I sat in the living room of my house. I was watching TV when the doorbell rang. I got up and opened the door and saw my best friend, Nick. He looked upset.
Hey, whats wrong? I asked. He came in and sat down on the couch. I closed the door and sat down next to him.
Nick, I said.
Mandy was killed in a car accident, I just came from the hospital, Nick said.
Why didnt you call me? I asked.
Because I know you hated her, Nick said.

I sat the guys sitting up. I saw Kristen and Amanda sitting up.
Everyone okay? Kevin asked.
Yeah, we all said. I looked and saw Nick beside me. He hugged me.
You okay, Nick said.

Yeah, Nick said. We looked around the island and saw that we were the only people on it. We went back to the spot where we were. I sat against the tree. Nick sat next to me. Brian sat down next Nick. What do we do now? Amanda asked.
I dont know, Kev, AJ said.
I dont know, we have to survive somehow, we have to work together, Kevin said.
I rested my head on Nicks shoulder. He rested his head against mine and held my hand. We watched the ocean.
Okay, Bri, Nick, Brian, you guys go look for some food, the rest of us will find wood for a fire, Kevin said.
Brian, Nick, and I went into the woods to look for some food. We looked everywhere. I looked up and saw bananas.

How do we get them? Brian asked.

I know, but there is no reason to, I love Nick, the guy is just a friend, I said crying. I started having pains. Brian took me to the hospital. Dr. Kelly examined me.
Bri, you got too stressed out, you need to stay calm, the baby will be fine, Dr. Kelly said. She left the room. I laid on my side and faced the window.

Nicks on his way, Brian said.

Dr. Kelly called him, Brian said.

Hows the baby? Brian asked.

I need to be alone, I said. He left the room. Ten minutes later, I saw Nicks reflection in the window.

Are you okay? Nick asked.

And the baby? Nick asked.
There is no baby, I said.

GET OUT! I yelled. He left. I cried. Brian came in.
Bri, Brian said. I said nothing and cried.
I let him go, I cant believe I did that! I cried. Brian hugged me.

Three weeks later, I was sitting in the apartment Brian got for me. Brian told me that Nick was trying to find me. I got on my computer and saw that Bruny and Nick were on. Nick sent me an instant message but I didnt answer him. Bruny sent me an instant message.

Bruny: Whats going on?
Bri: What do you mean?
Bruny: Nick and I have been talking, he told me that you lost the baby.
Bri: Its not true, Im still pregnant, dont tell him, ok
Bruny: Why?
Bri: I just cant deal with him anymore
Bruny: Do you love him?
Bri: More than anything
Bruny: Bri, you are only hurting yourself, you need to talk to him, work this out, he misses you and he loves you, he doesnt have a problem with me, he knows that Im not a threat, he needs you, Bri

I answered Nicks message

Bri: What do you want
Nick: We need to talk about this
Bri: Why
Nick: Bri, I love you more than anything, Im sorry for everything, I just want you back
Bri: Oh really
Nick: Bri, where are you
Bri: Howard Apartments, apt no. 231, ok
Nick: Ok, see ya, I love you

I closed it out and went back to Bruny

Bri: I talked to him, hes coming over
Bruny: Good girl, make it right, let me know, ok
Bri: ok, bye
Bruny: bye

I logged off and got up. I called Brian
Hello, Brian said.
Brian, I talked to Nick online, hes coming over, I said.
Good, about time, Brian said.
Bye, I said. I hung up. There was a knock at the door. I smoothed my sundress and opened the door and saw Nick. He saw my stomach and his eyes widened. I stepped aside. He came in and I closed the door.
I know you are going to ask, yes, Im still pregnant, I lied and Im
sorry, I just couldnt handle the way you were so I lied to keep you away, I said.
Bri, I love you so much, I dont ever want to lose you!, Nick said. He pulled me gently to him and put his hand on my stomach. We kissed deeply.
I love you, too, I said. We hugged. He pulled back and smiled.
How about moving back to my house? Nick asked.
Okay, I said. He got my stuff together and loaded in his Durango. Everything was packed up and moved back to his house. I turned my keys in to the landlord. We went home. I sat down while he brought in my things. Then he sat down and wrapped his arms around me. I rested against him and smiled.
I love this, Nick said.
