Hayley and Ally arrived at their new house in Florida. They started unpacking when Ally looked outside.

      “I wonder who lives next door,” Ally said. Hayley looked out and saw two guys playing basketball in the driveway.

      “Let’s go introduce ourselves,” Hayley said. They went out the door and walked next door and the two guys turned and saw them.

      “Hi there,” one of them asked. Hayley recognized them. It was Brian Littrell and Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys.

      “Hi, I’m Hayley and this is Ally, we just moved next door,” Hayley said.

      “Hi, I’m Brian and this is Nick, we live here,” Brian said.

      “We know who you guys are, we are fans, we are not stalkers, we didn’t know who lived next door when we bought the house,” Ally said.

      “We actually think of you guys as normal guys,” Hayley said.

      “We are normal, music is just what we do, not who we are,” Nick said.

      “We hope you guys will come around again, we would both like to let to know you two,” Brian said.

      “Hey how about coming over later for a pool party, just the four of us, like a welcome to the neighborhood kind of thing,” Nick said.

      “Sure,” Ally said.

      “We’ll come over later,” Hayley said. They said bye and went back to their own house and continued unpacking.

      “I like Brian,” Ally said.

      “I like Nick,” Hayley said. Ally looked out the window and saw Brian leave.

      “Nick’s alone, go over there!” Ally said.

      “Ally, I can talk to him when we go over there later,” Hayley said.

      “Hayley, go, make a move!” Ally said. She pushed Hayley out the door. Hayley shook her head and went over and rang the doorbell. Nick opened the door and saw her.

      “Hi there,” Nick said smiling.

      “Hi, I saw Brian leave and I was wondering if you needed help with anything,” Hayley said. Nick smiled.

      “Come in,” Nick said. She went in and he closed the door.

      “Brian went to the store to get food, I was just getting stuff ready,” Nick said as he came up behind her. She looked around the house.

      “Nice house, nicer than mine and Ally’s,” Hayley said. Nick let his eyes search her body. She turned and saw him looking at her.

      “Yeah,” Nick said.

      “You were looking at me, weren’t you,” Hayley said. Nick smiled.

      “I never noticed how beautiful you are and you don’t even try to look beautiful, I like that in a girl, someone who is not concerned how she looks,” Nick said. Hayley blushed.

      “You like me?” Hayley asked.

      “Yeah, I do,” Nick said. He moved closer to her and they stared at each other.

      “I like you, too,” Hayley said.

      “We just met today but I have this feeling that we were meant to meet,” Nick said.

      “I had a feeling, too, when we met in the driveway, I never expected to meet you or live next door to you,” Hayley said.

      “It’s fate,” Nick said.

      “Yeah, I think so, too,” Hayley said.

 

Chapter 2

 

Hayley headed back to her house to get ready. Nick stood there in the kitchen.

      “She’s hot, I know she is the one I have been looking for,” Nick said. Brian came in.

      “Talking to yourself again, Frack,” Brian said.

      “Hayley was here, god, man, I just noticed how beautiful she is,” Nick said.

      “You like her, don’t you,” Brian said.

      “Yeah, I do, and she likes me, she likes the real me, the one she met out in the driveway,” Nick said.

      “I like Ally, she’s hot,” Brian said.

      “Tonight, you get Ally and I get Hayley, we split off into pairs and talk to them alone,” Nick said.

            “I like that idea, I really want to get to know Ally before anything happens,” Brian said. The doorbell rang. Nick opened the door and saw Hayley standing there. Ally came up behind her.

      “We are early, I know but someone was impatient,” Hayley said looking at Ally.

      “Sorry, I was bored,” Ally said.

      “Come on in,” Nick said. They came in and Nick closed the door.

Later that night, Nick and Hayley were sitting in the hot tub while Brian and Ally were in the pool.

      “You look beautiful in that bikini,” Nick said.

      “You look hot in those trunks,” Hayley said.

      “You don’t I’m fat, do you,” Nick said.

      “Nope,” Hayley said. Nick moved closer to her.

      “Can I kiss you?” Nick asked.

      “I was hoping you would,” Hayley said. He leaned in and kissed her lips softly. The kiss deepened. Brian and Ally had gone inside.  Nick and Hayley continued kissing. He pulled her into his lap so that she was straddling him. His hands rested on her hips as they kissed passionately.

Brian and Ally were on the couch, talking about stuff.

      “Are you sure about leaving them alone?” Ally asked.

      “They are fine,” Brian said.

      “How is Nick with girls?” Ally asked.

      “He’s had his heart broken, he’s been trying to find the right girl and he has said that Hayley is the one he’s been looking for,” Brian said.

      “Same for Hayley, she’s had her heart broken, she’s been waiting for the right guy to come along,” Ally said.

      “They are perfect for each other,” Brian said.

      “Yeah,” Ally said.

      “What about you?” Brian asked.

      “I haven’t had a boyfriend before, I have been waiting for the right guy to come along, I have dated though, but all they wanted was sex, something I was not looking for, I was looking for a guy who wants to talk, who doesn’t want only sex, you know, just wants to be my boyfriend,” Ally said.

      “Will you be my girlfriend?” Brian asked.

