Hayley sat there in Nick’s dressing room.  She was married to AJ.  They had a huge fight and she was in Nick’s dressing room because she and Nick are best friends. Nick was talking to AJ about the fight. Nick came in and smiled.

        “You can go back now, he’s calm and waiting for you, he hates himself for what he did,” Nick said. Hayley hugged him.

        “Thanks, Nicky,” Hayley said hugging him. She pulled back and looked at him. He looked at her. She kissed his lips softly and went out the door. She went to AJ’s dressing room and walked in and saw him sitting on the couch. He saw her and got up. She closed the door.

        “Baby, I’m sorry, I am so stupid, let’s not fight anymore, ever, I hate fighting with you, I never want to do it again,” AJ said. Hayley smiled and went into his arms. She rested her head on his shoulder.

        “Same here, Alex, I hate it when we fight, I love you so much and I never want to be without you,” Hayley said. AJ pulled back and smiled at her.

        “I love you, too,” AJ said. He kissed her deeply. There was a knock at the door. AJ groaned and opened it and saw Kevin and Nick.

        “Everything okay now?” Kevin asked.

        “Yeah, we are good, we are never going to fight again, I hate it, no matter what happens, I’m never fighting with her again,” AJ said.

        “That’s good, I don’t like it when you two fight,” Nick said. AJ looked at him.

        “Thanks for helping out, Nick, it made me realize what I would be losing,” AJ said. Kevin and Nick went on. AJ closed the door and locked it and picked up Hayley and laid her on the couch and got on top of her. They removed each other’s clothes and made love.

Three days later, the tour was over and everyone went home. Hayley and AJ walked into their house.

        “Nick wouldn’t talk to anyone, what’s up with him?” AJ asked.

        “I have no idea, I’ve never seen him like that, he wouldn’t even come near me and I’m his best friend, he can’t go anywhere without a hug from me, he didn’t even do his handshake with Brian,” Hayley said.

        “Baby, maybe you should go see what’s up, I’m worried about Kaos,” AJ said. Hayley kissed him and went to Nick’s house. She rang the doorbell. She got no answer. She tried to door and it opened. She went in and searched the house. She went out back and found him sitting on the steps to the beach.

        “Nicky,” Hayley said sitting beside him.

        “What,” Nick said.

        “What’s going on, AJ’s worried about you, you didn’t talk to anyone when we can back into town, you didn’t hug me or do your handshake with Brian, that is not like you at all,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

        “It’s nothing,” Nick said.

        “Nickolas, I know you better than anyone, you are hiding something and we promised never to hide anything from each other, you are hiding something, what is it,” Hayley said. Nick sighed and looked at her.

        “I did something that I never wanted to happen, it will change things and hurt people,” Nick said.

        “Nicky, what did you do?” Hayley asked.

        “I fell in love with a married woman,” Nick said.

        “What, who, Nicky, do I know her?” Hayley asked.

        “Yeah, you do, she’s sitting right beside me,” Nick said. Hayley’s eyes widened.

        “Did it happen when I gave you that peck on the lips?” Hayley asked.

        “No, before that, it’s been happening for awhile, I’ve been hiding it for awhile,” Nick said.

        “Nicky, why didn’t you say anything before, I don’t want you hiding stuff from me, we have always been honest with each other, I am not hiding anything from you, my feelings for you are friendship, I love AJ,” Hayley said.

        “I know, Hayley, that’s why I hid my feelings for you, I didn’t want to mess up your marriage to AJ, I know how much you love him, I know how much he loves you, I know how much it would hurt you if he left you,” Nick said. Hayley hugged him.

        “Nicky, I better get going, I’ll come over tomorrow, okay,” Hayley said. Nick nodded. Hayley went home. AJ looked at her.

        “What’s up with Kaos?” AJ asked.

        “Nothing, he was just tired, that’s all, I’m going over there tomorrow, wanna go?” Hayley asked.

        “Nah, you two need best friend time, we were so busy on the road, you two didn’t get to hang out as usual,” AJ said. Hayley kissed his forehead and went upstairs to unpack.

Chapter 2

The next day, she went over to Nick’s and they went out on his boat.  He stopped the boat about a half hour later. Hayley sat down on the front of the boat and looked out at the ocean.

        “I know you love coming out here,” Nick said.

        “It’s just so peaceful, you know, just to relax,” Hayley said. Nick sat beside her.

        “I know,” Nick said. She got up and went down below and sat on the couch. Nick came down and sat down.

        “Hayley, what is it,” Nick said.

        “How deep are your feelings for me?” Hayley asked.

        “Hayley, no,” Nick said.

        “Nick, please, don’t hide things from me,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

        “My feelings for you are so deep that it’s to the point where I want you,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him.

        “What,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, it’s to the point where I want to make love to you, but I know I can’t,” Nick said as he got up and stood away from her.

        “Nick,” Hayley said.

        “I didn’t want to tell you this, I know it ruins things between us, it changes everything, I didn’t want to tell you, I didn’t want you to know, I didn’t want anyone to know, I didn’t want you to know how much I wanted you, how much I want to be on that couch with you, making love to you, sharing my feelings for you, my love for you, yes, Hayley, it’s to the point where I’m so in love with you that it hurts, I love you, Hayley, more than I thought possible, and it ain’t the best friend kind of love, it’s more than friends, I wish it was me you were married to, not AJ, me, I want to be your everything but I can’t, AJ is your everything, it hurts to see you with him, it breaks my heart to have these feelings for you and can’t do anything about it, I think we should stay away from each other,” Nick said. He went up to the controls and started to turn the boat on when a hand covered his. Nick looked at Hayley.

        “Hayley,” Nick said. She kissed him deeply. She pulled him down to the couch and pushed him down and got on top of him and kissed him. He pulled back and looked at her.

        “Hayley, what are you doing?” Nick asked.

        “Shhh,” Hayley said as she began kissing his neck.

        “I was in denial, Nicky, I feel the same way you do,” Hayley said. He grabbed her head and kissed her hungrily. He grabbed her and flipped them so he was on top.

        “Are you sure about this, there is no turning back,” Nick said.

        “I am sure about this, Nicky, make love to me, I want you, inside me, so deep inside me,” Hayley said. He removed their clothes and he laid between her legs. He pushed himself deep inside her. He moaned and kissed her deeply as she wrapped her legs around his waist and pushed him deeper inside her. They moved together as he went faster and harder. He pounded her wetness as she grabbed his face and kissed him deeply. Their tongues explored each other’s mouths. He kissed and licked her neck. He moved down and took a nipple in his mouth and sucked deep. He did the same to the other nipple.

