Brizee arrived at the hotel. She walked into the lobby and looked around.
She saw her best friend, Theresa.
"T!" Brizee called out. Theresa saw her and came over.
"Hey girl!" Theresa said hugging her.
"Thanks for inviting me to come," Brizee said.
"Hey, Im getting married, okay, and it would be right without you there!"
Theresa said.
"So wheres the lucky guy?" Brizee asked.
"Sound checks, theyll be back in a few, him and the guys," Theresa said.
"I cant believe you are getting married to Kevin of the Backstreet Boys,"
Brizee whispered.
"I cant believe it either, come on, lets go get caught up," Theresa said.
They went to the restaurant and sat at the bar and ordered a couple of
sodas.
"So, hows Adam?" Theresa asked.
"We broke up, he cheated on me with another girl, so I broke up with him,"
Brizee said.
"What a jerk, he wasnt worth it," Theresa said.
"Yeah, I know, I wasted three years with that guy and I gave him everything
and this is how he repays me, cheating on me, makes me so mad, Ive had it
with guys, Im serious, T," Brizee said.
"Briz, how about I set you up with someone I know wont hurt you like Adam
did," Theresa said.
"I dont like being set up, T," Brizee said.
"Briz, come on, how about Nick, hes a great guy and needs someone in his
life, like you, I know you like him," Theresa said.
"T, I just want to be single for once, I was with that guy for three years,
I want to try single life for awhile," Brizee said.
"Okay, okay, I tried, come on, I saw bodyguards come in so the guys must be
back," Theresa said. They walked out and Brizee saw Nick, Brian, AJ, Howie,
and Kevin come into the hotel. Brizee looked at Theresa. Kevin came over and
hugged Theresa.
"Hey baby," Kevin said.
"Hey, Kev, this is Brizee, my best friend, from Florida," Theresa said.
"Hi Brizee, nice to meet you," Kevin said shaking her hand.
"Same here, so you are the one she talks about all the time, I already know
who you are, well, from being a fan and from Miss Theresa here," Brizee
said.
"Oh she talks about me, I hope its all good," Kevin said hugging Theresa
close.
"Oh yeah, its all good, Kevin, dont worry, I havent heard her talk bad
about anyone," Brizee said. Nick, Brian, and AJ came up to them.
"Kev, can we go shopping?" AJ asked
"Sure, be at the venue at six," Kevin said.
"Whos this," AJ said looking at Brizee.
"This is Brizee, my best friend from Florida, Brizees been living in
Orlando for five years now, she moved down the same time I did, we used to
live together until I met Kevin and she was so busy with work that she and
Kevin never met," Theresa said. AJ took Brizees hand and kissed it.
"Nice to meet you, Brizee," AJ said.
"You, too, AJ, and nice to meet you, Nick and Brian, I would talk to you
all but I am very tired from my flight," Brizee said. Theresa handed her a
key.
"You have the room next to Nick, its a suite," Theresa said.
"As long as theres a bed, Ill be fine, excuse me," Brizee said. She got
her bags and went to the elevators.
Theresa looked at the guys. She saw Nick and AJ watching Brizee. She looked
up at Kevin.
"Does she have a boyfriend?" Nick asked.
"She just broke up with her boyfriend of three years, he cheated on her,
hes a jerk, she gave him everything and he hurt her deeply, shes trying
single life now, I want to set her up but she doesnt like being set up, she
wants to enjoy single life after being with that jerk," Theresa said. Nick
and AJ looked at each other.
"Whos her favorite Backstreet Boy?" AJ asked.
"Nick is," Theresa said.
"Hmm," Nick said.
"Nicky, I tried, but she wants to be single for awhile," Theresa said.
"Ill go get to know her, maybe we can be friends," Nick said heading for
the elevators.
"AJ, no, you have Sarah at home," Kevin said.
"I know, I know, I can look," AJ said.
"But dont touch, I want them to get together," Theresa said. AJ nodded.
Nick went to Brizees suite and knocked on the door. Brizee opened the door
and saw him.
"Hi," Nick said.
"Hi Nick, I was getting ready to take a nap," Brizee said.
"Can I take one with you?" Nick asked.
"What?" Brizee said.
"A nap, I want to rest up for the show tonight and I dont like being
alone," Nick said.
"You want to sleep with me, dont you?" Brizee asked.
"Brizee, a nap, that kind of sleep, you know, close your eyes and sleep,"
Nick said.
"No offense, but if you were in bed with me, I wouldnt be sleeping,"
Brizee said.
"Doesnt bother me, we can hang out," Nick said going into the room. Brizee
closed the door.
"Look, we just met, Nick, okay, and this is going way too fast, we arent
even a couple," Brizee said.
"We can be," Nick said.