      “I believe I will, because I feel like I can talk to you about anything and you understand what I’m saying and I really like you a lot and you are not after my body,” Ally said.

      “I’m a country guy, I have been raised right,” Brian said.

      “I just don’t want to get hurt,” Ally said.

      “Believe me, I don’t hurt women,” Brian said.

      “I have a feeling you are not that type of guy who hurts people,” Ally said.  Brian smiled and leaned in and kissed her softly.

Nick and Hayley were making out in the hot tub.

      “Hayley,” Nick said between kisses.

      “Yeah,” Hayley said.

      “Will you be my girlfriend?” Nick asked. Hayley pulled back and looked at him.

      “Nick, as much as I want to, I can’t right now, I have been through a lot and I’m scared to be in another relationship,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her and got out of the hot tub. He went inside and went upstairs. Hayley got out and grabbed her clothes and ran into the house and ran out the front door and ran to her house and went upstairs and collapsed on the bed. Ally came in.

      “Hayley, what happened,” Ally said.

      “He asked me to be his girlfriend and I said no, now he hates me, what have I done!” Hayley said crying. Ally hugged her.

      “I’ll talk to him,” Ally said.

      “Ally, just leave it alone,” Hayley said.

      “No,” Ally said. She went out the door and went over to the guys’ house. She rang the doorbell. Brian opened the door and saw her.

      “Hey, where’s Nick,” Ally said.

      “Upstairs, in his room,” Brian said. Ally went upstairs with Brian behind her. Brian knocked on Nick’s door. Nick opened it and saw them.

      “What,” Nick said.

      “I want to talk to you about Hayley,” Ally said.

      “I don’t,” Nick said. He closed the door. Brian opened the door and they went in.

      “Well, too bad, you have to listen to this,” Ally said.

      “What,” Nick said.

      “Nick, Brian told me that you have had your heartbroken, so has Hayley, and the last relationship she was in, it was bad,” Ally said.

      “Bad?” Nick asked.

      “She was breaking up with her last boyfriend and he got angry and beat her up, she had to go to the hospital because it was so bad, a couple of ribs were broken and her ankle was fractured,” Ally said.

      “Why did she say no to me?” Nick asked.

      “Because she’s scared, Nick, they never caught her ex-boyfriend and she’s afraid that he’s going to come back for her, she doesn’t want anyone else to get hurt, if he finds out that she’s with another guy, who knows what he’ll do,” Ally said.

 

Chapter 3

 

Nick looked at Ally and Brian and looked out the window. They all heard a gunshot. They looked at each other and ran out the door and ran down the stairs and out the front door over to the Ally and Hayley’s house and ran inside and they heard crying and ran upstairs to Hayley’s room and found her sitting on her bed, hugging her legs. On the floor was a guy bleeding. Brian checked him.

      “He’s dead,” Brian said. Hayley cried. Ally looked at the guy.

      “It’s Mark, her ex-boyfriend,” Ally said.

      “Is this the one who put her in the hospital?” Brian asked.

      “Yes,” Hayley said crying. Ally went and sat down and hugged her. Brian called the police. Nick sat on the bed.

      “What happened?” Nick asked.

      “He broke in and tried to rape me, he punched me in the stomach a couple of times and in the back, he had a gun, I knew that if I didn’t fight back, he was going to kill me so we struggled over the gun and it went off, the gun was pointed towards him, it was self-defense,” Hayley said crying. They heard sirens and Brian went downstairs. Ally held Hayley. The cops came in and checked Mark.  Officer Davis, who handled the case when Hayley was assaulted, came in. He came over to Hayley.

      “Did he hurt you?” Officer Davis said.

      “He hit me in the back and stomach, he tried to rape me,” Hayley said.

      “Can you tell us what happened here?” one of the officers asked. Hayley told them what happened.

      “I took self defense classes in case he came after me again,” Hayley said.

      “Officers, Hayley has never lied to me about anything, she wouldn’t hide the truth, she told the truth, she is an honest person,” Ally said.

      “We don’t believe she is not telling the truth, we believe she is, Officer Davis told us about her and Mark and what he did to her and we believe she is telling the truth, the front door looks like it was kicked open, it is clearly self defense,” one officer said. His partner agreed.

Three days later, everything was back to normal. Ally and Brian were out on a date. Hayley was hanging out with Nick.

      “Nick, I am sorry for saying no,” Hayley said.

      “Ally explained everything, I know you didn’t want anything to happen to me,” Nick said.

      “Nick, will you be my boyfriend?” Hayley asked. Nick looked at her and smiled.

      “You bet I will, come here,” Nick said pulling her close. He kissed her deeply.

      “Promise you will never hurt me,” Hayley said.

      “I promise with all my heart and soul,” Nick said. She smiled and they kissed again.

      “Good,” Hayley said.

      “I never got your last name,” Nick said.

      “Hardin,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

      “Oh my god,” Nick said.

      “What,” Hayley said. He pulled away.

      “Hayley Hardin, did you go to school in Tampa?” Nick asked.

      “Yeah, elementary school until my parents moved us to Miami,” Hayley said.

      “You don’t remember me in your class?” Nick asked.