        “Oh god, Nicky!” Hayley said closing her eyes.

        “Come with me,” Nick said. She came around him and cried out his name. He came behind her and spilled himself deep inside her. He collapsed on top of her and buried his face in her neck. They laid there holding each other.

Chapter 3

Hayley laid there in bed and watched AJ sleep. She couldn’t believe she made love with Nick on his boat. She knew she couldn’t leave AJ, but also couldn’t deny what she felt for Nick. The next day, AJ left for his Johnny No Name tour. Hayley went to Brian’s house. She rang the doorbell. Leighanne answered it and saw her.

        “Hey girl,” Leighanne said hugging her.

        “I need to talk to you, is Brian around?” Hayley asked.

        “No, he’s out with Nick,” Leighanne said.

        “Good,” Hayley said coming in. She sat down on the couch and clasped her hands together.

        “Hayley, what’s going on,” Leighanne said.

        “I did something bad yesterday, promise me you won’t tell anyone, not even Brian,” Hayley said.

        “I promise,” Leighanne said.

        “I slept with Nick yesterday, out on his boat, he’s in love with me, I’m attracted to him, we made love out there on the boat, it was so amazing, but wrong, I don’t know what to do, I can’t deny that I have feelings for Nick, I’m falling for him, I know I love AJ, I’m so confused,” Hayley said. Leighanne hugged her.

        “Hayley, this is not good at all, if you continue whatever you are doing with Nick, AJ will somehow find out and your marriage would be over, that is what happened to one of my friends, she was married to a wonderful guy, and she slept with someone else and her husband found out and divorced her and left her with nothing,” Leighanne said.

        “What do I do?” Hayley asked.

        “Confess to AJ before he finds out, be honest with him, and end things with Nick, sneaking around is not the best thing to do,” Leighanne said. Hayley looked at her and nodded. The front door opened and closed and Brian came in with Nick behind him.

        “Hayley, hey girl,” Brian said hugging her.

        “Hey Brian,” Hayley said. Nick came up to her.

        “Don’t I get a hug,” Nick said.

        “Oh, sorry, Nicky,” Hayley said hugging him.

        “So what are you up to today?” Nick asked.

        “I’m getting ready to go meet up with AJ on his tour, I got to get going, bye guys,” Hayley said. She went out the door and went to her car.

        “Hayley, wait,” Nick said. She looked at him.

        “Nick, we can’t see each other anymore,” Hayley said. She got into her car and drove off to the airport and got on the next flight out to LA where AJ was. Once she landed in LA, she went to the hotel where AJ was staying and showed her ID to the front desk and went up to AJ’s room. She knocked on the door. AJ opened it and saw her.

        “Hayley, baby!” AJ said as she went in. He closed the door and hugged her. She pulled away and sat down. AJ sat down next to her.

        “Baby, what’s wrong,” AJ said.

        “There is something I need to tell you, I want you to know that I love you, I never meant for it to happen, I didn’t want to hurt you, but I couldn’t deny it anymore,” Hayley said crying.

        “Hayley, what is it, what did you do?” AJ asked. Hayley looked at him and looked him in the eye.

        “I slept with Nick, yesterday out on his boat,” Hayley said. She covered her face and cried softly.

Chapter 4

Hayley got off the plane in Florida. She walked to her car and got in and sat there.  After she told AJ, he looked at her and shook his head and told her the marriage was over. She went to the house and began packing up her stuff. The phone rang. She looked at it and saw Brian’s number.

        “Hello,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, did you see AJ?” Leighanne asked.

        “Yeah,” Hayley said.

        “What happened?” Leighanne asked.

        “I told him, my marriage is over, he wants nothing more to do with me, I didn’t want him mad at Nick so I took all the blame because I was the one who started it, Nick was all set to stay away from me but I didn’t let him,” Hayley said.

        “That is the last thing that need to happen, a war between two of the boys, wouldn’t look good for the fans,” Leighanne said.

        “I don’t know what to do, I’m packing right now, I have nowhere to go,” Hayley said.

        “You can stay here,” Leighanne said.

        “Thanks, Leighanne, but that wouldn’t be right, Brian’s one of AJ’s best friends, once Brian hears about all this, he won’t want me in the house,” Hayley said.

        “I’m coming over there,” Leighanne said. Hayley hung up and continued packing. She looked up and saw Nick standing at the door.

        “What’s going on,” Nick said.

        “Well, I confessed everything to AJ and he pretty much doesn’t want anything to do with me, don’t worry, he won’t kill you, I took the blame,” Hayley said.

        “Why,” Nick said.

        “Because you were all set to drive the boat back and stay away from me but I didn’t let it happen, I pulled you down to the couch and started it all, it’s my fault that my marriage is over,” Hayley said.

        “Where are you going to go?” Nick asked.

        “I don’t know, Leighanne wanted me to stay over there with her and Brian but I couldn’t,” Hayley said.

        “I’ll get you a place of your own,” Nick said.

        “Thanks,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, no matter what, you will always be my best friend, I would do anything to keep you my best friend,” Nick said. Hayley hugged him.

        “Thanks, Nicky,” Hayley said. He helped her pack. Leighanne came in.

        “Warning, guys, AJ called Brian and told him, Kevin and Howie already know, Brian is looking for you, Nick,” Leighanne said. Brian came in with Kevin and Howie behind him.

        “This is so nice, the marriage is over so you two can be together now, that’s great, stab AJ in the heart even more,” Brian said.

        “Brian, stop,” Leighanne said.

        “For your information, I’m helping Hayley get a place of her OWN, where she can live by herself, she is going to get a job and support herself so she won’t have to live off of anyone, I’m still her best friend, no matter what, and that’s the way it will always be, I am not that heartless,” Nick said grabbing some of Hayley’s bags and went out the door. Leighanne and Hayley looked at each other.

        “Hayley took the blame for it all, she told AJ she started everything which was true,” Leighanne said.

        “Nick was all set to stay away from me but I didn’t let it happen, so be mad at me all you want but don’t hate Nick, he couldn’t help how he felt about me, he was willing to hide his feelings forever but I knew him too well, he was hiding something and I wanted him to be honest with me because he and I promised each other that we wouldn’t keep any secrets, he told me how he felt and told me that we should stay away from each other, but I didn’t let it happen, what I did was wrong, I break AJ’s heart and I can’t go back and change things,” Hayley said. She got her bags and went out the door.

Chapter 5

Hayley sat in her apartment, looking at the divorce papers that were sent to her from AJ.  The papers said she would receive monthly support from AJ.  Her door opened and Nick and Leighanne came in.

        “Hey girl,” Leighanne said sitting down. She saw the divorce papers.