"Nick, look, I want to enjoy single life, I just got out of a relationship,
I want to see what its like to be single," Brizee said. Nick sighed.
"It isnt fun, Brizee, single life sucks," Nick said.
"Well, I dont know that, okay, I want to see for myself," Brizee said.
Nick came over to her.
"You will hate it, Brizee, Im giving you a chance here, a chance for
happiness," Nick said.
"Nick, you are a great guy and all, but I want to see" Nicks lips on hers
cut off Brizee. He pulled back.
"But I can change my mind," Brizee said.
"Really?" Nick asked. Brizee kissed him hungrily.
"You wanna take that nap?" Brizee asked.
"First, will you be my girl?" Nick asked.
"Yes," Brizee said. They laid down on the bed and Nick held her close and
they went to sleep.

Chapter 2

That night, Brizee sat backstage. The guys went on to perform.
"Hey," Theresa said.
"Hey," Brizee said.
"So, I heard the news," Theresa said.
"Yeah, happy now," Brizee said.
"Yes, I am, Briz, you deserve to be happy, and Nick can make you happy,
hes a great guy," Theresa said.
"I know," Brizee said watching the TV.
"You want him, dont you," Theresa said.
"T, we just got together!" Brizee said.
"I bet you just want to fuck him senseless," Theresa said.
"THERESA!" Brizee said.
"I know you do," Theresa said.
"What part of just got together dont you understand," Brizee said.
"I know you want him, Briz, and you can get him, all you have to do is kiss
his neck and hes yours," Theresa said.
"And how would you know this?" Brizee asked.
"From his ex, she was a bitch, too," Theresa said.
"Hey Theresa," Willa said coming in.
"What are you doing here," Theresa said.
"Thats Willa," Brizee said.
"Yeah, it is," Theresa said.
"Hi, nice to meet you, so wheres Nicky," Willa said.
"Uh, hear the crowd, they are onstage performing," Theresa said.
"Okay," Willa said. She headed for the stage. Theresa ran to her.
"You cant go onstage while they are performing!" Theresa said. Willa
shoved her out of the way.
"Watch me," Willa said. She walked onstage and the music stopped. The guys
stopped and looked and saw her.
"Willa, what are you doing here," Nick said. She grabbed Nicks microphone.
"Im here to announce to one and all that Nick here is going to become the
first Backstreet daddy!" Willa said. The crowd gasped.
"Thats right, Im having Nicks baby!" Willa said.
"Are you crazy!" Nick yelled. Kevin came over.
"We would like proof," Kevin said. Willa lifted her shirt to reveal her
stomach.
"Im five months pregnant," Willa said. Nick looked at Kevin and walked
offstage. Theresa came over to him.
"Nicky," Theresa said. He threw his headset across the room. He sat down
and held his head in his hands. Brian, Howie, AJ, and Kevin came backstage.
"Nick, lets get one more song and then well deal with this," Brian said.
"God, I hate her!" Nick said.
"Thats not nice, Nicky," Willa said. Nick looked at her and got up and
walked over to her.
"What the hell do you want from me!" Nick said.
"I want you back, Nick," Willa said.
"FORGET IT!" Nick yelled.
"You had a part in this baby, too," Willa said.
"I dont care, Willa, I dont want to be near you!" Nick said.
"Nick, you always said you dont run away from your mistakes," Willa said.
"A mistake, you want to know what a mistake was, the biggest mistake I made
was being with you in the first place!" Nick yelled.
"But you were, okay, and you have to deal with it," Willa said.
"No," Nick said.
"We have to get married, Nick, its the right thing to do," Willa said.
"No," Nick said.
"Nick, man, I know you dont want this, but its the right thing to do,"
Howie said.
"D, whose side are you on, anyways," Nick said.
"Yours, of course, Nick," Howie said.
"Willa, we will need proof that its Nicks child," Kevin said.
"It is his child, I know it is," Willa said.
"But you cheated on him, all the time you were with Nick, you were cheating
on him, its possible that this baby isnt his, and we would like proof that
it is, and dont even think about making sure it comes out his, Willa,"
Brian said. Leighanne came in.
"Hi honey," Leighanne said.
"Hi baby," Brian said kissing her.
"Leighanne, help me," Willa said.
"Help you, yeah right, you hurt my husbands best friend too many times,"
Leighanne said.
"She claims shes pregnant with Nicks child, shes five months along,"
Brian said.
"Liar, whats the exact date you got pregnant," Leighanne said.
"October 10th," Willa said.
"I was never with you that night, Willa," Nick said.
"Fine, its not yours, okay, I just wanted someone to support it," Willa
said.
"You can do that by yourself, get the hell out of here," Nick said. Willa
left. Nick looked at Brizee. He went over to her.