      “It’s been too far back for me to remember,” Hayley said.

      “I was in your class, I remember you sitting by me and making fun of my voice, laughing at me all the time,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him.

      “I’m sorry, I honestly don’t remember,” Hayley said. Ally and Brian came in.

      “I can’t believe you don’t remember!” Nick said. He went out the door. Ally looked at Hayley.

      “What happened,” Ally said.

      “He didn’t know my last name and I told him and he asked if I went to school in Tampa, I said yeah, I went to elementary school until my parents moved us to Miami, he said he remembers me sitting by him, making fun of his voice and laughing at him all the time, I told him I don’t remember, I honestly don’t remember it,” Hayley said sitting down.

      “You made fun of his voice?” Brian asked.

      “He said I did, I don’t remember it,” Hayley said.

      “Maybe your memory is playing tricks on you, you did get beaten pretty badly and Mark did hit you in the head, you had memory loss for a little while but it came back, I guess it didn’t come back fully,” Ally said. Brian went out the door.

      “I asked him to be my boyfriend before he knew my last name, I don’t know what will happen now,” Hayley said. She went next door with Ally. She knocked on the door. Brian opened it.

      “He’s locked himself in his room,” Brian said.

      “Does he have a picture of him from school?” Hayley asked.

      “I’ll find out,” Brian said. He went upstairs. He came back down with Nick. Nick handed her the picture. She looked at him and closed her eyes.

Hayley looked at Nick as they sat in class. Nick said something to her.

       “You have a girly voice,” Hayley said.

       “I do not,” Nick said.

       “Yes, you do, it sounds like a girl’s voice, I can’t believe you talk like that,” Hayley said laughing.

       “Stop it!” Nick said. Hayley kept laughing.

Hayley opened her eyes and looked at Nick and sat down. Ally sat down.

      “Hayley,” Ally said.

      “It just came back to me, Nick, I am so sorry, I can’t believe I made fun of you, I was so stupid!” Hayley said.

      “Do I have a girly voice now?” Nick asked.

      “God no, and you didn’t then, everyone is different, I just was a dumb little girl,” Hayley said. Nick knelt down in front of her.

      “I forgive you,” Nick said.

      “Is there anything else that happened?” Hayley asked. Nick looked at her.

      “No,” Nick said. Ally and Brian went out back. Nick sat next to her and hugged her. She looked at him and smiled.

      “Right now, your voice is very sexy,” Hayley said.

      “Really,” Nick said.

      “Yeah, I think you have a very sexy voice,” Hayley said. Nick smiled and kissed her lips softly and hugged her. They sat on the couch and cuddled.

 

Chapter 4

 

Three months later, Nick and Brian were in the studio working a new album with the guys. Ally and Hayley were hanging out at their house.  Ally was watching TV. Hayley went into the kitchen.  Ally saw something on TV and Hayley came in and saw a picture of Nick on TV kissing and hugging Willa Ford. She sat down on the chair.

      “They said it was taken today,” Ally said.

      “I can’t believe this,” Hayley said.

      “As you can see, a picture of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter with his ex, Willa Ford, hugging and kissing her, although we don’t know the whole truth behind the picture, it may seem that the former couple may be getting back together or already are, we will keep you informed,” the reporter said. Hayley ran upstairs and collapsed on the bed crying.

Ally sat there in the living room. The phone rang. She picked it up.

      “Hello,” Ally said.

      “Hey sweetheart,” Brian said. Ally smiled.

      “Hey, how’s the tour?” Ally asked.

      “It’s good, just bad press, that picture of Willa and Nick kissing and hugging, that was taken when they were still a couple,” Brian said.

      “So, he’s being faithful to Hayley?” Ally asked.

      “Yes, he is, he can’t stop talking about her and how much he misses her, he was going to call her later but that report came on, he figured Hayley saw it and wants nothing to do with him,” Brian said.

      “She’s crying her eyes out,” Ally said.

      “Let me talk to her,” Brian said. Ally went upstairs and sat on Hayley’s bed.

      “Hayley, Brian wants to talk to you,” Ally said. Hayley sat up and took the phone.

      “Brian,” Hayley said.

      “Hey Hayley, what you saw on TV is not true, that pic was taken back when they were a couple, I don’t know how they found it but Nick isn’t cheating on you or getting back with Willa, he is being completely faithful to you,” Brian said.

      “Really?” Hayley said smiling.

      “Yes, he is, I wouldn’t lie about it, honesty is the best policy in a relationship and friendship, Hayley, he won’t stop talking about you and how much he is missing you,” Brian said.

      “Where is he?” Hayley asked.

      “Right here,” Brian said. He handed the phone to Nick.

      “Hayley,” Nick said.

      “Nick, I was scared,” Hayley said.

      “Baby, you have nothing to worry about, I would never cheat on you, I love you, Hayley,” Nick said.

      “I love you, too, I miss you so much,” Hayley said wiping her eyes.

      “I miss you, too, baby, I can’t wait to get home and hold you in my arms,” Nick said. Hayley smiled.

      “Me either,” Nick said.

      “I better let you go,” Hayley said.

      “I’ll call you later, okay,” Nick said.

