brian, if Nick hasn’t told him yet, you and Nick belong together,” Michelle said.

       “I can’t lose him, Michelle, I love him with everything in me,” Brizee said. The phone rang. Brizee went out and picked up the phone.

       “Hello,” Brizee said.

       “Hi Brizee, this is Mandy,” Mandy said.

       “What do you want,” Brizee said.

       “I want you to stay away from my man, you see, Nick just got back together with me, and just used you for sex, I’m sorry to be the one to call you but he didn’t want to do it because of before, goodbye,” Mandy said. She hung up. Brizee hung up the phone shaking. She called Nick.

       “Hello,” Nick said.

       “Is it true,” Brizee said.

       “Brizee, what,” Nick said.

       “Are you and Mandy back together, did you just use me,” Brizee said.

       “Where did you get this?” Nick asked.

       “Mandy called me, she said you didn’t want to call and tell me and that you just used me for sex,” Brizee said.

       “Baby, she’s lying, she wants me back and will do anything to get that, I’m not back together with her, I’m with you, god, Briz, you know me better than that, I would never use you for anything, I love you, baby,” Nick said.

       “Are you telling me the truth, don’t lie to me, Nick,” Brizee said.

       “Baby, we just got back together, I’m not lying to you, Briz, I could never lie to you,” Nick said.

       “You better not be lying to me, Nickolas,” Brizee said.

       “Brizee, I’m not lying to you!” Nick said.

       “Are you sure?” Brizee asked.

       “I’m coming over there, Brizee, we are going to talk about this, I’m not lying to you and I will prove it,” Nick said. He hung up. Brizee hung up and laid on the bed. Michelle sat down.

       “Briz?” Michelle asked.

       “He’s coming over to prove that everything Mandy said isn’t true,” Brizee said.

       “I better go, call me later,” Michelle said. Brizee nodded and Michelle left. Brizee laid there staring out the window when she heard someone come in and close the door and locked it and felt the bed move and arms wrap around her from behind.

       “Hey,” Nick said nuzzling her neck.

       “Hey,” Brizee said.

       “I love you, Brizee, so much, my heart aches without you, you have my heart, no one else, just you,” Nick said.

       “I love you, too, I just don’t want to lose you again,” Brizee said. Nick rolled her over and laid on top of her and cupped her face in his hands.

       “You will never lose me, Briz, I’m never letting you go again,” Nick said kissing her lips softly.

Chapter 13

Three weeks later, they had just graduated from high school. Nick and Brian were asked to join a music group with three other guys. Michelle and Brizee were hanging out at the Carters’ waiting for them to come back.

       “We are finally out of high school, college, here we come!” Michelle said.

       “You got that right!” Brizee said. Nick and Brian came out.

       “Hey, what’s the news,” Michelle said. Nick sat down next to Brizee and pulled her close.

       “We are in!” Brian said.

       “All right!” Brizee said kissing Nick on the lips.

       “Yup, and the other three guys will be over later, they want to meet you two,” Brian said.

       “Cool,” Brizee said. Nick kissed her deeply.

       “Don’t be checking them out or anything,” Nick whispered.

       “You are the only one for me, honey,” Brizee said looking up at him and resting her head on his shoulder.

       “I know,” Nick said kissing her forehead. 

That night, Michelle was downstairs with Brian and Nick. Brizee was sleeping in her and Nick’s room. Nick came in and sat down on the bed.

       “Hey baby, wake up,” Nick said. She opened her eyes and looked and saw him and smiled.

       “Hey,” Brizee said.

       “The guys are here,” Nick said.

       “Oh okay,” Brizee said getting up. They held hands and went downstairs.

       “Guys, this is Brizee, my girlfriend, Briz, this is Kevin, Howie, and AJ,” Nick said. She shook their hands.

       “Hi,” Brizee said.

       “Hi there,” AJ said.

       “Hi,” Kevin said.

       “Hello,” Howie said. She sat down next to Nick.

       “So how long have you two been dating?” AJ asked.

       “Three years, we have known each other since we were babies,” Nick said.

Three years later…

Brizee waited by the window. Michelle was with her. Nick, Brian, and the guys have been touring Europe and have gotten popular over there. They have been gone for two years. Michelle and Brizee went to the University of Florida and were currently home for the summer. Brizee and Michelle waited for them to come home. Jane and Bob went to meet them and bring them to the house. Brizee went upstairs to check on BJ, Leslie, Angel, and Aaron. They were watching videos in BJ’s room. Brizee went down and went into the kitchen.