        “Have you signed those yet?” Nick asked.

        “No, why?” Hayley asked.

        “AJ was wondering, I guess he’s in a hurry to divorce you and move on, that’s what he told Brian,” Nick said.

        “Kevin said that AJ can’t ever forgive you,” Leighanne said.

        “I know, I know,” Hayley said. She signed the divorce papers and put them in the folder and handed it to Leighanne.

        “Give these to AJ,” Hayley said. Leighanne nodded and left. Nick sat down in the chair.

        “You okay?” Nick asked.

        “I’m fine,” Hayley said. Nick cleared his throat. Hayley looked at him.

        “What!” Hayley said.

        “You are hiding something,” Nick said.

        “My heart is breaking, okay, I should have never slept with you, none of this wouldn’t be happening!” Hayley cried.

        “I’m sorry, I won’t bother you again,” Nick said. He went out the door.

Three months went by. Hayley found out she was pregnant but didn’t know who the father was. She had a test taken. She was waiting for Dr. Kelly. Leighanne was with her.

        “AJ won’t forgive me for anything, what if the baby is his,” Hayley said.

        “He won’t turn his back on his child,” Leighanne said. Dr. Kelly came back in.

        “I ran the test three times, the father is AJ,” Dr. Kelly said. Leighanne took her to AJ’s. They went up to the door. Hayley rang the doorbell. AJ opened it and saw her and Leighanne.

        “Can we come in, AJ?” Leighanne asked. AJ nodded. They went in and sat down. 

        “What’s going on,” AJ said. Brian, Kevin, Howie, and Nick came into the living room from the kitchen.

        “We were having a band meeting about doing a new album,” Brian said.

        “Hayley and I just came from Dr. Kelly’s office,” Leighanne said.

        “Leigh, are we?” Brian asked.

        “No, we aren’t,” Leighanne said.

        “I’m pregnant, four months along,” Hayley said.

        “Who is the father?” Brian said.

        “Dr. Kelly ran the test three times and they came out the same, the father is AJ,” Hayley said.

        “The baby’s mine?” AJ asked. Hayley nodded.

        “Wow, congrats, man,” Kevin said shaking AJ’s hand.

        “Hayley, I want you to move back in here, but in a separate bedroom, that way I can be there for you, but we can’t be together as a couple,” AJ said.

        “I understand,” Hayley said.

        “Leigh and I will go get your stuff,” Brian said. Hayley nodded and leaned back against the back of the couch and stared at the ceiling.

        “Hayley, you okay?” Howie asked.

        “Morning sickness, I think, it happens all day apparently,” Hayley said. AJ sat down next to her.

        “I’ll help you through this,” AJ said. Hayley looked at him and nodded.

        “Hold on a minute, this isn’t some ploy to get back with AJ, is it?” Nick asked.

        “Nick,” Kevin said.

        “For all we know, the baby could be mine and she could be saying the baby is AJ’s to get back with him,” Nick said.

        “The baby is AJ’s, Nickolas, I’m not lying about that, I’m not trying anything, I am accepting that fact that the marriage is over, AJ can’t forgive me but I am having his baby and he deserves to be there any way possible, I am not going to deny him his child,” Hayley said.

        “Do you two hate each other now?” AJ asked.

        “We had a disagreement, about the fact that I asked if she was okay and I get my head chewed off for asking that question,” Nick said.

        “Well, you asked her that question after she signed the papers,” Kevin said.

        “Instead of I’m fine, she could have just said how she felt,” Nick said.

        “So you two had a fight,” Howie said.

        “She was right, we should have never slept together in the first place, everything is screwed up, and I should have never came clean about my feelings for her!” Nick cried. He went out the door. AJ looked at Hayley.

Chapter 6

Hayley sat in her bedroom at AJ’s house. AJ came in and sat down.

        “What Nick said, did you really say that?” AJ asked.

        “Sort of, I was upset and everything when I said it,” Hayley said.

        “Oh, so you still want him,” AJ said.

        “I don’t know what I want anymore, everything is a mess, I know it’s my fault,” Hayley said.

        “Look, do what you want, I know I want to be there for our child, if you want Nick, go for it, but when it comes to our baby, we are together on that,” AJ said. Hayley nodded. AJ left the room. Hayley got up and went out the door and went to Nick’s house. She knocked and got no answer. She tried to door and it was unlocked.  She went in and looked around and didn’t see Nick. She heard a noise upstairs and went up and peeked into Nick’s bedroom and saw him lying in bed, asleep. She went in and sat on the bed. She gently sat on the bed.  She leaned down and kissed him softly on the lips. His arms came around her and the kiss deepened. He pulled back and looked at her.

        “Hayley,” Nick said.

        “Nick, I want to be with you, I want to be your girlfriend, your lover, everything,” Hayley said.  Nick kissed her deeply and rolled over so he was leaning over her. He slid his hands under her shirt. He slowly slid the shirt over her head. He removed her bra and kissed her breasts. He moved down and kissed her stomach. He heard Hayley groan. He looked up.

        “What’s wrong,” Nick said. Hayley grabbed her stomach.

        “Something’s wrong, the baby,” Hayley said crying. Nick helped her get dressed and helped her to his car and he drove her to the hospital. He called AJ and the guys on the way. He helped her into the hospital and to the desk.

        “Sir?” the nurse asked.

        “She’s four months pregnant and having pains,” Nick said. The nurse called for a wheelchair.

        “Her doctor?” the nurse asked.

        “Dr. Kelly,” Hayley said crying.

        “Are you the father?” the nurse asked.

        “No, I’m her best friend, I called the father, he’s on the way, can I stay with her until he gets here,” Nick said.

        “Yes, come on,” the nurse said. They went to a room and Nick helped Hayley lay down on the bed.

        “Dr. Kelly is on her way,” the nurse said. She left the room. Nick sat down in a chair beside her and held her hand. She held her stomach.

        “Shhh, everything is going to be okay, I’m not leaving your side,” Nick said.

        “Oh god, I’m losing my baby, I can feel it, AJ will hate me,” Hayley said.

        “Why,” Nick said.

        “I’m losing his baby, he was so happy at the thought of becoming a father that he’ll hate me for losing the baby,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, he won’t hate you, you didn’t do anything to cause this, it happens all the time, but women don’t stop because of a miscarriage, let’s wait and see what Dr. Kelly says,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him and nodded. Dr. Kelly came in.

        “Hayley,” Dr. Kelly said.

        “I’m having pains, Dr. Kelly, am I losing the baby?” Hayley asked. AJ came in with Brian, Kevin, and Howie. AJ came over and took Nick’s place.