      “Okay, I love you, Nick,” Hayley said.

      “I love you, too, more than you know,” Nick said. They hung up and Hayley looked at Ally.

      “How about surprising the guys,” Hayley said.

      “I know, we will move in with them, only I’ll move Nick’s stuff here and move into the guys’ house with Brian,” Ally said.

      “Let’s do it, I’m glad we have keys to the house,” Hayley said.

Three days later, they had everything switched around. All Nick’s stuff was at the girls’ house and all of Ally’s stuff was at the guys’ house.  Hayley smiled at the thought of living with Nick.

Three months later, the girls were at the beach and the guys were returning home. Brian and Nick walked into their house and noticed something different.

      “Nick,” Brian said.

      “What,” Nick said.

      “All your stuff is gone,” Brian said. He looked around and he ran upstairs to his room and found it completely empty.

      “Oh my god,” Nick said coming downstairs. He checked the garage.

      “My cars are all gone,” Nick said. They heard voices and went out back and saw Ally and Hayley walking up to the house.

      “I can’t believe those guys, dumping sand on everyone, I have sand everywhere,” Ally said.

      “Girls!” Brian said. They saw the guys and smiled. Ally jumped on Brian while Hayley jumped on Nick. The guys looked at them.

      “What exactly happened to my things and my cars,” Nick said.

      “Um, well, we did a little moving,” Ally said.

      “Moving?” Nick asked.

      “Yeah, we kind of switched houses,” Ally said.

      “Why is my stuff here?” Brian said.

      “Well, I moved in here and we moved Nick’s stuff over there to our house,” Ally said.

      “What!” Nick said.

      “We thought we would surprise you guys, that way we wouldn’t be going back and forth to see you guys, I would see Brian all the time, Nick, you would see Hayley all the time, we thought we would live with our guys,” Ally said.

      “You went along with this?” Nick asked.

      “You don’t want to live with me?” Hayley asked.

      “I didn’t say that,” Nick said.

      “You don’t seem happy about it,” Hayley said.

      “I’m just not happy about the way it was done, I wanted to be here when that decision was made,” Nick said. Hayley shook her head and went to the house. Nick stood there. He looked at Brian.

      “I really wanted to live with her,” Nick said.

      “Go over there and prove it,” Brian said. Nick ran to the house. Brian hugged Ally.

      “I love the surprise,” Brian said.

      “I know about your beliefs and all but I just really wanted to live with you, to live with my guy,” Ally said. Brian kissed her deeply. They went inside.

Nick went into the house and went up to Hayley’s room and saw his stuff there. Hayley sat by the window. Nick went and knelt down beside her.

      “I’m sorry, I was just shocked and surprised, I love the surprise, I want to live with you,” Nick said.

      “Really,” Hayley said.

      “God yes,” Nick said. Hayley hugged him.

      “Welcome home,” Hayley said. He smiled and kissed her deeply. They sat on the bed.

 

Chapter 5

 

Hayley woke up the next morning, wrapped in Nick’s arms. She smiled and looked up at Nick and saw him looking at her.

      “Hey beautiful, good morning,” Nick said.

      “Good morning,” Hayley said. They kissed. They were kissing heavily when Ally and Brian burst through the door.

      “Guys, we are getting married,” Ally said.

      “Yeah, we are heading to Las Vegas right now, come on!” Brian said.

      “Hold it, are you two insane, are you moving too fast??” Nick said.

      “We want to get married, we want to be together forever,” Brian said.

      “Brian, this is so unlike you,” Nick said.

      “I know, but I love Ally and I don’t want to wait any longer,” Brian said.

      “We’ll come with you,” Hayley said getting up and going into the bathroom to change. Nick got his clothes on and Hayley came out dressed and they went to the airport and got on the next flight to Las Vegas. Hayley and Ally were talking.

      “Hey, did you and Nick have sex or make love?” Ally asked quietly.

      “We haven’t gone that far yet, all we have done is make out,” Hayley said quietly.

      “You want him, don’t you,” Ally whispered.

      “Yeah, I do,” Hayley whispered. Brian and Nick looked over the seat.

      “What are you two whispering about,” Nick said.

      “Nothing, just girl talk,” Hayley said.

      “Oh really,” Nick said.

      “Yeah,” Hayley said. Nick looked at Brian.

      “They were talking about us,” Nick said.

      “Yeah,” Brian said.

      “Yeah right,” Hayley said.

      “Guys, sit down,” Ally said. They gave them puppy dog looks and sat in their seats.

They arrived in Las Vegas and went to a hotel and checked in and they went up to their suites. Nick and Hayley walked into their suite and he closed the door and locked it and picked her up and ran to the bed and they collapsed on the bed and began making out.

      “Nick?” Hayley asked as he began kissing her neck. She closed her eyes.

      “Yeah,” Nick said.

      “Have you ever thought of making love?” Hayley asked. Nick pulled back.

      “Yeah, I have, I am ready whenever you are, all you have to do is say the words and we’ll do it,” Nick said. Hayley smiled.

      “I want you to make love to me,” Hayley said. Nick looked away.

      “Hayley,” Nick said. Hayley got up.

