Brizee sat there watching her twin brother, Nick, get married to his longtime girlfriend, Brittany. She looked up at her longtime boyfriend, Brian as he stood behind Nick. She smiled as she looked at him and knew she was the luckiest person ever. After Nick and Brittany walked up the aisle and the rest of the wedding party. All the guests followed and they all went to the reception at the Sheridan Suites. Brizee walked in and looked around. She felt arms around her waist and she was pulled back against a body and she looked and saw Brian. She smiled.

      “Hey baby, you look so sexy,” Brian said kissing her neck.

      “Thank you, you look sexy, too,” Brizee said.

      “I wish we got married,” Brian said.

      “You do?” Brizee asked.

      “Yes, so I can be with you forever and always,” Brian said.

      “But we only been together for three months,” Brizee said.

      “I know, but we have known each other for over ten years now,” Brian said.

      “I know,” Brizee said.

      “Your mom asked when we were getting married, I think since Nick got married, you should be married, too,” Brian said.

      “I’ll have a little talk with her,” Brizee said. She kissed his cheek and went over to Jane. She took her mother’s arm and pulled her out of the room.

      “Mama, Brian told me you asked him when he and I are getting married,” Brizee said.

      “Honey, I just want you to be happy,” Jane said.

      “I am happy, Mama,” Brizee said.

      “You sure, baby,” Jane said.

      “Yeah, Brian and I are doing fine,” Brizee said.

      “I’m glad you two are together, you two are so cute together,” Jane said.

      “I know, Mama, and I’m glad, too,” Brizee said looking at Brian as he was talking with Kevin and his wife Theresa. Then he saw Leighanne come up to Brian and kissed him deeply and she saw that Brian was very into it. She watched as Brian pulled back and smiled at her and kissed her again. Brizee felt her heart break.

      “You were saying, Mama,” Brizee said softly.

      “I was wrong,” Jane said. Brizee went to find Nick. She found him talking with Brittany and Bob.

      “Nicky,” Brizee said.

      “Hey sis,” Nick said hugging her. She rested her head on his chest as she held onto him.

      “Nick, Briz and I saw Brian and Leighanne kissing,” Jane said.

      “What!” Nick said angrily.

      “Leighanne came up and kissed Brian deeply, he didn’t push her away and then he pulled back and smiled at her and kissed her again,” Jane said. Nick kissed Brizee’s forehead and went to find Brian and grabbed him and pushed him against the wall.

      “You bastard!” Nick yelled. Everyone stopped and looked at them. Jane and Brizee came up to them.

      “Nick,” Brian said.

      “You hurt my sister, you bastard, she saw you and Leighanne kissing and so did my mother!” Nick yelled.

      “We are over, Brian,” Brizee said.

      “You stay away from my sister, you hear me, don’t go near her or touch her and any friendship you and I have is over!” Nick yelled.

      “Wait a minute, Brian was just helping me, my ex was here and wants me back and I don’t want him back and Brian was helping me get rid of him,” Leighanne said.

      “Her ex is abusive,” Brian said. Brizee shook her head and walked off. Nick let Brian go and Brian ran after Brizee.

      “Briz, wait!” Brian said grabbing her arm.

      “Let me go, you still kissed her, that hurt me, Brian, it broke my heart!” Brizee said.

      “Briz, I love you,” Brian said.

      “If you loved me, you wouldn’t have touched her,” Brizee said.

      “Briz, please, I still care about her,” Brian said.

      “Then go be with her, you and I are over, the end, finished!” Brizee said. She walked away. She got into her car and drove home. She went in and slammed the door. She laid on the couch and cried.

Three days later, Brian called nonstop. She left the phone off the hook to stop him. But she didn’t know that her mother was trying to call. She hung up and the phone rang.

      “Hello,” Brizee said.

      “Brizee, it’s Mom, there’s been an accident, it’s Nick, he and Brittany just back from their honeymoon and were on their way home,” Jane said.

      “Where are you,” Brizee said.

      “At the County Hospital,” Jane said. She hung up and grabbed her purse and locked up and ran to her car and drove to the hospital. She ran in and ran up to the VIP floor and saw her parents, sisters, and brother, and Kevin, Theresa, Howie, AJ, and Brian. She ran to her mother and they hugged.

      “What happened,” Brizee said.

      “Nick fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a telephone pole, Brittany is fine, just a broken leg and some bruises, and a concussion, but Nick is in a coma, they don’t know if he is going to make it,” Jane said. Brizee hugged her and cried.

      “Mama, he can’t die, he can’t,” Brizee said.

      “I know, sweetie, I know, I can’t lose him either, none of us can,” Jane said holding her eldest daughter close as she looked at Bob. He came over and hugged both of them. Brizee looked up.