Michelle saw the car pull up and shrieked. She ran into the kitchen.

       “They are here!” Michelle said. Brizee smiled and ran out and they ran outside and saw Nick and Brian getting out of the car. Nick saw Brizee and grinned. She ran to him and jumped into his arms and hugged him tight. Michelle and Brian hugged. They all went into the house.

Chapter 14

That night, Brizee and Nick laid in their bed, kissing and making up for lost time.

       “I missed you so much, two years away from you, it killed me,” Nick said.

       “Did you meet any girls,” Brizee said.

       “Yeah, but I didn’t cheat on you or anything, I was completely faithful, you can ask the guys, Brian and I shared a bus and hotel rooms the whole time we were over there,” Nick said kissing her neck. She held him close.

       “I’m just scared that you would leave me for someone else,” Brizee said.

       “Never, baby, never, I would never leave you, never again, you are the only one for me, I love you more than anything in the world,” Nick said.

       “I just don’t want to lose you, Nicky,” Brizee said.

       “Marry me, Briz,” Nick said. Her eyes widened.

       “What,” Brizee said. He reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a ring box.

       “Marry me, Brizee, be my wife, be mine forever,” Nick said.

       “Nick, your parents will freak, I’m not even out of college yet,” Brizee said.

       “So, this will prove that you are my only one and I’m your only one, you will be my wife, and nothing will change that, Brizee, besides, my mom helped me picked it out, I talked to them about it and they will help us plan a wedding, all they want is this ring on your finger,” Nick said. She looked at the ring and looked at him and smiled.

       “Yes, yes, I’ll marry you!” Brizee said. He slid the ring on her finger and kissed her hungrily. He got up and pulled her downstairs where his family was.

       “Mom, Dad, she said yes!” Nick said.

       “She did?!” Jane said smiling.

       “We are engaged!” Nick said grinning. Brizee held her hand up. Jane and Bob hugged Brizee and Nick.

       “Congratulations, son,” Bob said hugging Nick.

       “Thanks, Dad,” Nick said. Jane pulled Brizee into the kitchen and they sat down.

       “Jane, are you really okay with this?” Brizee asked.

       “Yes, honey, you are like another daughter to us, I want it official, you two belong together, I couldn’t be more happier for you two, now let’s start planning,” Jane said.

       “Now?” Brizee asked.

       “The sooner the better, the guys are off for three months, so let’s you two married before they leave again,” Jane said getting out paper and pen.  They sat there planning the wedding. Two hours later, Jane had everything written down.

       “Okay, I’ll get everything ready, tomorrow, we will go look at wedding dresses while Bob takes Nick to look at tuxes, I’ll get the invitations sent out,” Jane said.

       “I hope everything is done before Nick has to go,” Brizee said.

       “It will, trust me, honey, I can get it done, I should have been a wedding coordinator,” Jane said. Brizee went into the living room and sat down on Nick’s lap.

       “Two months, according to your mother, which is August,” Brizee said.

       “That’s cool, the sooner the better, I want to be married to you now,” Nick said kissing her neck.

       “I can’t wait to be your wife,” Brizee said.

       “Mom, hurry up with the plans, make it a month!” Nick said.

       “I’ll see what I can do, Nick!” Jane called back.

       “Thanks, Mom!” Nick said. Brizee rested her head on his shoulder.

       “I miss my mom and dad,” Brizee said.

       “I know you do, baby,” Nick said.

       “Who’s going to give me away?” Brizee asked.

       “I will, Briz,” Bob said.

       “Are you sure?” Brizee said.

       “Yes,” Bob said. She sat there in Nick’s arms.

Epilogue

Two months later, Nick and Brizee were married in front of their family and friends. Bob gave her away. Michelle was Brizee’s maid of honor. Brian was Nick’s best man while Aaron was Nick’s groomsmen, which he didn’t mind. BJ, Angel, and Leslie were bridesmaids.  They went on a honeymoon to Miami and made their marriage official. Two months later, Brizee found out that she was expecting their first child just as Nick and the guys were getting way popular in Europe. Seven months later, with Nick by her side, she gave birth to a baby girl. They named her Alicia Jane Carter.

Brian and Michelle got married two months after Nick and Brizee’s baby was born.