      “What is it, you don’t want to make love to me,” Hayley said.

      “Hayley, god, I do, more than anything, but I don’t have any protection on me, unless you are on birth control,” Nick said. Hayley sat down.

      “No, I mean, I was, but I stopped after Adam was killed, I was on them in case he got me and raped me and I wouldn’t get pregnant by him,” Hayley said.

      “Have you ever had sex or make love with anyone?” Nick asked.

      “No, I’m a virgin,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her. He pulled her into his arms.   

      “I am honored that you want me to be your first, I want to be your first everything, I love you, Hayley,” Nick said nuzzling her neck.

      “I love you, too, god, Nick, I can’t take it anymore, I want you now!” Hayley said pushing him down on the bed and sat on top of him.

      “Hayley,” Nick said.

      “Nick, please make love to me,” Hayley said.

      “We need protection,” Nick said.

      “I don’t care!” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

      “Hayley,” Nick said.

      “Nick, please, I don’t care if I get pregnant by you, I want to be your everything, I want you, I want you to make love to me now, I don’t care if we don’t have protection, I have wanted to make love with you ever since we first kissed, I can’t wait any longer,” Hayley said.

      “I can run down to the drug store for protection,” Nick said.

      “No, I don’t want you leaving,” Hayley said.

      “Hayley, are you trying to get pregnant with my child, is that why you want me,” Nick said.

      “That is not one of the reasons, Nick, I want to make love with you, I want us to share something special, to prove our love for each other,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

      “Hayley, we know we love each other, we don’t have to make love to know that,” Nick said sitting up and holding her in his arms. She cried against her shoulder.

      “I’m scared, I’m scared that I’m going to lose you!” Hayley cried. Nick held her.

 

Chapter 6

 

Nick sat there on the bed holding Hayley in his arms. He looked down and saw her asleep. He gently laid her on the bed and got up and got his disguise on and went down to the drug store in the hotel and bought protection. He headed back up to the room when he saw Brian walking down the hall.

      “Hey Frack,” Brian said.

      “Hey,” Nick said.

      “You okay?” Brian asked.

      “Come here,” Nick said. They went into Nick’s suite and sat down.

      “What’s wrong,” Brian said.

      “I’m worried about Hayley,” Nick said

      “What do you mean,” Brian said.

      “She broke down crying because she is scared of losing me, she wanted me to make love to her but I couldn’t without protection,” Nick said.

      “Nick, I can’t tell you want to do, just don’t let her go and don’t leave her or cheat on her,” Brian said.

      “I’m not going to hurt her, I couldn’t, I love her so much,” Nick said.

      “Marry her,” Brian said.

      “It’s too soon, man,” Nick said.

      “You love her and want her forever, right?” Brian asked.

      “Yeah,” Nick said.

      “You two get married with us tomorrow,” Brian said. Nick thought about it.

      “Okay,” Nick said. Brian left and Nick went into the bedroom and put the protection by the bed. He laid down beside Hayley and pulled her close to him. She woke up and saw him.

      “Hey, where’d you go?” Hayley asked.

      “I had an errand to run, are you okay, baby,” Nick said stroking her cheek.

      “Yeah, what did you get?” Hayley asked.

      “You will find out later,” Nick said.

      “Okay,” Hayley said. Nick kissed her softly.

      “How about getting married tomorrow,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him.

      “You want to marry me?” Hayley asked.

      “Yes, I do, I want to be with you forever,” Nick said kissing her again.

      “Nick, what’s in the bag,” Hayley said. He picked it up and pulled out the contents. Hayley looked and saw a box of condoms. She looked at Nick.

      “I got protection now,” Nick said. Hayley kissed him hungrily.

      “Make love to me, Nick,” Hayley said.

      “Marry me,” Nick said.

      “God yes,” Hayley said. He kissed her deeply.

      “We are making love after we get married,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him.

      “Nick,” Hayley said.

      “I want your first time to be special, what better time than our wedding night,” Nick said kissing her neck. Nick’s cell phone rang. Nick groaned and answered it.

      “Hello, hey Kev, what, um, we took a trip, just me, Brian and the girls, yeah, just a mini vacation, um, can’t tell you, we don’t need a big brother around to watch over us, if Brian wouldn’t tell you, what makes you think I would, I’m not going to, just leave us alone,” Nick said. He hung up and looked at her. She rested her head on his shoulder.

      “Nick,” Hayley said.

      “I’m sick of him trying to be the big brother all the time, he was wondering where we were, if I told him, he would have been out here,” Nick said. Hayley hugged him.

The next night, Brian, Ally, Nick, and Hayley were at the wedding chapel. Ally was wearing a white dress that was strapless and the skirt went to her ankles. Hayley was wearing a sleeveless white dress. The skirt went down to her knees. They were waiting for their names to be called. Nick wrapped his arms around Hayley from behind and buried his face in her neck.

      “I can’t wait until later,” Nick whispered. Hayley smiled and rested her head against his.

      “Me either,” Hayley whispered.

      “Hayley Hardin and Nick Carter,” the minister said. Nick and Hayley held hands and walked up to the front.