      “Daddy,” Brizee said hugging him. Bob held her close. She pulled away and went over to the window and looked out. Brian came over to her.

      “Briz, I know you don’t want to talk to me, but I wanted to be here for you guys, I still care and I always will,” Brian said.

      “Brian, I can’t deal with all this right now, I just feel like my life is falling apart,” Brizee said. Brian put his hands on her shoulders.

      “Briz, I love you, I only love you, I will do anything to take away the hurt you felt from what I did, I want to be here for you,” Brian said. Brizee looked at him. She hugged him.

      “I love you, too,” Brizee said. She cried as he held her. The doctor came out. Brizee ran over to him.

      “Is my brother okay,” Brizee said.

      “And you are?” the doctor asked.

      “Dr. Sanders, this is Brizee, Nick’s twin sister,” Jane said.

      “He is awake and going to be fine, he’s asking for you, Brizee,” Dr. Sanders said. Brizee followed him to Nick’s room. She went in and saw him and went over to him.

      “Nicky,” Brizee said.

      “Hey sis,” Nick said. Brizee hugged him gently.

      “I thought I was going to lose you,” Brizee said.

      “You will never lose me,” Nick said.

      “Nick, Brian’s out in the waiting room,” Brizee said.

      “You took him back, didn’t you,” Nick said.

      “I was weak, I was so worried about you that I would do anything in the state I was in,” Brizee said.

      “He kissed his ex in front of you, Brizee,” Nick said.

      “I know, I know, he said he loves me and only me, and he would do anything to make it up to me, I didn’t know what else to say,” Brizee said.

      “Get out,” Nick said.

      “Nick, please,” Brizee said.

      “If you are going to be with that piece of slime, then you don’t deserve to be my sister,” Nick said.

      “Nick, you are the most important person in my life, no one, not even Brian could come first,” Brizee said.

      “I said get out!” Nick said. Brizee ran from the room crying. She ran into the waiting room. Brian came over.

      “Briz,” Brian said.

      “I can’t be with you!” Brizee cried. She ran out the door. Jane went to Nick’s room.

      “Nick, what did you do to your twin sister,” Jane said.

      “I don’t have a twin sister anymore,” Nick said.

      “Nick, why,” Jane said.

      “She’s back with the asshole I used to call a best friend,” Nick said. Jane looked at her eldest son.

      “Nick, she just ended it with him, as she ran out crying, your dad is looking for her right now, why would you say you don’t have a twin sister, you know you do, you can’t forget her, she’s a part of you, and she loves you,” Jane said.

      “Mama,” Nick said.

      “Honey, she and Brian care about each other, that will never change, yes, Brian made a mistake and he knows it, but he loves your twin sister, he has been calling her non-stop but tonight is the first night that they have talked,” Jane said.

      “Mama, I don’t know,” Nick said.

      “Nick, no one can take your place in her life, you are the most important person in her life,” Jane said.

      “Find her,” Nick said. Bob came in with Brizee.

      “Here,” Bob said.

      “Briz, come here, sis,” Nick said. Brizee went over and hugged him. Nick held her tight.

      “I’m sorry, sis,” Nick said.

      “I love you, Nicky,” Brizee said.

      “I love you, too, sis,” Nick said. She laid beside him and they hugged each other.

Chapter 2

Nick and Brizee laid in Nick’s bed at the hospital. She rested her head gently on his chest.

      “So you broke up with Brian?” Nick asked.

      “Yeah,” Brizee said.

      “About what I said, you can be with him if you want to,” Nick said. Brizee looked up at him.

      “I can’t, he did kiss Leighanne and I saw it and there is no going back,” Brizee said.

      “But you took him back after you got here,” Nick said.

      “I was weak, and scared that something would happen to you and I would be alone,” Brizee said.

      “Briz, I know he loves you,” Nick said.

      “Nicky, can we just move on from this, I can’t be with him again,” Brizee said. They heard a click and Brizee looked and saw nothing. She got up and went out the door and looked around.  She came back in and laid down with Nick and they talked. The next day, Brizee sat with Nick when Jane came in with a paper. She was angry and handed Brizee the paper and Brizee looked at it. The headline said: BACKSTREET BOY NICK CARTER HAVING AN AFFAIR!! The picture showed Brizee and Nick in the hospital bed.

      “Those assholes!” Brizee said. Nick looked at it and groaned.

      “Oh geez, I’m having an affair with my twin sister, those jerks,” Nick said.

      “Nick, they are releasing you now,” Jane said. Dr. Sanders came in and after a final checkup, Nick was released.

      “Where’s Britt?” Nick asked.

      “She’s at home, Leslie and BJ are with her,” Jane said.

      “Does she know about the paper,” Nick said.