"Hey," Nick said.
"I cant believe this," Brizee said.
"Does this change anything?" Nick asked.
"No, go on, you got a show to finish, well talk later," Brizee said. Nick
hugged her. The guys went back on. Nick announced to all the fans that Willa
lied. They finished the show and everyone went back to the hotel.

Chapter 3

Brizee woke up and looked around and saw that she was still on the plane.
She was going to Florida to see her best friend, Theresa, who was getting
married to Kevin of the Backstreet Boys. Theresa and Brizee have been
friends for four years. The plane landed and she got off and saw Theresa
standing there with the guys.
"Brizee!" Theresa said waving to her. Brizee waved back and walked over to
them. Theresa hugged her.
"Hey T," Brizee said.
"Thanks for coming, how was your flight," Theresa said.
"Well, I slept most of the way, so it was okay," Brizee said.
"Guys, this is my best friend, Brizee," Theresa said.
"Hi, Brizee," Kevin, Howie, AJ, Brian, and Nick said.
"Hi," Brizee said.
"So, how many bags do you have?" Theresa said.
"Just this and another bag," Brizee said. They went to the baggage claim
and got her bag and walked out to the limo.
"Briz," Theresa said.
"First time in one of these," Brizee said.
"Come on, girl, its fun!" Theresa said getting in. Brizee climbed in and
sat down. Nick sat down beside her.
"Hi," Nick said.
"Hi," Brizee said smiling at him. Everyone else got in and Kevin closed the
door.
"So, Brizee, hows Adam?" Theresa asked.
"We broke up," Brizee said.
"Whos Adam?" Nick asked.
"He was my boyfriend for two years," Brizee said.
"Briz, what happened," Theresa asked.
"It just wasnt working out, I told you about me and him fighting all the
time, well, we decided it would be best if we broke up, we are still
friends, though, its better that way, hes moved on to someone else, and
Im enjoying single life," Brizee said. She looked out the window.
"Briz, you are going to love being down here, its so wonderful," Theresa
said.
"I wanna see the ocean," Brizee said.
"Is that the only reason you came down here was the see the ocean," Theresa
said.
"Of course not, to get away from all that snow, and of course, to see you
get married to the man of your dreams, yes, Kevin, you are that person,"
Brizee said.
"I know, so tell me, how long has she liked me," Kevin said.
"A very long time, probably five years, we met online and talked for a year
or so and then we met in person and became really good friends and then she
moved to Florida and when she told me she met you, I couldnt believe it,"
Brizee said.
"Got any stories about how much she talked about me," Kevin said.
"She wrote stories about you, and she talked about you all the time, it was
Kevin this and Kevin that, she would talk about this and that," Brizee said.
"Not as much as she would talk about." Theresa started to say before
Brizee shot her a dirty look.
"Who?" Kevin asked. Theresa looked at Brizee. Brizee shook her head.
"Her favorite guy," Theresa said.
"And whos that?" Brian asked.
"Cant tell, youll just have to find out," Theresa said.
"Theresa, tell us," Kevin said.
"I cant, I was sworn to secrecy," Theresa said.
"Who is it, T," Nick said. Theresa looked at Brizee.
"Nick," Brizee said.
"What?" Nick said.
"Nick, you are her favorite Backstreet Boy," Theresa said.
"So you talked about me all the time," Nick said.
"Yeah," Brizee said.
"Cool," Nick said.
"So, where are we going?" Brizee asked.
"Well, the driver will drop us off at our houses," Kevin said.
"Where am I staying?" Brizee asked.
"With me," Nick said.
"What?" Brizee asked.
"Briz, Nick lives in Marathon, in the keys, you can see the ocean," Nick
said.
"Beach house?" Brizee asked.
"Yup," Nick said.
"Cool," Brizee said. The driver dropped Kevin, Theresa, Howie, AJ, and
Brian at their houses. The driver drove to Marathon.
"You will like my house," Nick said.
"I will?" Brizee asked.
"Yeah, its right there at the ocean, you can sit on the deck and watch the
waves," Nick said.
"Sounds good, Nick," Brizee said smiling.
They arrived at Nicks house and Brizee got out and looked around. She
looked at Nick.
"Nice house, nice view," Brizee said.
"Wait until you see the inside," Nick said. They went in and Brizee looked
around.
"Wow," Brizee said smiling. She made her way out back and saw the view of
the ocean.
"This is incredible!" Brizee said. Nick came out.
"Yeah, I thought so, too," Nick said.
"Im going to like it here," Brizee said.
"I hope you like it here, too," Nick said. She looked at him.
"So, where am I saying?" Brizee asked.
"Ill go make up a room," Nick said. He went upstairs. Brizee walked out
back and sat down and sighed