      “Can we have a double wedding with our friends,” Nick said. The minister nodded and motioned Ally and Brian to come up front. They all stood there looking at the minister. He began the ceremony. Ally and Brian exchanged vows and rings. Nick and Hayley exchanged vows and rings. The minister was about to pronounce them husband and wife when the doors burst open and they saw Kevin, Kristin, Howie and AJ run in.

      “Stop this wedding!” Kevin said.

      “Don’t, sir, continue please,” Brian said.

      “Yeah, he’s just being a big brother which is what we don’t need right now,” Nick said.

      “I now pronounce you husband and wife, Hayley and Nick, Brian and Ally, you may kiss your brides,” the minister said. Brian kissed Ally. Nick kissed Hayley. They looked at Kevin.

      “Kevin, this was our choice, we wanted to get married, there is nothing you can say that will change our minds, where is the marriage licenses,” Brian said. Brian and Ally signed their marriage license. Nick and Hayley signed their marriage license. They looked at Kevin.

      “It’s my life, Kevin, I wanted to marry Ally, I am now married to her,” Brian said taking Ally’s hand and walking out of the chapel. Kevin looked at Nick who held Hayley close to him.

      “I’m not ending the marriage, it was my idea,” Nick said.

      “How long have you two known each other?” Kevin said.

      “A little over three months, Kevin, I love her, okay, I know she is the one for me, we are so right for each other and I don’t want there to be a day without her in it, I wanted to marry her, I wanted her to be my wife, now she is and I don’t want it to change,” Nick said. Hayley looked at Kevin.

 

Chapter 7

 

Kevin stood there looking at Nick and Hayley. He shook his head.

      “Nick, how can you be sure that this is right, she could be using you,” Kevin said.

      “I would never use a guy, especially Nick, he is the one for me, the last two guys I dated broke my heart, the last one tried to kill me, I was scared to get into another relationship, when Nick asked me to be his girlfriend, I turned him down because my ex was still out there and I didn’t want anyone else getting hurt, as soon as it was safe, I asked Nick to be my boyfriend, then I remember that I used to go to school with him,” Hayley said.

      “What,” Kevin said.

      “Yeah, we were in elementary school, she made fun of my voice and laughed at me, but that was a long time ago, she moved away after that, I didn’t know who she was until she told me her last name, she apologized for making fun of me back then, we are in love now, Kevin, she is my wife, and she is staying that way,” Nick said. He took Hayley’s hand and they left and went back to their suite. He opened the door and picked her up in his arms and carried her into the room and he closed the door with his foot. He kissed her deeply.

      “You really stood up to Kevin,” Hayley said.

      “Yeah, his big brother act was getting old,” Nick said setting her down.

      “I can’t believe we are married,” Hayley said looking up at him.

      “Me either, and I’m glad, I want to be with you forever,” Nick said kissing her deeply.

      “Same here, I love you so much, Nick Carter,” Hayley said.

      “I love you, too, Hayley Carter,” Nick said.

      “Make me yours forever,” Hayley said.

      “As soon as I get back,” Nick said.

      “Where are you going?” Hayley asked.

      “Just to get a few things, to make tonight perfect,” Nick said. He went out the door. She locked it and went into the bedroom and got out a bag she got that day at the mall. She went into the bathroom and got into the shower. She got out and dried off and put on the lingerie. She put on a robe from the hotel and sat on the bed. There was a knock on the door. She opened the door and saw Kevin there. He pushed in and closed the door and locked it.

      “I want you out of Nick’s life!” Kevin said angrily.

      “Why,” Hayley said.

      “You don’t belong here, you are no good for him!” Kevin said.

      “You are not his father!” Hayley said.

      “No, I’m not, but I am not going to stand around and let you be with him,” Kevin yelled. He slammed her against the wall.

      “Let go of me!” Hayley yelled.

      “I don’t think so, not until you are out of his life forever!” Kevin said angrily.

      “Nick is old enough to make his own choices!” Hayley yelled.

      “I know and he made the wrong choice!” Kevin said.

      “You don’t even know me!” Hayley yelled.

      “I know your kind, you want him for his fame,” Kevin said.

      “I knew him before he was famous, remember him saying that we knew each other in elementary school!” Hayley said.

      “You said you didn’t remember him!” Kevin said.

      “I suffered from memory loss after my ex-boyfriend beat me up and sent me to the hospital, you can ask Brian’s wife, she would tell you, call my mom, she would tell you, you and I actually have something in common, I lost my dad five years ago,” Hayley said.

      “You killed him,” Kevin said. Hayley slapped him.

      “I would never kill another human being, well, I killed my last boyfriend in self-defense, the cops know about that, but I didn’t kill my father, he died of cancer, and it was unexpected because no one knew he had cancer until he died, no one knew why he died until they ran an autopsy,” Hayley said.

      “I’m sorry about your father but I will not let you be with Nick,” Kevin said.

      “Let her go, Kevin!” Nick said.

      “No, not until she leaves and never comes near you again,” Kevin said. Nick pulled Kevin away from Hayley.

      “Let me live my life the way I want it,” Nick said.

      “Nick,” Kevin said. Nick held up his hand and looked at Hayley.