        “Let’s see what’s going on,” Dr. Kelly said. She ran tests and did an ultrasound.

        “Hayley, I don’t know what is causing the pains, but the baby is just fine,” Dr. Kelly said.

        “Are you sure?” Hayley asked.

        “Yes, positive, I see the heartbeat and I also hear it,” Dr. Kelly said. They listened. Hayley smiled.

        “I hear it,” Hayley said.

        “You want to know the sex of the baby?” Dr. Kelly said. Hayley looked at AJ. He nodded.

        “It’s a boy,” Dr. Kelly said. Hayley looked at AJ.

        “We are having a boy, a son?” AJ asked.

        “Yes,” Dr. Kelly said. AJ hugged Hayley. Nick stood there. Brian went over to him.

        “Nick, what’s wrong,” Brian said as he pulled him out of the room.

        “She wanted to be with me, she told me that, before she started having the pains, she said she wanted to be my everything, but she and AJ are having a baby, how can I compete with that, how can I be with her now,” Nick said. He walked down the hall. Brian went back in.

        “Hey B, where’s Nick?” AJ asked.

        “He left,” Brian said.

        “Why,” Hayley said.

        “He said he can’t compete with all this, that since you two are having a baby together, he doesn’t see how he can be with you now,” Brian said.

        “We aren’t a couple, she wants him, as far as I’m concerned, this baby will have two fathers,” AJ said.

        “Better find him and tell him that,” Brian said. AJ looked at Hayley and went out the door.

Chapter 7

AJ went to Nick’s house and knocked on the door. Nick opened it and saw him.

        “What now, shouldn’t you be with the mother of your son,” Nick said.

        “Nick, come on, go back to the hospital, Hayley needs you,” AJ said.

        “She’s got you now, she doesn’t need me,” Nick said.

        “Nick, get your head out of your ass and get to the hospital,” AJ said.

        “Just go be a happy family, no place for me,” Nick said. He slammed the door in AJ’s face. AJ opened the door and went in.

        “Nickolas Gene Carter, get your ass back to the hospital, Hayley wants you,” AJ said. Nick glared at him.

        “You two are having a baby, I can’t compete with that,” Nick said.

        “This baby will have two fathers, you and me, she wants me there, yes, but she wants to be with you, I want the mother of my child to be happy and she won’t be until you are with her!” AJ said.

        “Why is it so important for me to be with her when she is having YOUR baby!” Nick said.

        “Because you make her happy!” AJ said.

        “She was happy with you!” Nick said. AJ looked at him and shook his head and went back to the hospital.

        “Well?” Brian asked. AJ shook his head.

Five months later, Hayley was back in the hospital, giving birth to her and AJ’s baby boy. AJ was by her side. The baby was laid in her arms and she and AJ watched him. Soon the baby was taken to the nursery and Hayley went to sleep. AJ went to the nursery to see his son. Dr. Kelly came up to him.

        “AJ, I have some bad news,” Dr. Kelly said.

        “What do you mean, is my son okay?” AJ asked.

        “He’s fine, except he’s not your son,” Dr. Kelly said.

        “What,” AJ said.

        “Well, when we ran the first three tests when Hayley was four months, the results came out as you being the father, so for a safety precaution, to ensure those tests were right, we ran another test just a few minutes ago, I did the test myself and ran it three times, Nick is the father of the baby, I’m sorry,” Dr. Kelly said.

        “Are you sure this time?” AJ asked.

        “Positive, and Hayley was under the impression that the baby was yours, she doesn’t know yet,” Dr. Kelly said.

        “I’ll tell her, and Nick,” AJ said. Dr. Kelly nodded and went on. Brian and Leighanne came up to him.

        “Bone, what is it,” Brian said.

        “The baby is Nick’s, the first test was wrong, she ran another test, call Nick and tell him to get his ass here, I’ll tell him and Hayley together,” AJ said. He went to Hayley’s room. She was just waking up.

        “Hey,” AJ said.

        “Is the baby okay?” Hayley asked.

        “Yeah, he’s fine,” AJ said sitting down. They talked until Brian and Leighanne came in with Nick behind them.

        “What is this about?” Nick asked.

        “Dr. Kelly just told me something about the baby, she said that the paternity test she ran when you were four months along were wrong, Nick, you have a son,” AJ said.

        “She said she ran it three times,” Hayley said.

        “She ran another test for a safety precaution, the baby is Nick’s,” AJ said. Hayley looked at Nick. He came over and hugged her.

        “I’m sorry for staying away, I didn’t know,” Nick said. Hayley hugged him tight.

        “You didn’t know, just don’t leave like that again,” Hayley said. Dr. Kelly brought the baby in. Nick looked at him and smiled. AJ picked him up and gently laid him in Nick’s arms. Nick held his son and smiled.

        “Hayley, you should go move in with Nick so you guys can be a family,” AJ said. Hayley looked at Nick who nodded. Hayley looked at AJ and nodded.

Chapter 8

Three months later, Hayley and Nick were enjoying being a family with their son, who they named Nickolas Alexander Carter, Nicky for short. Hayley went over to AJ’s house.         “Hey,” AJ said.

        “Hi, how’s things going,” Hayley said.

        “Fine,” AJ said.

        “What’s wrong,” Hayley said.

        “Our divorce isn’t final,” AJ said.

        “What,” Hayley said.

        “You never sent the papers in,” AJ said.

        “I signed the papers and gave them to Leighanne to give to you,” Hayley said.

        “Leighanne doesn’t know anything about them,” AJ said. Hayley stood there.

        “Well, I gave them to her, I signed them and gave the papers to her to give to you,” Hayley said. Brian and Leighanne came in.

        “Leigh, what did you do with the papers,” Hayley said. Leighanne stood there.

        “I accidently threw them away, they were with a stack of papers on the counter and I threw them all away, I’m sorry,” Leighanne said. She and Brian left.

        “So what now,” Hayley said.

        “I better call,” AJ said.

        “Okay, but first, I need to tell you what I came over here to say, I can’t be truly happy with Nick because I am still in love with you, I can’t stop loving you, AJ, it’s too hard, I can’t let go even though I hurt you and that hurts me, too, I can’t get over you,” Hayley said. She went out the door and went back to Nick’s.  The next day, Hayley went to the beach while Nick took care of Nicky. She felt someone grab her and pull her to a secluded area. She looked and saw AJ.

        “AJ, don’t scare me like that,” Hayley said.

        “You didn’t tell Nick about our divorce papers, did you?” AJ asked.

        “No, I haven’t said anything, why,” Hayley said. AJ kissed her deeply.

