Kevin sat in his living room, looking at a pic of his wife, Kristin, who passed away two years ago of cancer. He never recovered from losing her. He looked around at his cousin, Brian, his wife, Leighanne, and their son, Baylee. He saw Nick sitting on the loveseat talking with his best friend, Hayley. AJ was in a chair talking to Howie who was sitting on the end of the couch. They came over to keep him company like they always do every week.

"Kev," Hayley said sitting down beside him.

"Hey Hayley," Kevin said. Hayley saw the picture.

"It's been two years, Kev, I know you miss her, we all do, I know Kris, she would not want you moping around the house missing her, she would want you to move on," Hayley said.

"I know, but it's hard," Kevin said.

"Kev, she'll always be in your heart, but you know what she said when she was dying, she said to move on with your life and don't mope about her, she wants you to move on with your life and be happy again, there is someone out there for you, besides Kris," Hayley said. She hugged him and went over and sat down next to Nick on the loveseat and continued talking to him. Kevin looked at Hayley and realized that she was right.

Three weeks later, Hayley and Kevin were hanging out. They were sitting at a secluded part of the beach.

"So, how have you been doing?" Hayley asked.

"You were right about me needing to move on, and I think I'm ready, Hayley," Kevin said.

"That's good," Hayley said.

"I'm in love with someone, Hayley, she is really special," Kevin said.

"Really? Who?" Hayley asked.

"You, Hayley," Kevin said. Hayley looked at him.

"I'm in love with you, too," Hayley said. He leaned forward and they kissed. They laid on the sand and kissed. He began removing her clothes. The kiss deepened and became more passionate. His hands ran down her sides and hips and her thighs and he removed his clothes and leaned over her.

"Do you want this?" Kevin asked. She nodded and they made love on the beach.

Three weeks later, Kevin and Hayley's relationship progressed into a loving relationship where they couldn't be without each other. They were in Kevin's house in his bed, kissing after making love.

"I can't believe this, I am so happy," Kevin said.

"Me, too," Hayley said. He kissed her passionately.

"I am in love with you," Kevin said stroking her cheek.

"I'm in love with you," Hayley said. The doorbell rang. Kevin groaned and got up and got dressed and went downstairs and opened the door and there stood Kristin. His eyes widened.

"Kristin?" Kevin asked.

"Yes, Kevin, it's me," Kristin said. She hugged him.

"How could this be, you are dead," Kevin said.

"Not really, my cancer went into remission, they told you I was dead because I actually did die but they found a way to bring me back and for the past two years, I've been in treatments and I am completely cured," Kristin said. (It's fiction)

"Oh my god, why didn't you call me and tell me you were alive," Kevin said.

"The doctors wouldn't let me, I wanted to so badly but they wouldn't let me near a phone, I snuck out to use the phone but you weren't answering so I thought you moved on with your life or were out of town, I called your cell but it said you were out of the area, I did try to call you, Kevin," Kristin said. Kevin stood there. Hayley came downstairs dressed and she saw Kristin.

"Kris?" Hayley asked.

"Yes, Hayley, it's me," Kristin said. She told Hayley the entire story. AJ, Howie, Nick, and Brian came in and Kristin told the entire story again. Hayley walked outside. Nick came out.

"Hey girl, you okay," Nick said. Hayley hugged him and cried softly. Nick held her close.

"I'm in love with him, Nicky, and now Kristin is back so they have to be together, they are married and I know he loves her alot," Hayley said. Kevin came out.

"Hayley," Kevin said.

"What," Hayley said.

"I'm sorry, I have to be with her, she is my wife, and I do still love her, you will always be special to me," Kevin said. Hayley nodded.

"I know, you, too," Hayley said. Kevin hugged her and went back inside. Hayley looked up at Nick and he looked at her.

"I don't know what to do now," Hayley said. Nick smiled.

"Be with me," Nick said.

"What," Hayley said.

"I am in love with you, Hayley, I have been for awhile, I was too chicken to admit it," Nick said. Hayley kissed him softly. The kiss deepened and they kissed deeply and passionately.

"Oh god, Nick, I do want to be with you, it's you I want, take me home," Hayley said. They left and went to Nick's house and collapsed on Nick's bed and he made passionate love to her. As they laid there holding each other afterwards, she knew that she found her true love. After that day, Nick and Hayley were never apart and she was happy for a long time.