      “I filed for an annulment, I talked with AJ and Howie and they pointed out something, if we had known each other in school, why did you not tell me that when you first met me,” Nick said.

      “I told you, Nick, I didn’t remember until after you found out my last name,” Hayley said.

      “I don’t believe you at all, you could have told me your last name to begin with,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him. She sat on the bed.

 

Chapter 8

 

Hayley sat there looking at Nick and Kevin. She closed her eyes.

      “I have known about us going to school together, I did remember everything, I told you I didn’t because I felt so guilty of making fun of you,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

      “I can’t believe you,” Nick said.

      “I didn’t want to remember it, I wanted to forget it,” Hayley said.

      “We are over, done,” Nick said. Hayley nodded and went into the bathroom and closed the door and locked it. She collapsed on the floor and started to cry. She heard the door close and she cried harder. She went out and changed and packed her clothes together and laid on the bed and fell asleep crying. The next morning, she woke up to knocking on the door. She got up and opened the door and saw Brian and Ally. She went and sat down.

      “Hey, how was your wedding night,” Ally said.

      “There wasn’t one, he filed for an annulment,” Hayley said quietly.

      “What, what happened,” Ally said.

      “I lied, Ally, about everything, I did remember everything from school, I knew about it when I first met him,” Hayley said.

      “What!” Ally said.

      “I didn’t want to remember it, that’s why I said I didn’t remember when he first questioned me about it,” Hayley said.

      “I can’t believe you!” Ally cried.

      “I’m losing everything that matters to me,” Hayley said.

            “And you have lost me, too,” Ally said. She walked out of the room with Brian behind her. Hayley got her stuff and went out the door. She got on the elevator and pushed down. The doors opened and she walked through the lobby and went out the doors. She saw Nick talking with Brian and Ally by the doors. She put her bag over the shoulder and walked down the sidewalk and hailed a cab. It stopped and she got into the cab and headed for the airport. She got on the next plane back to Florida. She sat in her seat by the window. As soon as the plane landed in Florida, she went to the house. She started packing her stuff knowing that Nick wouldn’t want her there. A couple hours later, she had all her stuff packed up and she got everything together in the living room when the door opened and Nick came in and saw her stuff. He looked at her.

      “I got my stuff together, I’ll be moving out,” Hayley said.

      “No,” Nick said.

      “What,” Hayley said. Nick came over to her and kissed her deeply.

      “Don’t leave me, I love you, regardless of everything, I cancelled the annulment, we are still married,” Nick said.

      “You said we were over,” Hayley said.

      “I had a plane ride to think about and I want to start fresh, leave the past in the past,” Nick said.

      “Nick,” Hayley said. He kissed her hungrily.

      “Stay, please, I don’t want to be without you,” Nick said.

      “I will stay,” Hayley said. He smiled and kissed her deeply.

      “Don’t ever leave me, I couldn’t bear it,” Nick said kissing her neck.

      “What about Kevin, is he okay with this?” Hayley asked.

      “I told him that it’s my life, my choice, nothing will change my mind, Kristin helped me convince him that I’m not a kid anymore,” Nick said.

      “So he’s okay with this,” Hayley said.

      “Yes, he is, he has to be, Kristin threatened to leave him if he didn’t grow up and leave me alone,” Nick said.

      “What about AJ and Howie?” Hayley asked.

      “They were fine with it from the start, it was Kevin who had a problem, but everything is okay now, I have you and that’s all that matters,” Nick said. She looked at him.

 

Chapter 9

 

Nick helped Hayley unpack her stuff and put everything away. They laid on the bed and just stared at each other.

      “How about having our wedding night,” Nick said. Hayley smiled.

      “That sounds terrific,” Hayley said.

      “Are you ready for your first time?” Nick asked. Hayley looked at him and sat up.

      “Well,” Hayley said.

      “You lied about your first time, didn’t you, you already had it,” Nick said.

      “Not necessarily,” Hayley said.

      “You were raped,” Nick said.

      “Yeah, I was, but I’m a virgin in the making love department but my virginity is gone,” Hayley said. Nick pulled her down and laid on top of her.

      “Is there anything else I should know, any lies?” Nick asked.

      “No, not anymore, that was the last one, no more lies,” Hayley said.

      “I want to make love to you and make you mine,” Nick said kissing her lips softly.

      “I want that, too,” Hayley said. He began kissing her as he removed her clothes. She removed his clothes and he grabbed a condom and slid it on and he gently made love to her.

Three months later, Hayley and Nick were closer than ever. Ally had came over and apologized for everything and they became inseparable. They went out shopping every day. Nick was sitting in the house when Brian came in.

      “Nick, I think Hayley is pregnant,” Brian said.

      “What,” Nick said.

      “Ally said that Hayley has been throwing up and she’s getting fat, I called my mother and she said that Hayley might be pregnant,” Brian said.

      “We’ve been protected!” Nick said.

      “Sometimes it doesn’t work, Ally took Hayley to the doctor today, before going shopping,” Brian said.

      “I want a family,” Nick said.

      “I don’t know about Hayley, Ally said yesterday that Hayley told her that she hopes that she doesn’t become pregnant,” Brian said.