        “AJ, you said you could never forgive me and that we were over, you said I could be with whoever I wanted, I’m with Nick, he and I have a son and you know that,” Hayley said. AJ looked at her.

        “I lied to myself, I love you, Hayley, I love you too damn much to let you go, I want you back,” AJ said.

        “AJ,” Hayley said.

        “Please, let’s give our marriage another chance, I need you,” AJ said. 

        “I don’t know,” Hayley said. She ran down the beach and ran to Nick’s house. She ran upstairs and saw Nick asleep on the bed with Nicky on top of him.

Chapter 9

Hayley sat at the kitchen table, drinking a glass of water, thinking of what to do. Nick came in and kissed her on the neck and hugged her from behind.

        “Hey baby,” Nick said.

        “Nick, we need to talk,” Hayley said. Nick sat down.

        “What’s up,” Nick said.

        “I’m still married to AJ, the divorce never went through, Leighanne accidently threw away the papers before she could get them to AJ,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her and looked at the table.

        “So what is going to happen?” Nick asked.

        “I don’t know, AJ wants to give it another chance, but I’m so confused, Nicky is our child, and we are a family, AJ wants me back,” Hayley said. Nick stood up and looked at her.

        “Then go be with him, he is your husband, go,” Nick said. He went out the door. Hayley sat there. She went upstairs to the nursery and looked at her son, sleeping. She sat in the rocking chair and watched him. She knew what she had to do. She called AJ and told him to file for divorce. She hung up and sat there. Nick came in.

        “I’m staying here, I called AJ and told him to file for divorce, I’m staying with you and Nicky, you guys are my family now, our son needs us together, and I want to marry you and be with you and our son,” Hayley said. Nick kissed her deeply. They went to the bedroom and collapsed on the bed and pulled each other’s clothes off and made love.

Three months later, Hayley and AJ had signed new divorce papers and it was pending. The divorce would be final in three months and then she and Nick were going to get married. Nick and Hayley had committed to each other and to their son. But they didn’t know that AJ can’t get over her. He wasn’t going to give up on her. He was partying hard. Brian and Leighanne went to Nick’s house.

        “Hey what’s up,” Nick said.

        “AJ is back to drinking, rehab didn’t seem to help him, he has falling off the wagon again,” Brian said. Hayley came downstairs with Nicky.

        “What’s going on,” Hayley said.

        “AJ is drinking again,” Nick said.

        “What, he swore he would stay sober, he said he wasn’t going through all that again,” Hayley said.

        “Yeah, well, it seems the divorce is really stressing him out,” Brian said.

        “This is all about the divorce, he wanted the original divorce in the first place, I told him that my choice was to be with Nick and our son,” Hayley said.

        “And our unborn child,” Nick said.

        “What,” Brian and Leighanne said.

        “Yeah, we are three months pregnant,” Nick said.

        “As soon as my divorce from AJ is final, Nick and I are going to get married, I’m not changing my mind, AJ will have to move on with his life because I am staying with Nick,” Hayley said.

        “So he is destroying his life and our reputation because he wants Hayley back?” Nick asked.

        “I believe so,” Brian said.

        “So what am I suppose to do, huh, go back to him, stop the divorce,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, you made your choice, you did what you thought was best for Nicky and I agree with that, he needs you two together as does your unborn child, AJ needs to realize that you want Nick,” Brian said.

        “Let’s go,” Nick said. Nick and Brian went out the door. Hayley sat down with Nicky. Leighanne sat down.

        “Hayley,” Leighanne said.

        “AJ understood the choice I made, when I asked for a divorce, he didn’t fight with me about it,” Hayley said.

        “AJ needs to get his life back together,” Leighanne said. Hayley nodded and smiled at Nicky.

Chapter 10

Nick and Brian met up with Howie and Kevin and they went to every bar to look for AJ. They found him at Tabu. Howie motioned the bartender who put the whiskey he was about the serve to AJ away.  AJ turned and saw the four of them and rolled his eyes.

        “Here comes the cavalry,” AJ said.

        “AJ, you need to stop this, you don’t want to go through all this again, you are destroying yourself and our reputation,” Kevin said.

        “Go to hell,” AJ said. Howie and Nick looked at each other and grabbed him and took him to Howie’s office. They sat him in a chair.

        “This is stupid, AJ, we know why you are doing this, because Hayley won’t be you anymore, she made her choice, AJ, she wants to be with Nick and their son, and now she’s pregnant again with Nick’s child, they are a family, Nicky needs them together, you need to move on,” Brian said.

        “I can’t, I love her, I want her back, I don’t care about anything else,” AJ said.

        “She chose me, AJ, she wants to be a family with me, Nicky, and the baby, she said you understood her choice,” Nick said.

        “But I don’t,” AJ said.

        “AJ, you wanted the divorce in the first place, because she slept with Nick, you said you wanted nothing to do with her and she accepted that and gave herself to Nick, she loves him now, you need to get your life back together, there is no reason you two can’t be friends, she is doing what is right for Nicky and the baby,” Brian said. AJ looked at him and looked at Nick. Nick looked at him and looked away.

        “Do you love her, Nick?” AJ asked.

        “More than anything in the world,” Nick said.

        “Please take good care of her and those kids, don’t leave them and don’t stop loving her, don’t let her go, don’t stop showing her love,” AJ said.

        “I will take care of them, I won’t leave them, I won’t stop loving her, I won’t let her go without a fight, I won’t stop showing her love,” Nick said. AJ stood up and hugged him. Brian, Howie, and Kevin smiled.

        “Love you, Kaos, I’m glad it’s you she’s with instead of some other guy,” AJ said.

        “You need to talk to her, Bone, let her know you will be okay,” Nick said. AJ nodded and they went to Nick’s house and went in and saw Hayley and Leighanne on the couch with Nicky.

        “AJ,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, I’m sorry for everything, I won’t fight the divorce, I will move on with my life, and I want to be front and center at the wedding,” AJ said. Hayley smiled and hugged him.

        “Thanks, AJ,” Hayley said.

        “I want you to be happy, take care of Kaos, okay, and no cheating,” AJ said.

        “Never again, I can’t break another heart,” Hayley said. AJ smiled and hugged her again.

Chapter 11

Three months later, Hayley and AJ’s divorce was final and it was Nick and Hayley’s wedding day. AJ walked down the hallway of the church and turned the corner and saw Leighanne kissing another guy. He went back the way he came and saw Howie and Brian. He grabbed Brian and pulled him to where he saw Leighanne and Brian saw them. His eyes widened.

        “Hey!” Brian said walking up to them. They broke apart and looked at him.

        “You are cheating on me, in a church, how could you do this,” Brian said.