      “Yes, she knows the truth, Nick, she knows you are not having an affair with your sister, we are going to the newspaper office and you can tell them the truth, together,” Jane said. They drove to the newspaper office and Brizee went in with Nick behind her.

      “All right, who’s in charge here,” Nick said.

      “I’m the editor of this paper,” a man said coming towards them.

      “This paper is garbage, you had no right printing this garbage,” Nick said.

      “Freedom of the Press,” the editor said.

      “Yeah, right,” Nick said.

      “Excuse me, sir, but Nick is my twin brother, okay, he is not having an affair, he was in a car accident and in the hospital,” Brizee said. Jane came forward.

      “You do know that Nick has a twin sister,” Jane said.

      “Yes, we know,” the editor said.

      “The person in that photo with Nick is right here,” Jane said.

      “Hi, I’m Brizee, Nick’s twin sister,” Brizee said flashing the Carter grin.

      “That’s what I mean by the paper being garbage, I’m not having an affair, and certainly not with my twin sister,” Nick said.

      “I am so sorry, my deepest apologies, I didn’t realize that this was you in the picture, Ms. Carter, we will print the real story,” the editor said.

      “Thank you,” Brizee said. They left and went home. Brizee helped Nick into bed.

      “Thanks, sis,” Nick said. Brizee smiled and kissed his forehead.

      “Love you,” Brizee said.

      “Love you, too,” Nick said. Brizee left the room. The doorbell rang. Brizee opened the door and there were reporters.

      “Is it true, are you having an affair with Nick Carter,” one reporter asked.

      “Hold it, okay, I’m going to answer the question, no I’m not having an affair with Nick Carter, I’m Brizee Carter, Nick’s twin sister, Nick is not having an affair, that picture of Nick in bed, the girl with him is me, okay, now would you please get off on my brother’s property,” Brizee said. She shut the door. The doorbell rang again. Brizee groaned and flung open the door and there stood Brian. He looked at the reporters and took Brizee in his arms and kissed her hungrily. Brizee jumped into his arms and they kissed deeply. The reporters were taking pictures.

      “Everyone, I have an announcement to make, Brizee and I are a couple, and we are deeply in love and she is in fact the twin sister of my bandmate, Nick Carter,” Brian said.  The reporters nodded and packed up their stuff and left. Brizee looked at Brian.

      “Thank you,” Brizee said.

      “It’s no problem, Nick doing ok?” Brian asked.

      “Yeah, he’s resting,” Brizee said.

      “Briz, I came over to talk to you about us, I know you said you couldn’t see me anymore, but I just can’t stop thinking about you and I am truly sorry for hurting you and I don’t want to hurt you again, please give us another chance, I miss being with you,” Brian said. Brizee looked at him.

      “Brian, I can’t get the image of you and Leighanne kissing out of my head,” Brizee said.

      “Brizee, I will do anything to make it up to you, anything,” Brian said. She looked at him. She turned away and closed her eyes.

      “I don’t know,” Brizee said.

      “Brizee,” Brian said. She turned and saw him down on his knee holding up a beautiful ring.

      “Brian,” Brizee said.

      “Will you marry me?” Brian asked. She looked at him and the ring as tears ran down her cheeks.

Chapter 3

She looked at him. She bit her lip and looked at the ring and looked at him and nodded. He slid the ring on her hand and kissed her hand and stood up and hugged her close. He kissed her deeply. They went upstairs and went into Nick’s bedroom. Nick looked up and saw Brian.

      “Nicky, Brian and I are back together and we are getting married,” Brizee said. Nick grinned.

      “Congratulations, sis!” Nick said smiling. Brizee sat down and hugged him.

      “Thanks, Nicky,” Brizee said.

      “Are you sure you know what you are doing?” Nick whispered in her ear.

      “Yeah,” Brizee whispered. Nick kissed her cheek and Brizee got up and stood by Brian.

That night, Jane, Bob, BJ, Leslie, Aaron, and Angel came over. Kevin, Theresa, Howie, and AJ came over. They all sat in the living room with Brian, Brittany and Nick. Brizee was in the kitchen. She walked into the living room. She sat down beside Brian.

      “So, what is the big news, Brizee,” Jane said.

      “Brian and I are engaged,” Brizee said holding up her hand.

      “There is no wedding date, we are taking this engagement slow and easy,” Brian said.

Three months later, Brian and Brizee got married with their family and friends surrounding them. They went off on their honeymoon in Hawaii. Three months later, Brizee found out that she was expecting her and Brian’s first child. Six months after that, she gave birth to a baby boy. They named him Brian Harold Littrell.

Brittany and Nick enjoyed married life and they found out that they were having a child. Brittany gave birth to a baby girl two months after Brizee gave birth to Brian Jr. They named her Laura Marie Carter.