      “You mean my wife doesn’t want babies?” Nick asked.

      “That’s what she told Ally and Ally told me,” Brian said. Brian’s cell phone rang.

      “Hello, hey baby, what, okay, bye,” Brian said. He looked at Nick.

      “That was Ally, Hayley’s pregnant and not happy about it, they are coming home,” Brian said. He sat down. Ten minutes later, the girls walked in and saw them sitting there. Brian and Ally left. Hayley sat down in the chair.

      “Why don’t you want to be pregnant,” Nick said looking at his wife.

      “Because I’m scared,” Hayley said.

      “Scared of what,” Nick said.

      “I’m scared that if I get pregnant, I will lose the baby and not be able to get over the loss, I always said that I would never get pregnant so I won’t have to go through that,” Hayley said.

      “Hayley, if you miscarry, it’s not the end of the world, you will be able to get pregnant again, and I will be here for you,” Nick said. Hayley got up and sat next to him.

      “Nick, I’m sorry for everything, about me saying that I don’t want to be pregnant, I do want to be pregnant, I want to have babies, I just don’t want to miscarry,” Hayley said.

      “We are having a baby, we created a life that is growing inside you,” Nick said putting his hand on her stomach. She put her hand over his and rested her head against his shoulder.

 

Chapter 10

 

Three months later, Hayley was six months along and loving it. Ally is three months pregnant with her and Brian’s first child. Nick and Brian were hanging out and they came back and found Ally alone.

      “Hey, where’s Hayley?” Nick asked.

      “She went out,” Ally said.

      “Where?” Nick asked.

      “I don’t know, all she said was that she was going out,” Ally said. Nick went out the door. Brian sat beside her.

      “Ally,” Brian said.

      “Brian, I don’t know where she went, okay, she didn’t tell me, she hasn’t been telling me much lately, it’s like she’s hiding something,” Ally said.

      “What do you think it is,” Brian said.

      “I’m guessing something that will cause her to lose Nick for good,” Ally said.

      “Do you think she’s having an affair?” Brian asked.

      “Honestly, I don’t know, I mean, she loves Nick very much and can’t seem to be without him,” Ally said.

Nick drove around town and saw Hayley’s car in Kevin’s driveway. He got out and went up to the door and went inside and looked around. He walked into the kitchen and found his wife in a heavy lip lock with Kevin. He quietly left and drove to the marina and got on his boat and drove out to the ocean.

Hayley returned home and found Brian and Ally. They looked at her.

      “Hey, where were you, Nick went looking for you,” Ally said.

      “I went for a drive, I need to get some fresh air, this pregnancy is wearing me down,” Hayley said rubbing her stomach.

      “Hayley, I know you are hiding something from me, you have been acting different since you found out you were pregnant, talk to me,” Ally said.

      “Nothing’s wrong with me, I’m not hiding anything, I’m fine,” Hayley said.

      “Are you sure about that,” Brian said.

      “Yes, I am, okay, I’m fine, I’m not hiding anything!” Hayley said.

      “Hayley,” Ally said.

      “God, fine, I’ve been going to Kevin’s, he and Kristin are divorcing and he needed someone to talk to so I’ve been going over there,” Hayley said.

      “Are you having an affair?” Brian asked.

      “I’m not sleeping with him if that’s what you want to know, we have kissed, that’s all, I have no intention of leaving Nick, and I have no feelings for Kevin and that is the god’s honest truth,” Hayley said.

      “Okay, we better go,” Brian said. They left. Hayley sat down and thought about everything. She went upstairs and took a shower and got out and went out and saw Nick sitting on the bed. She put her robe on.

      “I want you gone,” Nick said.

      “What,” Hayley said.

      “I want you gone, I want a divorce,” Nick said.

      “Nick,” Hayley said.

      “I saw you kissing Kevin,” Nick said. Hayley looked at him.

      “It didn’t mean anything,” Hayley said.

      “I don’t care anymore, you broke my heart, I want you out!” Nick said.

      “What about the baby, huh, if I go so does your baby,” Hayley said.

      “I’ll file for joint custody once it is born, but I want out of this marriage and I want you out of this house!” Nick said.

      “This house was originally mine and Ally’s house, you should get out if you want out so badly, although I would rather die than be without you, there seems to be nothing I can do, even though I don’t feel anything for Kevin, even though his world is crumbling around him since Kristin left him, yeah, Nick, Kristin filed for a divorce, he called over here looking for you, you weren’t here so I went over to talk, he kissed me because he was so upset with her leaving him and filing for a divorce, he is so brokenhearted and he was trying to find someone to talk to, he couldn’t get ahold of anyone so I went over to talk to him because I know what it’s like to be broken hearted and so do you, yeah, I went over there, yeah, Kevin and I kissed, but I’m not having an affair and I don’t want a divorce, I don’t want to lose you, but you want out so badly, you know where the fucking door is!” Hayley yelled. She went into the bathroom and closed the door and locked it and leaned against the door. She sank to the floor crying. She heard the front door slam. She went out and saw Nick gone. She looked out the window and saw Nick drive off. She sat down in the window seat and leaned back against the wall and stared out the window.