        “She’s mine now, Littrell,” the guy said. Brian looked at him and shook his head.

        “You can have her, I’m filing for a divorce, and she won’t get one cent from me as of the pre-nup she signed,” Brian said. He walked off. Leighanne looked at AJ and Howie who shook their heads and walked behind Brian. They went to the groom’s room where Nick and Kevin were talking.

        “What’s going on,” Kevin said.

        “I just caught Leighanne kissing another guy, I told her it was over and I was filing for a divorce,” Brian said.

        “Oh my gosh,” Kevin said.

        “She was kissing another guy, in a church, she was practically cheating on me in church!” Brian said. He sat down. Howie sat down and hugged him. AJ went to the bride’s room. He knocked. Kristin opened the door and he went in. He saw Hayley dressed in her wedding dress which was a white sleeveless dress that hung to her ankles.

        “AJ,” Hayley said.  He told them what happened.

        “Is Brian okay?” Kristin asked.

        “He’s devastated, he’s with the guys,” AJ said.

        “Thanks for telling us, Kris, you are now my maid of honor,” Hayley said. Kristin smiled and nodded. Brian came in. Hayley got up and hugged him.

        “Oh B, I’m so sorry,” Hayley said. Brian hugged her.

        “I just can’t believe she would do that in church,” Brian said.

        “Well, you caught her and told her it was over,” Hayley said.

        “Thanks to AJ, he caught her first and pulled me to see it,” Brian said.

        “That is a good thing he did that,” Kristin said.

Three hours later, they all were at the wedding reception. Kristin held Nick while Nick and Hayley danced. Nick held Hayley close and kissed her forehead.

        “I love you,” Nick said quietly.

        “I love you, too,” Hayley said. She rested her head on his chest. She felt pain in her stomach.

        “Nick,” Hayley said clutching her stomach. He held onto her. 

        “The baby,” Nick said. Hayley nodded. He motioned the guys and helped her out to the car and took her to the hospital. They went to the desk. The nurse got a chair for Hayley and they took her to an examine room. Dr. Kelly came in and examined her.

        “Hayley, I’m afraid you are having a miscarriage,” Dr. Kelly said. Nick held Hayley as she cried.

Chapter 12

(Okay, I have decided to go a different way with this so from Chapter 2 to Chapter 11 was a big huge dream. So it’s going to be continued from Chapter 2).

Hayley woke up and looked around and saw Nick next to her. She looked around and saw they were still on Nick’s boat. She got up and got dressed and went up top and sat down and thought about everything. She heard a noise and looked and saw Nick come up.

        “Hey,” Nick said.

        “I think we should had back, I need to get home to AJ,” Hayley said.

        “I knew this would change things,” Nick said. He headed up to the controls and headed back to his dock. He parked the boat. Hayley got up and headed to get off the boat but Nick grabbed her.

        “Hayley, we need to talk about this,” Nick said.

        “Not now, Nicky, I have to go,” Hayley said. She ran off the boat. She got into her car and went home to AJ’s. She ran in and saw AJ watching TV. She ran up and got into the shower and stood there.  She felt arms around her from behind.

        “Hey baby,” AJ said kissing her neck.  She turned in his arms and hugged him.

        “I love you so much, AJ,” Hayley said burying her face in his neck.

        “I love you, too,” AJ said. They kissed deeply. He lifted her up and pushed her against the wall and they made love in the shower. They showered afterwards and went out and collapsed on the bed and made love again. He laid on top of her.

        “Baby, um, we forgot protection,” AJ said.

        “Oh, well,” Hayley said.

        “I thought we agreed to wait on having kids,” AJ said.

        “How long did you want to wait?” Hayley asked. AJ thought about it and shrugged.

        “No more waiting,” AJ said.

Three days later, after making love non-stop, AJ and Hayley laid there in bed, holding each other.

        “I think we are set,” Hayley said.

        “I would say so, I love you so much,” AJ said kissing her deeply. The phone rang. AJ groaned.

        “What,” AJ said as he answered it.

        “Hey Rok, what, a meeting, where, okay, okay, bye,” AJ said. He hung up.

        “What’s up,” Hayley said.

        “A band meeting in 10 minutes at his house, I’m suppose to bring you along,” AJ said. They got up and got dressed. They went to Brian’s house and went in and saw Brian talking with Kevin, Kristin, and Leighanne. Nick was talking with Howie. Nick looked and saw Hayley.

        “Hey Bone, okay, everyone is here,” Brian said. AJ sat down and pulled Hayley down on his lap.

        “So, what’s the big meeting about,” AJ said.

        “A new album, I have a few ideas for songs,” Brian said. AJ looked at Howie and Nick.

        “Why did we need the girls?” AJ asked.

        “After we are done, we are having a barbecue,” Brian said. Hayley, Leighanne, and Kristin got up.

        “You guys can have your meeting, we girls will be in the kitchen,” Leighanne said as she pulled Hayley and Kristin into the kitchen. Hayley sat down at the table.

        “Hayley, what’s going on,” Kristin said.

        “You guys promise not to tell a soul,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, you know you can trust us,” Kristin said. They sat down. Hayley leaned in.

        “Something happened when I was with Nick out on his boat,” Hayley said.

        “You slept with him?” Leighanne whispered. Hayley nodded. Leighanne and Kristin looked at each other.

        “We kinda knew, Nick told Brian, he told me, don’t worry, no one would dare tell AJ,” Leighanne whispered.

        “AJ and I decided to work on getting pregnant,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley,” Kristin said.

        “There was no protection with either one,” Hayley whispered. 

        “Oh boy,” Kristin said. AJ, Howie, Brian, Nick, and Kevin came in and saw the girls’ faces.

        “Uh-oh, something’s wrong,” Kevin said.

        “Serious faces,” Brian said.

        “What, we can’t be serious about anything we talk about,” Leighanne said.

        “I didn’t mean it like that,” Brian said. Hayley got up and went out back. AJ came out and hugged her.

        “You okay, baby,” AJ said.

        “I’m fine,” Hayley said. AJ kissed her and went back inside. Hayley walked down the stairs to the beach and walked to a secluded spot and sat down. She felt someone sit next to her and saw Nick.

Chapter 13

Hayley sat there staring at the sand. Nick sat there looking at her. She looked at him.

        “Nick, what we did on the boat, it can’t happen again,” Hayley said.

        “I know, you and AJ are working on getting pregnant,” Nick said.

        “But now it is possible that I could get pregnant with your baby since we didn’t bother using protection,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

        “I can’t stop how I feel about you, Hayley, I said there was no turning back when we were out on the boat,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him.

        “Nick, what do you want me to do, huh, give up my marriage to AJ to be with you, I love him, Nick, I married him, I can’t hurt him any more than I have, if I leave him, it will destroy him and he’ll go back to drinking,” Hayley said. Nick kissed her deeply and got up and went back to Brian’s. Hayley sat there. She got up and ran to catch up with Nick and grabbed him and pulled him back to the secluded area. She kissed him softly. He pulled her close and kissed her hungrily. He slid his hands under her shirt.

        “Hayley, Nick, where are you guys?!” They heard AJ yell. They broke apart and straightened up and Nick ran down to meet up with AJ.

        “Hey, Kaos, where’s my wife at?” AJ asked. Hayley ran up to them.

        “I’m here, I was trying to get sand out of my shirt from where Nick dumped sand down my shirt,” Hayley said. Nick smiled.

        “Nick,” AJ said.

        “It was funny,” Nick said. He ran off. Hayley jumped on AJ and kissed him.

        “Let’s go home,” AJ said. They went home and he carried her up to the bedroom and they removed each other’s clothes and collapsed on the bed and made love.  After AJ went to sleep, Hayley got up and got dressed. She left AJ a note and went to Nick’s.  She knocked on the door and he opened it and she went in and he closed it. She jumped on him and kissed him deeply and he carried her upstairs to his room and closed the door. They collapsed on his bed and removed each other’s clothes. He kissed her lips softly and kissed her neck. He laid between her legs and pushed himself deep inside her. They moved together as their hands explored each other’s body. She came around him and he kissed her as she cried out. He came and spilled himself inside her. He laid on top of her. He laid beside her and she got up and got dressed. She gave Nick a long deep kiss and went out the door. She walked down the stairs and headed for the front door when the door opened and AJ came in and saw her.

        “Hey honey, I wanted to come over and hang with you guys, too,” AJ said kissing her.

        “Cool, I was just heading home,” Hayley said.

        “Your clothes are winkled,” AJ said.

        “Nick wouldn’t stop tickling me, we were wrestling and tickling, I won,” Hayley said.

        “Well, let’s go home,” AJ said. Nick came downstairs.

        “Hey, what’s the hurry,” Nick said.

        “No hurry, just came over looking for my wife,” AJ said. Nick looked at Hayley.

        “You mean the woman I’m in love with,” Nick said. Hayley’s eyes widened.

        “What,” AJ and Hayley said.

        “I can’t hide my feelings anymore, I have fallen for Hayley, in fact, we just got done having mind blowing sex,” Nick said.

        “You have got to be kidding, I’m not that kind of person,” Hayley said.

        “My wife wouldn’t cheat on me,” AJ said.

        “Oh really, we have had sex twice, here and on the boat, there was no wrestling or tickle fest, it was sex, pure hot mind blowing sex,” Nick said. Hayley slapped him.

        “You asshole, I never did anything with you, I would never ever cheat on my husband!” Hayley said. She walked out the door.

Chapter 14

Hayley went into her and AJ’s house and went to shower and got out and dried off and got dressed and laid on the bed and looked out the window.  AJ came in.

        “Baby,” AJ said.

        “I never want to see him again, he is no longer my best friend, to say those lies, I hate him!” Hayley said.

        “Baby, I don’t believe him, I know you wouldn’t do that to me,” AJ said. Hayley turned and pulled him on top of her and kissed him deeply.

        “Make love to me, AJ, please,” Hayley said. He removed her clothes and his and they made love.

Three months later, Hayley found out that she was pregnant and she didn’t know who the father was and she had Dr. Kelly run a test. Dr. Kelly came in with the results.

        “The father of your baby is Nick,” Dr. Kelly said.

        “Are you sure?” Hayley asked.

        “100% positive,” Dr. Kelly said. Hayley went home and saw AJ sitting on the couch with Kevin and Brian.

        “Hey honey, what did the doctor say?” AJ asked.

        “I’m three months pregnant,” Hayley said. AJ got up and hugged her.

        “We’re having a baby,” AJ said. Hayley smiled and nodded and hugged him.  Kevin and Brian looked at each other. They got up and hugged AJ and Hayley and left and went to Nick’s. Kevin and Brian knew about Nick and Hayley sleeping together but they decided not to say anything to AJ due to the fact that they were afraid he’ll go back to the bottle. Nick sat them come in.

        “What’s up,” Nick said.

        “Hayley is three months pregnant and we know it could be yours or AJ’s, AJ thinks it is his and Hayley didn’t deny it so we don’t know if she did a test,” Brian said. Nick went out the door. He went over there. He rang the doorbell. Hayley opened the door and saw him and glared at him. He held up his hands.

        “I’m not here to cause trouble, Brian and Kevin told me the news and I just wanted to say congrats,” Nick said.

        “Thanks,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, I’m sorry for what I did, I shouldn’t have said those things,” Nick said. AJ came to the door and saw him. Nick looked at him.

        “I was lying about those things I said, Hayley didn’t do anything with me, I was just kidding around and I know now that what I said shouldn’t have been said, it was a mean joke and I’m sorry,” Nick said.

        “We forgive you, Nicky,” AJ said. Hayley nodded.

        “Hayley, can we hang out?” Nick asked. Hayley looked at AJ.

        “Go on, you two need to get the best friend thing going again,” AJ said. Hayley kissed him and stepped outside.

        “Kaos, take special care of her, she’s expecting,” AJ said. Nick nodded.

        “I won’t let anything hurt her,” Nick said. They went to Nick’s boat and Nick drove it out and stopped a half hour later. Hayley sat there. Nick sat down.

        “Now, I know you are pregnant, who’s the father,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him.

        “I can’t lie to you, it’s yours,” Hayley said.

        “But as far as AJ is concerned, it’s his,” Nick said.

        “Yeah, I don’t want to send him back to the bottle, Nicky, that will destroy him and the group,” Hayley said.

        “I know, to the world, it’s AJ’s baby, to us, it’s ours,” Nick said.

        “Yeah,” Hayley said. Nick put his hand on her stomach. Hayley covered his hand with hers. He kissed her softly. The kiss grew deeper. He picked her up and carried her down to the couch and they removed each other’s clothes and made love. Afterwards, they laid there holding each other. Nick’s cell phone rang. Nick grabbed it.

        “Hello,” Nick said.

        “Hey Frack, where’s AJ?” Brian asked.

        “Last I saw him he was home, he sent Hayley with me to hang out, why, what’s going on,” Nick said.

        “Howie said that he’s at Tabu with Amanda,” Brian said. Nick looked at Hayley.

        “What, why, what are they doing?” Nick asked.

        “They are dancing, pretty much acting like a married couple,” Brian said.

        “You’re kidding, right,” Nick said.

        “No, I know you and Hayley are sleeping together and all that, but AJ has pretty much been doing the same thing, he’s at Tabu now if Hayley wants to catch him in the act,” Brian said. Nick hung up and got up and got dressed.

        “What’s going on,” Hayley said getting dressed. Nick drove the boat back to shore. They got into Nick’s car and he drove to Orlando. He parked at Tabu and they went in.

        “Nick, what is going on?” Hayley asked. Nick looked around and pointed. Hayley looked and saw AJ with Amanda. Her eyes widened. Nick took her up to Howie’s office and sat her down.

        “What has been going on?” Hayley asked Nick and Howie. Nick looked at Howie.

        “He’s been coming here with Amanda, and they have been acting like they were married,” Howie said.

        “How long?” Hayley asked.

        “Five months,” Howie said.

        “No one bothered to say anything?” Hayley asked.

        “It wasn’t our place to say, only me and Brian knew, Brian just told Nick while he was with you,” Howie said. Nick knelt down beside her.

        “I would have told you if I have known before,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him and hugged him.

        “What do you want to do about this, Hayley,” Howie said. Hayley looked at Howie.

        “Get his ass up here,” Hayley said. Howie nodded and called down to his brother, John. AJ came in and saw them. Nick glared at him as did Howie. Hayley stood up and looked at him.

        “Hayley,” AJ said.

        “For five months, you’ve been seeing Amanda behind my back, acting like you are married to her, what is the story,” Hayley said.

        “I can’t get over her,” AJ said. Hayley nodded.

        “Well, do you want to be with her?” Hayley asked.

        “Hayley, I’m married to you,” AJ said.

        “Answer the question,” Hayley said.

        “Yes, I do, but I can’t because of you,” AJ said.

        “She seems to be offering you a way out, Bone,” Nick said standing beside Hayley.

        “Nick, this is none of your business,” AJ said.

        “Well, it is since Hayley is my best friend, and so are you,” Nick said.

        “If you want to be with Amanda, go for it, I’ll file for a divorce,” Hayley said.

        “What about the baby?” AJ asked.

        “The baby will be fine, because it will have its father,” Hayley said. AJ looked at her.

        “What,” AJ said.

        “What Nick said at his house, about me and him sleeping together, it was the truth, the baby is Nick’s, but you have no right to be mad since you started seeing Amanda before I even did anything with Nick,” Hayley said. She grabbed Nick’s hand and pulled him out the door.

Chapter 15

Nick and Hayley walked into Nick’s house. Hayley threw her purse on the couch and sat down.

        “I can’t believe this, all this time I’ve been kicking myself for cheating on him when all along, he was cheating on me, I can’t believe him!” Hayley said.

        “What do you want to do, do you want me and Brian to pack up your stuff at the house?” Nick asked.

        “Yeah, I want to move in here with you,” Hayley said. Nick smiled and kissed her forehead and called Brian. He left. Hayley sat there. AJ came in.

        “Hayley, we have to talk,” AJ said.

        “No, I don’t ever want to talk to you again, I’m moving out and filing for a divorce, you go be with Amanda, you said you wanted to be with her, go be with her, we are through, I’m moving in here with Nick so he can be there for his child, I am done with you, you made me feel like an idiot, I have been kicking myself for cheating on you when you have been doing the same thing!” Hayley said.

        “I’m sorry, Hayley, I never meant to hurt you, I love you so much, my life is empty without you,” AJ said.

        “Your life will be fine without me, you will have Amanda, that is where you want to be, you have proven that, you rather be with her than me, go, be happy, leave me be, I’ll be fine without you, Nick will take care of me, he always has, he is my best friend and he will protect me, I will call the lawyer so expect divorce papers, nothing you say will change my mind,” Hayley said. AJ looked at her and nodded.

        “I’m sorry for hurting you, I hope someday we can be friends,” AJ said. He left. Hayley sat down and took a deep breath. She called the lawyer and asked for divorce papers. She hung up and put her hand on her stomach.

        “We are where we belong, little one, you may not know what I’m saying but we are where we belong, here with your daddy,” Hayley said. Nick and Brian came in with her stuff. Brian hugged her and left. Nick carried her up to his bedroom and laid her on the bed and laid beside her. She stroked his cheek. He kissed her softly and removed her clothes and his. He kissed her neck. He kissed her collarbone and moved down to her breasts and took a nipple in his mouth and sucked deep. Hayley held his head to her as he sucked and licked her nipple. He did the same to the other nipple and then moved down to her stomach and kissed it softly.

        “Our baby,” Nick said kissing her stomach again. He moved up and kissed her deeply as he laid between her legs and pushed himself inside her. They moved together and they came together. He laid beside her and pulled her close.

Three weeks later, Hayley went to the beach while Nick hung out with Brian. She sat down on the beach. She felt someone sit next to her. She looked and saw Kevin sitting there. He smiled at her.

        “What brings you to the beach?” Hayley asked.

        “I wanted to talk to you,” Kevin said.

        “Is it about Kris?” Hayley asked.

        “No, it’s about you,” Kevin said.

        “Me?” Hayley asked.

        “Yeah, Hayley, I have fallen for you,” Kevin said.

        “Kevin, I don’t feel the same way about you, sorry, you are a good friend, but that’s all,” Hayley said. 

        “I know that, Hayley,” Kevin said.

        “Then why are you telling me,” Hayley said.

        “Because I can’t hide it any longer,” Kevin said.

        “What about Kris, huh, do you love her?” Hayley asked.

        “Yes, I do, more than life itself,” Kevin said. Hayley got up.

        “Well, you need to get over your feelings for me, but don’t expect me to help you because I won’t,” Hayley said. She went back to Nick’s house and locked it up.

Epilogue

Hayley sat on the bed, staring at a pic of her and Nick. Nick came in and kissed her. He sat down.

        “What’s wrong,” Nick said.

        “Kevin has fallen for me, I told him to get over his feelings because I wasn’t going to help him, he says he loves Kristin more than life itself, I just want to be with you, Nicky, I don’t care about anything else, just being with you is all I want,” Hayley said. Nick pulled her close and kissed her deeply. They laid on the bed and pulled each other’s clothes off and made love.

Five months later, Hayley was in the hospital. She gave birth to her and Nick’s baby girl. She held their daughter in her arms. Her and AJ’s divorce was final a month before and she and Nick got married four days before she went into labor. Kevin had gotten over his feelings for Hayley and he and Kristin were expecting their first child. Nick sat beside Hayley and they watched their baby girl. Nick kissed her forehead and knew things would be better from that day on.
